Cannot move apps to sdcard: No space left

I am running CM 12.1 (20150916 stable) by novafusion on my S3 Mini. When I try to move apps to the sdcard, I get an error saying that there is no space left on the device. The sdcard works fine on my Galaxy Note. It is formatted with FAT32 and more than enough space left. I created an issue on github, but I don't think that this will ever be resolved. Other issues also never got responses.

Does anybody know a solution or the right place to post a defect?

Developer phone but Motorola website cannot unlock

I have a dev phone purchased here (white back)

however, following instructions on this site and inputting the code, it says 'my device isn't eligible for unlocking'. I thought all dev phones are. What am I missing? The phone does boot up with the verizon logo - does that have anything to do with it? The phone is on 4.2.2 so I believe I have some options but see that if you go past 4.4, then you would have to have write protection enabled

Note 2 cannot startup - stuck at logo

Honestly, I am not expect in phone.
I am having this issue. The phone suddenly went lagg during the time I played the game, and then auto restart.
After all, it never back to home menu anymore. It stuck at "Samsung Galaxy Note II - GT N7100" forever!!

What i have done as below:
1) change battery
2) few times restart the phone by power button
3) Volume Up + Power button + Home button to clear cache
4) Volume Down + Power button + Home button to restore/initialise at KIES (during the initialisation progress, will pop up unexpected error message)

All above never work. Please advise.

I cannot uninstall system apps even after I ROOTED my android phone

Hi everyone

I managed to root my android phone yesterday (I checked with 2 root-checker apps). Now I'm having trouble removing pre-installed apps like Twitter and Yellow Pages which I never use. I tried few uninstall apps, and after granting them permission from SuperUS, they perform an uninstall (some apps do it forcefully) and give a message that the apps were deleted. The apps are not removed from my application list but when I click on it to run, they give an error message. But when I restart my phone, those apps I deleted start working again as if nothing happened.

What I'm I doing wrong? My phone is HTC One M8, android.

Cannot flash / boot recovery

Hello,

i have huge problems booting into my recovery. The last time i remember it worked was before some FOTA update.

The phone is still rooted and the bootloader should be unlocked.

What i tried so far:

1. adb reboot recovery


2. fastboot reboot-recovery


3. Volume key combinations


4. several "reboot" appa

And to reflash the recovery:

1. several flashing apps


2. fastboot flash recovery

Any idea what could be the problem? If you need more informations, please tell me which you need!

S4 Mini: cannot perform software update

A little while ago, I rooted my S4 Mini and installed Android 5 custom firmware. However, my online banking app didn't like root, so I reverted back to standard firmware and removed the root. The phone works fine.

However, when running the OTA update, the phone tells me it cannot update due to root, and I should try using Kies.

I've installed Kies on my PC; plugging the phone in Kies tells me there is an update. It appears to download the required file but the phone does not update. I have tried with SmartSwitch also, but the same happens.

Can anyone please advise me on the following:

What is the latest official update for the S4 Mini; is it Android 5?
How can I update the phone? I thought flashing with Odin, but googling for various permutations of 'S4 Mini Official ROM, S4 Mini Android 5' etc. tends to yield results for the S4 and not the Mini...

Any help here would be great!

I9100 cannot get into recovery

Tried flashing many many different ROMS, recoveries, flashed 3 different full stock roms with ODIN but cannot get into recovery or get a functional phone. Its either bootloops or black screen or black screen playing some vendor melody.......

I cannot enter recovery, but i can get into download mode.

What can i do? Anyone knows?

Cannot mount system partition.

My n6 can't mount system partition so i can not change system file permission even i am on rooted rom. I am using chrome sep 1 build and 2.8.7.1 twrp. Any idea please?

[Q] Cannot download official ROM from MIUI

Hello people,

Did anyone try to download an official ROM from miui.com? I am trying to upgrade my Redmi Note 4G Global Single SIM to MIUI V.7 for a few days but unsuccessfully. Zip file downloads maximum 20MB and then failure. Download speed is unconstant - from 0kb/s till 200kb/s, sometimes lags and freezes. Looks like servers are under maitainning. Could anyone confirm or decline this? Internet connection is good (100mbps).

Help! Cannot boot past bootloader unlock warning.

I unlocked and rooted my device. Everything was working fine until I rebooted the device. The device would boot up, but after the Motorola start animation I had a blank screen. I tried using the return to stock tool, but the results were the same. So I booted into recovery and wiped everything, then booted into the the bootloader, and tried the restore to stock tool again. Now I cannot get past the unlocked bootloader warning? Can anyone help me with this? Thanks

Cannot access /sdcard in recovery

Hi All.

