How to change to Google Now Launcher

Hello,

Could anyone advise me how to change to the Emotion UI v3.0 to Google Now Launcher please? I've tried a method which was used on the Honor 6/6+ but it doesn't seem to work for me. I want this phone as close to stock as possible! :D

i just received a Google update from playstore .. which is 35 mb approx

it changed my Google launcher :P now its vertical scrolling like ANDROID M :P

Nova Launcher on GS6

Hi all.

I have an AT&T Galaxy S6. I use Nova Launcher, but recently I noticed that if I:

1. Open an an app
2. Click home button
3. Use multitask soft button to open app again
4. Click home button

that it doesn't do any sliding animation. If I interact with the app after opening it again, then press home, then it does the sliding animation back to home.

Hopefully I was clear about this, but this is driving me crazy. Anyway to remedy this?

Nova Launcher

Is it possible to install Nova launcher (or other launchers). Will it affect the functions of the stock note 5? Will I still be using the S Pen, lets say pull the pen out and it will show the Air command ?

Xperia Z5 Launcher for other Sony Phones

You need to have disabled signature verification for it to work. You can disable it if you have root and use lucky patcher.
After that just install as normal apk and enjoy. Tested on rooted Z1 Z2 and Z3 with signature verification disabled.

Nova Launcher Removing Apps From Home Screen After Update

Hey guys, I'm encountering a problem where every now and then where apps will get updated automatically and then they'll get removed from the home screen. I saw another post (albeit from 2013) with a similar problem, however with theirs only the actual icon would be removed and a space would still be present when the app was in a drawer. There seems to be no pattern as to whether they get removed or not, some will go a couple of updates without being removed.

I'm running the latest update of Nova (4.0.2.) on an Xperia Z3 also running the latest update of Lollipop (5.1.1), I want to say that this problem has only started occurring when I'd updated it to 5.1.1, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

Touchwiz v nova or Google now or any other third party launcher

Do you guys notice any performance changes or battery changes when using a launcher other than touchwiz on this phone? On every phone I had included note 4 I never used touchwiz causw it was crap but on this phone I've been using it and it seems okay. What do you think?

Lmt launcher ( pie control)?

Has anyone tried lmt on the g4 yet I know it has problems with the g2 I haven't seen anything about it, anyone want to test it to see if it works, also can we disable the nav bar?

Launcher with Force Touch

Can someone develop a launcher that implements force touch similar to how Apple implements it in the iPhone 6s. I believe this is possible because most android devices can sense the pressure being applied on the screen as demonstrated in an app called "Force Touch Demo" on the Play Store.

Also, Force Touch Demo gives different readings for different devices, so the launcher should be calibrated to that specific device on the first launch.

Turn launcher landscape with Xposed?

With the module App Settings for Xposed I could put the home screen launcher landscape when I turned the phone. In 5.1.1 it does not work anymore. Can someone confirm?

Disable LG G Watch R Default Launcher

Hi everyone
I am interested in disabling/removing the default launcher panel that shows up when you swipe from right to left on the watchface
With all the other better launchers there is no need for the default one anymore but I find it still opens from time to time and is annoying.
If anyone has attempted this or done this already I would love to know how.

Issues with launcher after turning on battery saver

Hi,
I've faced some strange issue - after turning on extreme battery saver (one that turns screen colors to grayscale) my launcher stops working.
It doesn't freeze - it crashes every frew seconds.
I'm unable to enter options, even using status bar cogwheel - notifications about crash pop-up one after another.
Installing other launcher via adb freezes the device.
Sadly I have no custom recovery to try flashing zip stock launcher, so it forced me to do factory reset twice.
Do You have any idea what might be the cause of it? Or maybe any of You have faced this issue?
I'm running G920F variant with stock system (latest 5.1.1). Device was rooted (thus knox was tripped)

Note 5 Weather Widget Works With Nova Launcher

For those wondering how to get the weather widget to work with Nova..

The thing is the widget looks different in the preview of Nova Widgets.. The widget looks like white blue calendar in the preview however once you put the widget on the "Desktop" it'll turn into the one thats on the touchwiz launcher.

The only thing that is not available is the clean digital clock but you can do my fix which comes pretty close to the clock widget.

The clock I'm using is a skin through beautiful widgets pro.
- BW Clock 2x1
- Skin: S5-Lollipop-Smooth.
- Turn the background to 0%
- Feature: none
- Select the Date Format of your choice

Once you guys get the widgets setup re-size them to complete the look.
