Help needed! HTC One (M8) with CM12.1 SNAPSHOT - No 60FPS support

I recently installed the CM12.1 snapshot and so far, everything was fine and dandy until I started shooting a video and noticed that my device no longer supports 60fps shooting or viewing media.
Is there anything I need to install in order to unlock 60FPS or am I better off going back to stock ROM?

No 60fps youtube on my galaxy edge plus

What's up all! I've tried to find answers on the internet, to no avail , so I just want to know if anyone else have the option to view 60fps video on the youtube app on their galaxy edge plus. My previous galaxy S6 Edge, did it with no problem, can't figure it out. Just want to know if I am alone in this dilemma. Thanks!:confused:

[GUIDE] [ROOT] 60FPS YouTube Playback on any device!

Hey everyone !
I was recently searching for a way to enable 60FPS YouTube Playback on my Galaxy S3 i9300. i found nothing, so i decided to mess around with the build.prop. here is a very simple fix that i have found.

  1. update your Youtube app to the latest version.

  2. force stop the play store, YT gaming, and the youtube app. and clear all of their datas. make sure NOT to open them after.

  3. Open up your root file manager and navigate to /System/build.prop and edit your phone model.
    look for your manufacturer down below and replace the phone model with the one that i listed.

SAMSUNG -> SM-G900F
LG -> H815
LG Nexus -> Nexus6

if your device manufacturer is not listed just use the Samsung one. Or if 60 FPS works for you please give me your model number! would be great help to others.

YouTube app freezing when trying to play 60fps video?

So, the YouTube app finally supports 60fps video, and it defaults to it whenever I'm on Wi-Fi, however, whenever it tries to display any video at 60fps, it just freezes on the first frame it buffers and all I get is the audio playing over that frozen frame. I have to switch it to 480p/30 to start properly watching the video again.

Is anyone else having this issue? Is this can be fixed, how do I go about doing that?

I'm on stock 4.2.2 rooted.

Thanks!
