MIUI 6 Developer Global - Google Services Broken

Used the update.zip flash tool in recovery mode to load MIUI 7 (5.9.18 Global) from
http://obigota.d.miui.com/5.9.18/miu...5312c7_5.0.zip

Now google services won't work. I am at a loss to work out what to do. I have cleared the cache for all google apps and also cleared cache in recovery mode.

Any help would be appreciated.

MIUI bugs

Hi guys, I recently bought Xiaomi Mi 3 global version and I have a few questions. First of all it says my Miui version is 16.5.3.0., why is it so? Second problem is every few minutes I get a pop up to install some apps, for example 360 security, clean master, and so on which is annoying and I can't find a way to stop it. Third problem is I can't update youtube app, I have an old youtube app and when I go to play store it says youtube is already updated but it isn't. So what are your recommendations for me?

Just got into flashing, I've been learning a lot here by reading various threads. However I still am a noob. I have now miui 7 on my opo, and really like the ROM. For any experienced miui users here, is there a way in the stock messaging app to get replies back in a group when you send a group message? When I get replies they all get split up into single threads. I've looked everywhere in setting.

What is it?
This ROM is developed by Xiaomi for their own phones. MIUI 7 is the latest one which uses Kitkat 4.4.4 as base. This ROM is created for RedMI and it's ported by a chinese developer(God bless). It's shared by the site techolaty.com.

Why should I install this ROM?
Because VIBE UI is pathetic, no offence.

What do I need to have to use this ROM?

If you don't have any idea on above two things, I strongly recommend not to proceed with this thread.

Where I can get those things?

• Download the ROM here.

How can I install this ROM?

• Step 1 : Copy both the files to your SD card ( The MIUI 7 custom rom and the gapps which you’ve downloaded)


• Step 2 : Boot into Recovery (Follow the guide to goto recovery)


• Step 3 : Please take an entire backup of your current rom through the CWM menu. So that you can restore it back if you fail to install the Custom ROM


• Step 4 : Enter recovery


• Step 5 : Make full wipe including “system”


• Step 6 : Flash the rom


• Step 7 : Flash the gapps


• Step 8 : Reboot (the first boot can take up to 2 minutes)

simcard can't detected after flash MIUI 7

Im come from 4.3 XXUENA1 ( philipines fw ) , i'm install miui 7 base CM but sim card can't detected.
My imei correct but my S/N randomed
I was try to install modem but it can't be solved

Can somebody help me? I was tired cause i was try install MIUI 7 from TWRP , Philz , and CWMTouch but nothing result :(

[Q] Cannot download official ROM from MIUI

Hello people,

Did anyone try to download an official ROM from miui.com? I am trying to upgrade my Redmi Note 4G Global Single SIM to MIUI V.7 for a few days but unsuccessfully. Zip file downloads maximum 20MB and then failure. Download speed is unconstant - from 0kb/s till 200kb/s, sometimes lags and freezes. Looks like servers are under maitainning. Could anyone confirm or decline this? Internet connection is good (100mbps).

How to update to MIUI 7 after root

I am on MIUI 6 v 6.6.6.0 and i want to directly flash MIUI 7 v 5.8.28 on this
I am rooted and with TWRP,
so can i flash this new rom zip directly from the TWRP or do i need to unroot it first and then install the update?
