Call and sod bug fix workaround

Hi friends all those people who are facing this sod and call bug on their latest cm12.1 roms can get rid of the bug by a simple fix... Just flash the boot.img or kernel of aicp 10.0 rom with nightly build 17/08/2015...you can find this file inside the zip folder of the rom.just flash it via adb command fastboot flash boot boot.img

Edge panel during phone call

So I downgraded form Lollipop to Kitkat on T-mobile Edge.
But i really liked the in-call swipes features of the edge panel in Lollipop. In kitkat, the edge panel buttons activate by touch, making my calls prone to accidental mutes and speaker activation.

Any way to circumvent this or port this feature from lollipop ?

Simultaneous data and call

My old HTC m7 had this. On Sprint. It's terribly frustrating tethering to my consoles and getting kicked off when i get a call.

Call forwarding enabled by itself

I have the t mobile note 4 that I am using on my ATT account. It is rooted with a custom rom. It has been working great. A little bit ago it made a sound I haven't heard before and on the screen it said call forwarding unconditional now set. So I can't receive any calls on it. I went to the phone settings and when I access the call forwarding screen everything is turned off and it says invalid network or SIM card. I'm pretty sure the SIM card is working because I can send text messages and connect to the LTE network. Any ideas what is going on ore how to fix it?

Can't surf the internet or use data while on a call on Sprint??

I used to be able to use data while on a call using Sprint on my Moto X 2013 but on my MXPE, the "LTE" symbol goes away as soon as I connect a call.

Is this supposed to happen or is there a setting I need to change? Is this Sprint only??

No caller ID, will not show name when call comes in

So ive had my phone for 2 days
Everything works fine except that when a call comes in, it will only show the number. Once I answer it, THEN it will show me the name connected to that number.

To clarify, if i have 20 people in my contacts listed by name, if one of those people call me, say Bob, it will just show their number when they call. Only after I accept the call, will it show Bob along with the number. Obviously this is bad because I dont know my friends numbers, a just their name. Ive searched all thru-out the phone and cant find the option to turn this on. I just simply want that if somebody calls me, and their number is in my contacts, to simply display their NAME along with the number, BEFORE i choose to answer the call or not of course

Anybody have this issue?

Please dont say reset the phone, spent to days getting it to the way I want it to be.... :(

No missed call in phone app

On my op1 in the phone app when I had a missing call there would be a red arrow next to the name if it was a missed call.

Now with the op2 there is no red arrow. Only the green incoming our outgoing call arrow.

There's absolutely no way for me to tell if I missed a call or took the call.

Any solution?

Call issues verizon note 4 on Tmobile

I'm currently using Verizon Note 4 on T-mobile network. It seemed perfect in the beginning, but an issue with automated call.

the touchpad not working when connected to the automated system ?
(when the phone is connected to the automated system, we are often required put a number to select an option. But, even if I touch a number, it never gets through.)
Any ideas.

Low call volume

Anyone know how to call the in call volume louder? If I use hangouts the earpiece volume is great, but it is low when using the native dialer.

Just got two s5s, so I'm pretty sure it isn't hardware since both do it and the volume is greatly increased in hangouts. I've tested it using the hangouts dialer and calls are loud, but soft if i use the TouchWiz dialer. My SIII seemed louder.

I'm running moar and have applied the volume boost, but no difference in regards to the native dialer earpiece volume. I edited a few things in mixer_paths.xml, but no difference. Earpiece works great with hangouts, so there must be a code to change.

Bypass emergency call

Hi All,

I'm on nightlies. I erased my webroot antivirus app today & now my cant bypass the emergency call screen to access my phone fully.

I tried ADB but cant give access to my lapto since unable to slide to home page.

Help please!

Bluetooth and wired headset call volume issue (LOUD on VZW Note5).

I have spoken at length with samsung and plantronics customer support to no avail and would like to see if anyone else has had this issue. Bluetooth and wired headest call volume is extremely loud, much louder than media volume on the same devices. Even with volume set to minimum on both phone and bluetooth headset it hurts my eara and does not seeem safe for longterm use. Devices I have replicated the problem on include Plantronics Voyager Legend, Plantronics Voyager Edge, Jabra Stealth, and some skullcandy wired earbuds. So far both samsung and plantronics state thay they do not guarantee compatability with other manifacturers devices.

Microphone goes silent during call (hardware problem)

Hi guys, I had this problem for a long time, i want to make the story very short. My microphone becomes silent after 1 minute of use. I used the stock voice recorder to check it without the need to call someone. People get annoyed because they can't speak to me. Sometimes the microphone is silent from the very beginning of a conversation. I hear them well but they can't hear me. Once i've changed the mic flex cable/usb port plate and it looked like it worked fine for about a month. Then the problem came back. Could it be the motherboard? Did anyone experience something similar? I had to repair my camera right after buying it second hand. The technician told me the phone was in touch with water after he replaced the back camera.

Honor 7 - native call recording?

I found, that in Chinese firmware (PLK-UL00C17B162) there is an option to record phone calls.
Unfortunately, I don't have this option in my firmware - PLK-L01C432B100 ( (Poland).



Is there any chance to turn on this unavailable option in PLK-L01?
Or only way is change the firmware - to this Chinese? (Is this required unlocked bootloader?)

No sound with mic during call

Hi,

After red severals threads, my problem isn't solved.

SInce I'm under Viper one v9.0.0 and so under lollipop, I'm unable to call with mic mode, only speaker mode works.

I already perform erase data + cache from differents google's services + wipping dalvik and cache ==> no improvement.

My Google play service version was 7.8.99 and I tried to update to 8.15 + erase cache & data from this service + erase cache and dalvik in recovery ==> No improvement

I haven't tried this methode yet, because of the very old version on Google play service http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-...-play-t2969715.

By the way, the dictaphone works like a charm.

So, Should I try to install the old patch viperone rom 7.0.2 for the known problem under kitkat with no sound ?
Should I call HTC ? or doing something else ?

Incoming Call Popup Window

Can i change the position of the popup call window?
Every time it appears on the bottom of the screen and its annoyng when you text chat on the phone.
I want the windows to appear on the top of the screen, how can i do that?

Incoming call ISSUE.

Hello guys. I have proble with my p7000 and incoming calls. Sometimes the incoming call just bug whole phone. I can't recieve the call and I have to put out the battery. It's really annoying. And also, I don't see who called me in call history. I've made factory reset, but it didn't help. Also I updated my firmware to the version 20150807 but this bug is still here.

Any xposed call recording module for xz 5.1.1? ... Xrecorder is nt working on lollipop...

No notification for Whatsapp Call

Has anybody found a solution to Whatsapp calls not showing up on the watch when someone calls you, no vibration and no notification, and no missed call when you miss it either!!! I think it must be the way Whatsapp is using the notification as an "ongoing" notification, as it definitely shows up on the phone in the notification area. It's driving me bonkers because everyone I know is using Whatsapp Calling to phone me these days, and I'm missing all the Calls.

N.B. The other annoying thing about Whatsapp and Wear, is that when you dismiss the Whatsapp mnessage on the watch, it dismisses the notification at the top, but the message still remains "UNREAD" in Whatsapp.
