Find 7 HARD brick after latest CM12 nightly

I think I might be screwed.

I've been updating with CM12 nightlies about every third of sixth one since the first one and never had a problem. Until today.

Downloaded the 9/21 CM 12 nightly after running my weekly Titanium backup.

Rebooted into TWRP recovery, flashed the zip file for CM12, wiped cached and rebooted. Except the phone rebooted into fastboot. Uh oh.

Phone will no only boot into fastboot, with just the power button = fastboot, power+vol up = fastboot, power+vol down = fastboot.

Plugged phone into computer with USB, PDANet recognizes the phone as having been connected but won't run because adb.exe is installed. Phone shows up in Device Manager with correct driver, listed as Android Device. Phone does NOT show up in Windows 7 Explorer. ADB does NOT work because it doesn't list any devices.

I can run fastboot and all fastboot commands from a command prompt. I've flashed several new recovery images but still cannot reboot into recovery.
I've deleted and updated drivers over and over.
I've pulled battery, SIM card, SD card in every combination I can think of.

In all cases I can only boot to fastboot.

I LOVED this phone! My best phone ever!

Where can I find a replacement rear cover? The of the battery contacts fell off!

Hello all, one of the little square charging contacts fell off of my gear live for some reason. I never really wore it much because I was always so worried I would scratch it up, but unfortunately one of the little square charging contacts fell off the back cover of my Gear Live. Is there somewhere I can buy a replacement rear cover? I see it has 4 screws and should be pretty easy to swap out, I just cant find one. If anyone can point me to where I can buy one, I would really appreciate it!

[Q] How To Flash Recovery.img Via Fastboot mode OPPO Find 5 Mini (Bootloop)

Help guys,

I bricked (bootloop) my OPPO Find 5 Mini but when i reboot recovery, its blank. Than I try to flash Via Fastboot mode, its not working.

This is my code :

then this is the respond:

I also can not format other partition, caused its RAW type partition.
Can I change the type of partition on my phone?

Help! wiped phone cant find private mode files

Hello,

I need help, I wiped my phone and I didn't make a file backup.

If I connect the phone to the pc, I can see a drive called (private) and have a used space, but If I open the private mode on the phone, nothing show inside.

question If I wipe the phone the file in the private mode folder, get delete too?
Is any way to open the private folder in windows pc?
I have the google auto backup always activate, does it backup the private mode folder?

Any advise is welcome!!

Need help to find US firmware and rom to use LTE

Hello everyone,

I hope someone can help me.

I have an asian unlocked M8 and I live in Mexico so I cant use LTE. To solve this I got S-off, supercid, wwe mid and wwe firmware with Android Revolution Rom and still cant use LTE (Europe LTE bands do not include band 4 aws, so its the same crap). I tried to flash att and t-moble radio but mi phone did not recognise the radio file (Unknown baseband) so I get no signal. Then I flashed the wwe radio and got the same no recognition problem. The only way to get back signal is to flash again the firmware (it does not work to switch the att radio image in wwe firmware)

I need att or t-mobile bands to use mexican carriers Telcel or Movistar LTE (band 4 aws) and I guess I should use att or t-mobile firmware with the matching based rom.

- Can someone recomend me a rom version and firmware version to download??
- Is the unknown baseband problem because of the wwe mid? Should I also change the wwe to att or t-mobile mid and cid??

Cannot find twrp backup file

I recently rooted my G3. Step two was to download a recovery and make a backup. Recovery downloaded fine. Started making my backup and everything seemed to work. It said it successfully made the backup, but I can't find the nandroid file anywhere. I've read some other threads about where they are typically located, and forgive me if I'm overlooking one here on XDA, but my backup isn't in any of the locations those threads suggest. There is no folder that I can find named TWRP. I've looked in media, backups, storage, mnt, nothing. This is looking from both The file explorer within the TWRP Manager app, and ES File Explorer. The most I can find are these three files with question mark icons called "TWRP", "oldrecovey", and "newrecovery" (see screenshot, files are at bottom left). Nothing there though under the file name I saw when I created the backup....which was the date, and then a few more numbers, and then I added the word "stock" to the end.
I did notice a prompt when I opened TWRP the first time that said I didn't have busybox installed and would I like to install it. I clicked on to install it but it didn't seem like anything happened. Could that be the issue?
I'm sure it's something simple but I'm new to all this.

Anyone know where I can find an S pen?

My s pen broke inside the slot on my note 5, but I can't send it to Samsung because I use it heavily for managing work and home stuff. Fyi, the pen physically breaking inside my phone left the phone unusable. Only after removing service from the phone did it begin to function properly. Anyone know where I can get a s pen online?

Where to find stock recovery file for 2nd gen XT1064?

Hello! A few months ago I rooted my phone (Unlocked, flashed TWRP, flashed SuperSU, so my OS is still stock android), but I made the mistake of not backing the recovery up before I rooted it. I would like to return everything to stock, but I can't do that without stock recovery. Can anyone provide a link to a download or something? I don't know if recoveries are different for different android versions, so I had 5.0.1. Any help would be appreciated! :)

I've heard kingo root would work for it but I've had no such luck with both the app and the windows application. If anyone could give me some insight I would be eternally grateful. My goal is to get root, get a custom recovery, and then hopefully flash some custom ROMs to it. Once again I am extremely grateful for any help anyone can give me. Thank you for your time, XDA. "Type to find device..." works, but can't add device to profile

Hi, when I search in the upper box "Type to find device..." even autocomplete for a Wiko Darkmoon works, but I can't add the same device to my profile...

Dead Android with ERROR and ADB does not find zenfone 2

I have no way top do anything to the phone..manually or with PC.... :crying:

just run a system update by asus and zenfone 2 got stuck on asus logo.. I followed the instruction to clear the cash, but now the phone gets the dead android symbol with ERROR. I connected it to PC but ADB does not find the device. ( updated the usb drivers on pc in device manager and I see the ASUS Android Device and below ASUS Android Bootloader Interface.. but still ADB will not find it... HELP anyone ?? Thanks... I have been trying to read on forums, etc.. but I see that people with similar issue get answers like.. connect phone, download so and so on phone, set phone for usb debugging, etc,,. BUT the phone is not seen when connected to a PC..

Sounds are suddenluy default and can't find my tones

i got the LG G2 5.0.2 android stock version.
i got a messege on whatsapp and it was not my ringtone.
i checked it, and all the sounds on my phone switched to LG sounds.

the problem is that when i try to look for my own rigtones
they are not appearing on the list!!
they still at the same right place (media-audio-notification)
i tried to look by file mangar and there are all there!
when i open instagram - he didn't show me my photo gallery
so somehow the phone can't connect to my files
i tried to restart him but nothing happend.

Remove default ' find my phone' app

The default find my phone app doesnt work (something wrong my Samsung S6 most likely) so i installed a third party one that does work. How can i remove the default find my phone app on android wear?

Problem is that when i know say ' open find my phone' android wear crashes...
