Mobile Odin - Stuck on recovery rebooting

Hello everybody,
I have a SM-G900F and i'm on Lollipop with ALEXNDR rom. Just tried to flash a zip with Mobile Odin and got stuck on rebooting recovery. It didnt flash anything. Now everytime it boot in Recovery and get stucked.

I read something about reflash stock recovery. So i got the recovery.tar like here described http://howto.highonandroid.com/samsu...sung-firmware/ from G900FXXU1ANE2 and tried to flash it with odin.
Now Im stucked on flashing the recovery because the blue progressbar doesn't move on. The flash finally has failed.

So i need yuor help! What to do know???

Should i flash the BL? Or can you point me to the right recovery?

Flash T mobile stock firmware onto SM-N910A?

I'm using an at&t note 4 on tmobile and was wondering if it is possible to flash tmobile stock firmware in order to use features like wifi calling? I figured since the hardware is the same that it might be possible. I'm sure someone has instruction somewhere on how to do this but I have been unable to find it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Please excuse this post which is not strictly concerning an Optimus Black. There's no forum for an Optimus Zone 2 (VerizonPP) but I hope this is a common enough issue which must have broader application.

I'm using an Optimus Zone 2 as a replacement for my recently deceased and much-loved Insignia Pilot. The rise of the smart phone has meant the demise of really capable mp3 players like the Pilot but I realized that an Android device would allow me to find music, audiobook, and video apps that might come close to replacing my Pilot.

I've got the phone, by-passed the activation, rooted, customized. The battery is not as long-lasting, but there is a lot going on "under the hood", so that's OK.

I have 3G disabled, WiFi off unless used. My only real complaint with my setup is the annoying nag notification that comes up when I power up the phone concerning the lack of a data connection. It wouldn't be so bad if it would just go away by itself, but no, I have to dismiss it with a touch. I've disabled every phone related app I can find, turned off notifications for those it would not let me disable. And still it's there.

Is there a way to get rid of something like this?

[no, I don't use the device as a phone--although I have GrooveLite Ip installed for emergencies when WiFi is available. I don't own a cell phone. Have no use for one. But it's hard to beat a "mp3" player running KitKat!)

Virgin Mobile Desire 510 stuck on HTC screen

My Virgin Mobile HTC Desire 510 is stuck on HTC screen. I just got the phone in April and need it to last me 2 more months. It is not rooted. I removed the SD card and have tried everything including a factory reset to no avail. What are my options? I really need to get this working again ASAP. Someone somewhere mentioned something about "flashing" it, but I don't know what this means or how to do it, or if that will even help me with this issue.

Please help!

Edit: I should mention that my computer runs OSX 10.9.5 (in case I need to download some programs.)

Hello Note 5 owners! I am planning a move from the note 3, but I am curious about the reception. Samsung in the past had bad antennas, and my area is fringe for 4G with the note 3. I would like to know if you have seen improvements with connectivity over your previous device, especially if you came over from the note 3.

Mobile Network Calibration

Hello people.

The D855 I sent to a shop for fixing returned back with root access open. Asking them about it and why was it done, they simply told me that in D855 after a motherboard replacement (which is the case with my phone) they need to open root access in order to calibrate the 3G/4G connection that can only be done with root access and if it is not done that phone might experience connectivity issues and/or non accurate GPS (which are both present). They also said after making the calibrations they update a higher level version of Android and therefore have the root access removed. They said something must've gone wrong in my case that they haven't cleared root access and they apologized.

My question is, are they saying the truth about calibration part? I have never heard of such a thing. Does anybody know something about this case?

Unable to Connect to Mobile Network on Any Custom Rom

Hi Folks
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini - GT-i8190. I have CWM recovery install which is fully functional - However i have a problem
I have installed about 9 custom roms and none of them, not one, will connect to a mobile network - What i have tried thus far:

• i have tried three different workjing sim cards -


• I have tried a total of nine roms ranging from CM 10 to CM 11, Omni, Carbon, Slimkat and several other variations


• All of these roms install perfectly and are fully functional except for connecting to the network


• When i use Odin to reflash my Stock Rom Backup - everything works perfectly again - i connect to my mobile server with no issues what so ever


• When installing a custom rom i always wipe data - factory reset - and i have also tried formating system and wiping Dalvik cache

I am not an expert but i have customized several phones for family and friends and i have yet to completely brick anything - (came close once but managed to use odin to get out of jail :cyclops:)

But this one has me completely stumped - it is fully unlocked and will work with any network using stock rom -

Is there anyone who can point me in the direction of a fix for this - or to another rom that may not have this problem - i realize its probable that its not the roms but i havent found any sign that others are having this problem

best way to get rid of bloatware and unlock mobile hotspot in Galaxy S4 SCH-I545

I recently bought a Verizon S4 in the US and am using it back at home in latin america. I want to get rid of the verizon pre installed apps, the verizon bootscreen and be able to unlock the mobile hotspot option.

Right now I have the 5.0.1 Android version with the I545VRUGOF1 Build.

What would be the best way to go? flash it with other rom? in that case witch one would you recommend? I like lollipop if possible I would like to keep it but my main goal is to delete the bloatware and enable the mobile hotspot.

My Firephone Hangs then Reboots Often when using Mobile Network

Hi guys, I just recently bought a new FirePhone now on CM11 however what I noticed is that it keeps on rebooting like almost every time an application uses the internet connected to mobile network.

Has anyone experienced similar case as this? I tried not to use mobile internet and instead used Wifi and internet connection worked fine and there were no reboots.

I am using CM11 release of 09/15/2015. I followed well the steps on installation. Performed clean install and even installed GApps pico but still same outcome.

I hope someone can share what was done to prevent the sudden reboots when accessing mobile internet.

Can you bring the Mobile Data to the Notifications Tab?

I just updated my S4 to stock rooted Lollipop 5.0.1 from 4.4.2 and the problem is that there is no Mobile Data Toggle at all. Before when i bought it off eBay - it had it. I know this seems to be a at&t official rom thing but is there any workaround to bring it back up? I searched around but found no fix. I even tried that QuickPanel Restore thing but as it is designed for the S6, as expectd it didn't work.

Windows Mobile for Surface

So I downloaded Windows Mobile 10240 leak, and used (FFU) ImgMount Tool v.1.0.15 and then was looking in the DIR, and I found this INF file ERRATA.INF. Within that file it mentions Surface Pro 3, and has this line;

SURFACE_OEMID = "NVIDIA" ; Surface defines "NVIDIA" as the OEM ID in its tables.

Isn't the only Surface with Nvidia Surface RT and 2?
Does that mean Windows 10 Mobile possibly has been build for the Surface RT/2 for testing and maybe release?
Anyways, I captured the DIR from ImgMount into a WIM file if anyone is interested in looking at it more in depth, let me know I'll post the link to it.

Wifi to Mobile Data Switching Issues on 5.1.1

Since updating to 5.1.1 (Stock, clean install, UB) I have connection issues. Usually happens when switching wifi off or leaving a wifi conected zone, mobile data does not switch on most of the time or it takes a long time to turn itself on. As far as I have read it seems to be a 5.1.1 bug ( see https://productforums.google.com/for...us/o-UyGECxh2k )

Does anyone happen to know a fix?? Has anyone had a similñar issue on Xperia Z?
