Help can not upload videos to instagram

I'm using CM11 and I love this ROM but will not let me upload videos to instagram I am from Venezuela I really need help I beg

n00b needs help!!!

I'm a semi-experienced android-er, I've rooted several devices and understand how Roms, Recovery, Odin, EFS Pro, Cygwin, etc.. work and what to do with them. I can't however, figure out how to root my Verizon S4 (lollipop) OR install a custom recovery mod. I have a stock .md5 that I can flash with Odin - I've tried modifying the PIT file and swapping recovery img's etc... and everything goes smoothly untill I get to the modified file and then I get an auth error. Can anyone help me get past this?

I just bough Samsung galaxy s6 , i come from galaxy S4 , and many apps or game that i have installed in S4 now got circle dot floating icon appear in righ side ......its really annoying i cant remove it, is there any custom rom that can fix it? why my lg g3 samsung s4 or nexus 5 dont have this issue??

is related with lollipop? and app service? or just samsung s6?

Hello All,

I was able to unlock the bootloader and root my device but I am having an issue seeing the internal storage drive in windows 7. Am I missing a setting or are my drivers all screwed up (showing as SAMSUNG Android Phone in Device manager).?? Am i not able to place files on the internal storage??

[HELP] Unable to update latest Exodus Nightly on OnePlus One

I've been using the Exodus nightlies for the last few months and updating with no issue until the latest one (exodus-5.1-20150921-NIGHTLY-bacon.zip). When I try to update, it passes the MD5 check but then errors out with "error executing updater". I have tried the following and any tips on what I can try next would be greatly appreciated.

Steps taken:

1. I've tried using exodus-5.1-20150921-NIGHTLY-bacon.zip from both the Exodus Updater application as well as Exodus website.
2. I was running TWRP 2.8.6.1 when I initally tried to install the nightly. After some searching, people seemed to resolve the issue by updating TWRP. I updated TWRP to 2.8.7.0 but I'm still experiencing the same issue.

Anyone experiencing the same thing? Any suggestions on what I can try next?

Upgraded from Kitkat to Lollipop. Just. Need some help rooting.

So not being very experienced at Rooting/Flashing Roms this may come across strange.

Here is a little background to my problem.

I had a rooted Note 3 running KitKat before I decided to flash to Lolipop. I downloaded the Vodafone (UK) variant of the ROM from Sammobile not thinking anything of it at the time (As I am on Vodafone) I went through the usual procedure of going into download mode running Odin as admin and then connecting my phone, adding the Rom files to Odin and then Flashing. Flashing started fine as it got towards the end it Failed on Hidden(Something).
I panicked didn't know what to do so I unplugged my device and tried to reboot. It didn't. It said something along of the lines as there is a firmware error and got stuck on that screen. Panicked some more, decided I would try to google a fix. Came across one which required me to flash CWM Recovery onto my phone. I thought I would try it, Once it flashed which went fine I was told too try and boot straight into recovery mode once the phone starts and reboot through there. I took out my battery put it back in and then went ahead and tried to boot into recovery which worked. Once on CWM I went to reboot the phone As I hit yes too reboot It took me to another screen where it said I wasn't rooted and if I would like to reroot. I decided to click NO and restart the phone. It got stuck on a boot loop, I did a factory reset and cache wipe and it booted into life. (And working fine so far)

So here is where the problem is.

I am looking to get root back to the device. I think I have a locked boot loader as I installed the Vodafone variant of the 5.0 Rom. Would I be able to Flash the BTU Rom onto my device without bricking it, and after that would I be able to root Via CFAutoRoot which seems to be the easiest way to so. Or could I flash with CFAutoRoot Straight onto this ROM.

Help needed! HTC One (M8) with CM12.1 SNAPSHOT - No 60FPS support

I recently installed the CM12.1 snapshot and so far, everything was fine and dandy until I started shooting a video and noticed that my device no longer supports 60fps shooting or viewing media.
Is there anything I need to install in order to unlock 60FPS or am I better off going back to stock ROM?

