Create link to a folder in sd card

Hi guys I ask myself this question I have not been able to find solution
With es file explorer in the network cloud that I added that use google drive.
Now I would like to create a shortcut to a folder in my google drive in the root directory of the SD card, not in the care home where there are app widgets (that is, the first screen you see when you turn on the device).
I did not succeed, when I press the folder and hit on property the only option that comes out is create shortcut on the home. I tried also with other file managers but nothing.
Does anyone know a method maybe even downloading some application?

Very large "Android" folder in main memory...

Hi, does anyone have any idea why this folder has fattened so much in 18 months of use, and whether or not I can trash it? Galaxy Note 3, international version.
Size, more than 5 Gb..

Downloads Folder Question

Weird situation. When I download something using Chrome, it shows up in the Downloads "app" which I assume is just a folder. I can also see the Download folder in ES File Explorer as well as the file I downloaded.

Now if I copy another file to that folder, I see the file in the Download folder, but it doesn't show up when I click the Downloads "app" - only the actual downloaded file shows up.

How can I get all the files in the Download "folder" to show up in the Downloads "app"?

Thanks

How can I do to delete the preload folder at 5.0.2?
I have been root, and already try to delete it at TWRP
but it still show up when I reboot
Can anyone tell me how to delete the preload folder with stock 5.0.2?

i need carrier folder for lollipop 5.0, help please

i have a sprint note 3 ................. and i just got boostmobile

the previous owner worked for sprint and did a hard reset and deleted the contents of the carrier folder along with everything on the phone.

now when boost mobile tried to do the handsfree activation i get an error. also the prl update doesnt work, i might need a copy of that too.

and then a copy of profile 0, and profile 1 information

......................................... but for now if anyone has a coppy of the carrier folder for me who is on lolliepop 5.0 THAT WOULD BE FANTASTIC.

..... YES, I READ OVER THE HFA FIX SECTION OF THE NOTE 3 ALREADY. THAT THREAD HAS SLOWED DOWN DUE TO NOTE 4 AND NOTE 5 DEV.

IF I COULD GET A COPY OF THE CARRIER FOLDER MAYBE THE PHONE WILL UPDATE PROPERLY, but for now i have a smart phone with no data, only voice and text. really frustrated here ......

Sony XPERIA M5 E5603 system folder (firmware 30.0.A.1.23)

I really looking forward to Sony XPERIA M5, but it will be available only in selected markets. For now, i download firmware from Emma and upload complete system folder for you. I don't scan it so much (very less time for now), but it is still Android 5.0 Lollipop (i don't understand why, but probably thanks to Mediatek CPU). You can download it below (link is on my site). After firmware will be normally available, we can delete this topic...

TWRP folder now a 0 byte file and undeletable

First off, though I don't know that it'd be a factor here, but I switched carriers from T-Mobile to AT&T. I don't really see how switching SIM cards would have any effect - I'd already updated to 20e, re-rooted, and installed TWRP. Double checking under Settings/Hardware Info, it shows my phone still is listed as a LG-D851.

It's been awhile since I made or checked my local TWRP backups but checking just now my TWRP folder displays as a 0 byte file. Unfortunately, I can't remember whether I successfully created a nandroid after updating to 20e... My thought was delete the file, copy a full set of TWRP folders (nandroid) back from my extSDcard and I'd be fine. Problem is I can't delete the file (and now thinking best to ask first, lol!). Searching, I found one other that had this issue but they didn't have a solution...

I've tried with FX file manager (with root granted) but get an access denied error. Going in under System as root user and navigate to /mnt/sdcard/, I see all other folders but no TWRP file. I've tried ES File Explorer which successfully deletes it, but it reappears. Even tried deleting and creating a temporary TWRP folder immediately after but I get "Sorry, operation failed".

I'm able to get into TWRP, run a backup which says it completed successfully, but I only find this file. I use TWRP Manager free and thought about installing the latest TWRP (from 2.8.6.0 to 2.8.7.0) but don't want to create a bigger problem. Thought best to ask the pros!!

Any thoughts?

Music Folder keeps disappearing from Ext. SD Card

Hi all,

I have a very annoying problem, I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus (SM-G901F) and I have an External SD card of 128GB in it, but now for the 2nd time this week, my "Music" folder disappears from the SD Card and isn't reachable or found, while the other folders on the SD Card are still there, it is only my "Music" folder that keeps disappearing, does anybody know why that keeps happening, because now I have to transfer all of my music again to the SD folder and that is just very annoying when you have a big music collection you want to save on there. Is there a setting that I need to change or something else? I have the device rooted by the way and I am running CyanogenMod.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

MP4 file transfer from PC to phone automatically to camera folder

I transferred a couple of 200mb+ size MP4 files to my phone using KIES but for some reason it saves the files in the same folder as the photos gallery in the internal memory. I've got 100s of mp3 files which automatically store in the SD card but not the MP4 files. Obviously I'd like to keep the internal memory as free as possible. Thanks in advance. :o

Not enough space available to download... system/ folder full

To start, I have an L710T from Boost. Stock rom, 4.4.2, rooted, but that's all. No extra nifty stuffs.

This morning I woke up to an error that says "Couldn't download system update. Not enough space available to download." When I click on it, it says it needs 70.5MB. I have over 9 Gigs free on the phones internal SD. I did a little digging and found that the /system folder has 1.48GB used out of 1.56GB, which means there is only 81.92MB free on that partition. I'm guessing this is the cause of the error message. However, I don't have very many apps installed, and the apps in /system/app and /system/priv-app all appear to be pre-installed apps, except for superuser.apk. I cleared the cache on all of the apps holding a large amount of cache, but that didn't help.

I looked at what folders are holding the most data and /system/priv-app has 383MB, /system/app has 375MB, and /system/lib has 345MB. Those are the biggest, with the next being /system/framework with only 59MB. So I think I've located what the problem is, I just don't know what to do about it, or how it got that way. Any help is greatly appreciated.