I'm coming from the coderom and looking at installing another rom.
I flashed cf-root kernel, and while I can access recovery, when I choose to install zip, It cannot find /sdcard to flash.

How can i solve this?

s6 edge bricked, cannot write anything through ODIN, Help please !!!

Hello all,

I purchased Samsung Galaxy s6 edge off of craigslist in attempt to repair this software issue.
It is verizon USA version model G925V
The phone powers up and Samsung screen comes up and it says Custom in the middle with an unlock sign which means that previous person tried to customize the software.
It keeps toggling between the same screen and wont boot up.
I am able to put it in download mode and recovery mode.
I have already wipes cache, have performed factory reset but no luck
I have tried to install original firmware via Odin but it says write failed after NAND Write in Odin.
Also tried to reflash the original PIT file but yet again it Odin says Failed.
Is there anything I can do with phone or it is completely gone?
Any help will be appreciated.

C6833 Cannot flash gpe 5.1 ports

As title says I've tried in each and every way, both scrubbers port and hybrid ROM and I keep getting update failed, I have done full wipes and used twrp, cwm, philz, tried from stock ROM from 4.4 ROMs 5.0.2 ROMs, flashed system & boot via both flash tools before and after flashing rom and still nothing... Anybody have any tips fixes or any othwr solutions???!
I am currently on crdroid rom (obviously unlocked BL)

Android Pay Cannot Be Used

I've rooted my T-Mobile GS6e+ using arter97's kernel and I just got android pay today.

When I try to add a card I get the error:
Android Pay cannot be used
Google is unable to verify that your device or the software running on it is Android compatible

I have a good feeling it's because the phone is rooted and it probably checks the device status and sees that it's set to "Custom."

Can anyone think of a possible workaround for this?

Cannot find twrp backup file

I recently rooted my G3. Step two was to download a recovery and make a backup. Recovery downloaded fine. Started making my backup and everything seemed to work. It said it successfully made the backup, but I can't find the nandroid file anywhere. I've read some other threads about where they are typically located, and forgive me if I'm overlooking one here on XDA, but my backup isn't in any of the locations those threads suggest. There is no folder that I can find named TWRP. I've looked in media, backups, storage, mnt, nothing. This is looking from both The file explorer within the TWRP Manager app, and ES File Explorer. The most I can find are these three files with question mark icons called "TWRP", "oldrecovey", and "newrecovery" (see screenshot, files are at bottom left). Nothing there though under the file name I saw when I created the backup....which was the date, and then a few more numbers, and then I added the word "stock" to the end.
I did notice a prompt when I opened TWRP the first time that said I didn't have busybox installed and would I like to install it. I clicked on to install it but it didn't seem like anything happened. Could that be the issue?
I'm sure it's something simple but I'm new to all this.

I cannot upgrade to lollipop on my shield

So, I have an Nvidia Shield Portable and tried to install the lollipop images (update 103 & 106) but when trying to flash system.img I get remote: insufficient memory and flash fails. Everything else flashes fine. I return to factory images manually and all flash fine (as system.img is 100mb less than lollipop) i even lock the bootloader. I then get every official update up until update 101 then I don't get anymore updates, checked for weeks. Can anyone help? Thanks

My phone is stuck in a bootloop, cannot get into recovery or fastboot. My phone can only charge.

Furthermore, in my device manager my phone shows up as ''unknown usb device (device descriptor request failed)''.

Cannot boot, RSD Lite Windows 10 Issue.

Having a strange issue, I cannot boot no matter what I do. I had stock working fine, I wanted to flash a recovery to get root on the phone, and once I flashed the recovery via Fastboot the phone wouldn't go anywhere except recovery. I tried RSD Lite but it doesnt seem to work via Windows 10 no matter what Driver combos I try. Is there a way to fix the boot issue without using RSD Lite? Anyone have success with RSD lite on Windows 10?

Any suggestions?

I cannot install xposed framework on Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 Phone?

Hello got meself one of these fantastic value for money phones and unlocked it to my network next thing I wanted to do is root it and then install xposed framework and then xposed app settings and gravity box.

After I installed xposed framework and tried to install xposed/update framework into the system I was greeted with the message in the pic, I have never got this message with xposed before. What does it mean and what do I have to do, or what am I doing wrong? thanks.