N4 wifi problem, help please

My N4 is no longer able to detect my home network. It detects my neighbor's network and several other networks, although it cannot connect to any other network. When I try to connect to a detected network, it just says "Saved". My home network is working fine and several other devices in the home are connected to it. In fact, my wife's N4 is still connecting with no issues. I have tried rebooting the phone, rebooting the router, telling the phone to forget the network, changing the channel on the router, no success. Running version 4.4.4.

Any thoughts on what might be wrong or ideas for a fix?

Help in Porting To Cyanogen

im a total noob in programming and stuff :silly:
but im very much interested in mobiles and technology
I wanted to port Cyanogenmod to my htc desire 826(only china and india release, so i figured there will be no further updates from htc :( )
I saw many guides for noobs :p but they said base rom shouldnt be stock, and please correct me if i am wrong that port rom should be pure
So if base rom shouldnt be stock then i cant use the rom in htcdev
and it is written any other rom(cyanogen?) for same soc(snapdragon 615) and resolution(1920X1080)
there is no rom available like that the closest i found was but the rom there itself is for both the 720p and 1080p resolution( project tomato just made the account so outside links restricted :p )
also different manufacturer

Then there was a bug "E:Error executing updater binary in zip" and in the post above it said I just have to reboot recovery. Well, I did and now my phone seems to be hardbricked :eek:

This is a custom recovery bug. Try restarting recovery and flashing again. Alternatively you may need to:
TWRP > Wipe > Format Data > Yes"

Troubles: Wont turn on, doesnt do ****, like its dead. Battery should be ok.... My Windows Device manager recognizes it as unknown device

Help needed with crashes after recovery.

Last night I tried putting Cyanogenmod on my i9300, its a european model that is not locked.
I first tried with the nightly build of CM 11. Flashing went well, but after boot the Phone seemed to crash/freeze after a few minutes. It stopped responding and only gave sound when using the system buttons. after a few presses that freezes too. I was thinking this might be a problem in the nightly build, so I went back in the recovery, cleared things up againa and this time I tried the latest image from the unofficial CM 12 that can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...od-12-t3086689
It seemed that most people have little problem with this version so I gave that one a try. It booted and gave me an error just before the launcher had to startup. but after a reset by taking out the battery, the Phone booted fine and it all went so smooth... but as soon as i got to the point of entering my google account, the Phone frose again. I retried, and again... at that time it was late at night, and the Phone needed to be used today. So I desided to go back in recovery, clean everything out, and put back my backup. Things looked fine... but sadly, at random times th Phone freezes again. its not my Phone but my wife's, she says it hangs using Facebook or chrome. I did not get the chance to look for a pattern yet, but I hope you guys might have an idea whats wrong.
For now I asked her not to use the internet, I'm not sure if wifi or mobile date will influence it, but it doesn't hurt to try.

I have to go to work untill 9pm tonight, and by the time I get home it will probably be 10 or later, so I have little time to work on it.
If anyone can give me a direction to go in or a possible sollution then I would appriciate it. i might have missed something when putting the backup back.
Any idea's?

Overnight my nexus 6's USB port decided to die. Computers wont pick it up, it wont charge, AND my turbo charger makes a beeping sound while it is plugged in. tested w/ an old phone and it charges. i've tried different bricks and everything. still nothing. So i am trying to find out if there is some way i can unroot it, flash stock recovery and relock the bootloader without a computer because i cannot figure this out. i know i can do the super SU uninstall from supersu, but that will not fully unroot my phone correct? it will just remove root permissions. if i cant figure this out, i need to return the phone back to verizon and get another. but if i do so as is, i can say goodbye to my warranty... which i dont want to do. So if anyone can give me some help or steps in the right path, please do so. Thanks.

last night i went to bed and plugged it in and it charged just fine. i woke up in the middle of the night and heard a beeping. found out that my phone wasnt charging. and well. here i am now.

Help dex files

Hi, has anyone experienced that the dex files are way more than KitKat or it's just me happening? I remember they weren't like this, in my tablet with KitKat has 500kb but in my phone fb has 150mb and all apps are like this occupying more than before. Is there a way to delete them like the cache? Or is it normal on lollipop having such a size? I don't know if flashing a firmware from another country has anything to do but I flashed the Russian one xxu and I'm not from there, I did a clean install tho, please someone help me
