Snapchat Lens feature enable no xposed ROOT NEEDED

Galaxy s4 5.0.1 needed, this might even work on anyo other phone with 5.0.1 firmware.
Steps to have lens working:
-Insure phone is rooted
-Download Root Browsers
-Open Root Exploere
-Find System/build.prop
-Edit build prop with RB Text Editor
-Locate to.product. model=SCH-1545 OR IF ON DIFFERNT PHONE YOUR MODEL
-Change model name to LG-H810
-Save file don't touch or change anything else.
-Reboot and enjoy new features

Verizon Galaxy note 2 with root no data access.

First time poster, so if I do anything incorrectly I'm sorry. A few days ago I rooted my SCHi605 Verizon Note 2 on 4.1.1 using Odin. The root worked, but now I have no data. I've been searching the internet madly trying to find a solution. I've even reinstalled the rooted stock rom. If anyone can help me I'd be much indebted. I'm losing my mind! Please let me know if there is anymore information I can provide.

Hi guys, so I've searched around and can't find a clear answer so I've created this post just to get some clear advice!
I've just updated officially to my carrier (h3g UK) 5.1.1 through Odin.
I know I can install twrp but just wondering how I can get root so that I can get full access to my extsd card and also install adaway to get rid of adds.
I'd quite like to stay on my carrier stock from (at least until simplrom comes out)

Can anyone point me in the right direction???

How can i install custome rom when I cant root my phone?

Hey, i have buyed my s5 in norway, but it got water damage in Thailand so i changed motherboard at some shop in Bangkok.
But i have tryed to root the phone from Odin v3.10.7 with this file in ODIN on CF-Auto-Root-klte-kltedx-smg900f.tar .
And i start the phone and click down volume,power and home .
And after that i get in to Tor and click in Ap box and find my s5 filed and click start, its allways fail.

I want to root becouse i want to try Ambasadii v7,
I have Samsung s5 smg900f with android 5.

Samsung Galaxy S5 NEO 5.1.1- How Do I Root?

Hello!

I am the proud owner of a Galaxy S5 NEO – SM-G903FXXU1AOGG, on Android 5.1.1.
It's a work phone and I use it for calls, texts, email and with S4 I used it in conjunction with Sidesync.

Turns out, Sidesync, does not support the S5 Neo, and apparently the S5 Neo does not have the mirror feature??
So, I try Airdrop, but to use airmirror, my device needs to be rooted.

So, question is, can I root this device, and if so, when will it be available?
I suppose custom Rom is not possible (ie. different camera, processor etc) yet?

About to root my phone and I want to be sure I can go back to stock

Before rooting I need a few answers, please:
1. If anything goes wrong during the root, what can I do to recover everything? How do I go back to square one?
2. Once I'm rooted, my warranty is void, so I'd like to know what can I do to go back to an unrooted state where even if I come to the store, they won't see that I rooted previously, etc.

Can I just root without custom recovery?

All I want is root access but don't care for custom recovery is that possible ?

Good day guys, I'm one of the owners of this device and as you may or may not know we don't have root yet.
Also we still have official 5.0.2 and no news on 5.1 or 6.0.
Such an under-rated phone for what it does!
Many owners of the device me included are willing to donate to developers for their work on rooting this thing.
Hope we can get some people to work on this amazing phone. Let us know about it here and we will help any way we can.

help with root explorer??

I'm rooted with tmobile unlocked usa phone, I was trying to edit things in build prop with root explorer and it doesn't let me do any thing, I even tried to use SQLite editor and it returns with database is currently used

I know its too early but what do you guys this about rooting/custom roms for venice?
BB ceo said (something along the lines) that they will only make an android device if it is secured enough. WOuld that mean a locked bootloader etc? Moreover, it is using a much more secure kernel (http://berryflow.com/2015/09/blackbe...-linux-kernel/) and i've read that some beginner's tools (eg enabling developer's options, sideloading apps etc) are blocked.

So what do you guys think? As for me, I believe in this community and i know one way or another, we will be able to install our favourite custom roms/apps on venice. Although I dont know if it would happen 2 days after launch of 2 years after the device reaches the market!

Btw cant wait for the device! I hope blackberry becomes a force again after this phone. I'll buy it the day it's bootloader gets unlocked + root is acheived :D

I have a problem with my 5.0 note3 , I have tried to root my phone with every method ,I used kingroot app and kingoroot on my laptop nether both worked with me , I even tried to use oden after doing all steps in the last step witch is rebooting my phone It wont reboot and after a while it reboots as nothing was happened !!!! plz help :(

Alcatel 4015T Simply Unable to Root - Please Help

I have been at this on and off for months now and have exhausted just about every option I come across. Ive tried just about all the options on the XDA forums, and dozens of options found throughout Google, I'm at a loss but there has to be a way to root my phone.

I have an AT&T Prepaid GoPhone (Alcatel 4015T) (Fastboot shows device mt6572v1_phone). The phone is cheap, pretty uncommon, and Ive only discovered maybe 3 people on Google that have had the same question for the same phone but it all went unanswered.

The only progress I have ever made in rooting is booting it into fastboot mode, in this mode fastboot will show the device id (Which I noted above but again its mt6572v1_phone), from there I can do nothing else, all commands sent to it, however they are sent to it through dozens of vendor ids such as (0x1bbb) or no vendor ids, no matter what it will just hang and sit there indefinitely with three dots (...) waiting for the command to be sent or accepted.

Furthermore , in fastboot mode, the only sole way to reboot it is to remove the battery as the entire physical device is unresponsive as soon as FastBoot starts up. Im really desperate to root it but am beginning to lose hope in the idea that its even possible.

Requiremetns

1.Root explorer.APKClick Here
2.Rooted android

Process to get passkeys

Without wasting time just move towards steps;)

Open root explorer
And click on left corner e.i. root tab [up]

Go to "Data" folder located in root directory

Then Go to "misc" folder

Find WiFi in "misc" folder and click on it

Click and open WPA_supplicant. conf file located in WiFi folder
And boom :laugh:
You will get all WiFi passwords with SSID stored in you phone :)
