Auto Tether or widget to toggle hotspot

Hi,

Is there an app that will auto start tether when it detects a bluetooth connection? I have used a few in the past with previous phones and they would work with KK, but now on Note 5 lollipop they dont seem to work anymore. I've tried trigger, but sometimes it would not work. I've tried "In-Dash Tether" "AutoTether for Automatica" I've tried Tasker, I've tried all that i can find, nothing seems to work.

I'm at a point that I want to make a script that would run when trigger using in conjunction with trigger or tasker.

I need this because I want to use in my car so whenever i enter my car it would auto turn on.

Any sggestions will be appreciated.

[HELP] Fingerprint Scanner Widget

Is there anyone out there that can create a widget that I can put on my lockscreen that replicates this animation (does not have to be exact) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGTEhznz1MA but uses a different fingeprint icon. Something more simple, like the Oneplus 2 one https://i.imgur.com/W74YhDu.jpg ? I've been searching for a while now and I absolutely can't find anything out there. I would love you forever!

It doesn't need to be entirely functional. For example it could just repeat an animation as it does at 0:34 in the video above.

Google Play Music 3x1 Widget

I've done some searching and can't find an answer to this.

With the most recent update to Google Play Music app, the 3x1 widget is no longer re-sizeable for me. Previously, it would re-size to show a large album art picture, now, no matter what size I make it, the album art icon stays small and to the left of the music controls.

Has anyone else seen this or can someone else test to see if they have the same experience?

Simple search widget with keyword search engine selection

I want a very simple search widget that passively sits there as I enter my search query, only responding to perform the search when the enter button is pressed. I want to prefix the query with one or more keywords signifying which search engine to use. I want to type in 'w peaches' to search for peaches on wikipedia and 'w g peaches' to search for peaches on wikipedia and google (opening two tabs).

This would greatly improve my phone. It is a must have feature in any modern browser, exposing it via a long press of the search button would not go amiss.

Note 5 Weather Widget Works With Nova Launcher

For those wondering how to get the weather widget to work with Nova..

The thing is the widget looks different in the preview of Nova Widgets.. The widget looks like white blue calendar in the preview however once you put the widget on the "Desktop" it'll turn into the one thats on the touchwiz launcher.

The only thing that is not available is the clean digital clock but you can do my fix which comes pretty close to the clock widget.

The clock I'm using is a skin through beautiful widgets pro.
- BW Clock 2x1
- Skin: S5-Lollipop-Smooth.
- Turn the background to 0%
- Feature: none
- Select the Date Format of your choice

Once you guys get the widgets setup re-size them to complete the look.

Hope this helps!!

I wish I can upload some pics but unfortunately XDA doesn't allow me since I don't have over 10 post.

Agenda/Calendar on lock screen? Or better widget?

The widget for the Calendar only displays in month mode? Is there any way to go agenda/daily mode? Or better yet, put it on the lock screen? I've dug around but can't find any display setting changes.

screen brightness presets - app or widget?

with my HTC M7 I used Qbright that worked well, but it has a menu interface and I can't find a way to trigger the menu with the G4.
Is there another app or widget that works with setting 3 presets?

Hard to see the native bright widget in bright sunlight.
I had mine hidden in FlipSense Clock/Weather, so I knew the spot on the screen to trigger.
I'm using Flip Clock/Weather again to hide Qbright, but like I said, no menu interface available with G4.

Does anyone know this clock widget?

Saw this in an android article. I cant find this specific clock widget. Does anyone know the name? Please help
