Which camera app?

Just got the phone today and I'm really enjoying it. Camera seems to take pretty decent photos, I'm just not liking the UI of the stock app itself. What are you guys using?

Is there a custom rom to moto x 2014, which is possible to set manual camera control, like Iso, shutter, macro? I used the app "manual camera compatibility" and my original rom doesn´t support it.

Warning - camera failed

I suddenly started getting the error "Warning Camera failed" when i attempt to use the back camera on my rooted s6 edge running stock touchwiz. The front camera i working fine.

I tried wiping my phone and installing a custom rom, but the error kept occuring.

Is there anything else software-wise i can do to attempt to fix this, or is this perhaps a physical problem?

Photos not saving with Moto camera app?

Recommended the MXPE for a family member before it was even released based on the X's proven track record over the past couple years. So far it's been pretty good, although it seems to get toasty a little more easily than I'd like to see.

However, ran into an issue today where photos snapped with the stock Moto camera app appear not to be saving to local storage. Found a few reports of this happening on previous-gen Xs, but none anywhere (including here) for this year's so far. Tried clearing the contents of /DCIM, then later deleting it entirely; clearing the app's cache and data, etc.; and obviously resetting the device -- all to no avail. Have advised them to switch to Google Camera for now, which does not display the issue. FWIW, no microSD card is inserted into the phone.

Anyone else experience this at all? Can anyone who's already used the camera heavily (snapped pics on at least a dozen separate occasions) confirm they DON'T have the issue? Very perplexed and wondering whether this is a weird software bug or indicative of a defective unit hardware-wise.

weird noise in camera apps

No idea if its normal, but I keep hearing this strange noise, almost like the shutter is turning on or opening, whenever I open up an app that uses the camera. don't really see any actual performance issues, but it's a weird noise.

CM 12 camera on Moto x Play rom

Hello guys! I have been searching for clues about the camera stopping (closing down the OS aswell) on CM12 for Moto X play.

Now i wonder if someone have the same issue,

ISSUE: Trying to load up the camera app and the whole os is rebooting, dont know why? Any clues?

camera failed :(

i bought a att note 3 couple of months ago box cams are blurry so i noticed some dust inside . i open the phone clear the dust so front cam is works like a charm but back camera isn't working with an error of camera failed . clearing app data isn't help , re-installing new firmwares(kitkat,lollipop both) also came with same error, so i visit for some repair shops and try more than a dozen of camera pieces but camera failed isn't gone. so is there anyone who know whats wrong with it and how i get out from this?

Can we put Kitkat camera to 5.1.1 is it possible to port it? I don't like the camera on Lollipop. To blurry.

New camera performance, quality and flash brightness

Hi there,

So according to Sony the new camera is suppose to be something out of this world. but due to the horrible performance. I had my iphone 4's photos side by side with my z3c and I couldn't tell the difference for most.Therefore, I am very skeptical about what the new camera actually offers.

Another major issue for me was the flash on the phone. Since my first phone with a flash I found it very useful to have as a flash light. the Z3c however was a major disappointment in that area as my old iphone 4 outperforms it by far.

So what I'd like to see is a few photos from the z5c (night time aswell with flash).
Also, I'd like to hear your opinions regarding the new camera/flash and how well they performs

My camera button is locked. Can I disable it?

Hey I don't know how to do all that fancy stuff with rooting and such, super stupid when it comes to tech. Is there a simple way to just disable the button? It's locked / like thinks i'm pressing it down so I literally can't use it because it just keeps opening firefly and the camera. It's driving me insane. Thanks

Camera Gallery

I just noticed something weird happened. When take pictures, it saves in the camera folder. I can view it from the phone. But when I plug that to my pc through a usb cable, I don't see that pic in that folder.
But I can only view it from the phone. How do I fix that.

HTC One M8 camera keeps crashing randomly.

Hello,
My HTC One M8 (T-mobile) has been acting up lately. The camera crashes randomly when I open the camera app. There is no error message, it just crashes and phones goes back to the home screen.
I have tried other camera apps too, same fate.
I think I have started noticing this after the latest android security update that was installed a week ago.

Anyone facing similar issues?

I have tried force stop, clear cache, clear data and even a factory reset. Nothing helped.

Slow motion stock camera doesn't work

I shot a short film today with the stock app. I selected slow motion and started filming. Afterwards I noticed the film wasn't going slow and no way to slow it down it the gallery.

What am I doing wrong?

Camera Quality

Hi there,

I just got my Honor 7 from vmall, and i dont know if the camera quality is what I expected.

Until now I have been using a nexus 4, that have a very poor quality camera, so i expected that nowadays devices would have a much better quality. I feel honor camera is quite bad, but I cannot compare with other 2014-2015 phones.

For instance, wich famous terminal have similar quality camera? Lg g3? S4? S5? Iphone 5?

Im considering get back my money and try to find another phone with the budget even the only things Im worried about with Honor 7 is camera, lack of NFC, and roms community.

Is my back camera dead?

Okay got a replacement and beyond low speakers I cannot get it to switch to back camera. Then when trying to activate flashlight j get a system force close.
