Photos not saving with Moto camera app?

Recommended the MXPE for a family member before it was even released based on the X's proven track record over the past couple years. So far it's been pretty good, although it seems to get toasty a little more easily than I'd like to see.

However, ran into an issue today where photos snapped with the stock Moto camera app appear not to be saving to local storage. Found a few reports of this happening on previous-gen Xs, but none anywhere (including here) for this year's so far. Tried clearing the contents of /DCIM, then later deleting it entirely; clearing the app's cache and data, etc.; and obviously resetting the device -- all to no avail. Have advised them to switch to Google Camera for now, which does not display the issue. FWIW, no microSD card is inserted into the phone.

Anyone else experience this at all? Can anyone who's already used the camera heavily (snapped pics on at least a dozen separate occasions) confirm they DON'T have the issue? Very perplexed and wondering whether this is a weird software bug or indicative of a defective unit hardware-wise.

Does anyone know of an app that will allow me to schedule when the HTC extreme power saving mode kicks in? (e.g. Nighttime from 10pm)

I had read somewhere about a paid app that did this but can not find it anywhere.

I have read some threads which suggest that Tasker can do this, but I don't have the smarts.

issue when power saving mode + screen turned on

Hi everyone,

since I updated to 2.10 software version, I have a recurring bug...
When I activate power saving mode, every time when I turn screen on the GPS icon appears and seems to be trying to locate the phone, although I have GPS deactivated and location settings set to power saving at all times.

I've tried it with many custom ROMs, stock and elementalx kernel, but it's still there. Is this a bug from HTC ? Haven't found anything regarding this on the forum.

to delet 2 tiny files as the phone starts and ready to use.

Those 2 files are deleted by root rights and so save alot of battery ! i bet you wil never see your phone eating up 90% battery by phone / call .

so....recently I did a research after metodes of how to put the UltraPowerSavingMode on GalaxyNote3(SM-N9005)
I found a few links but when I looked in the comments ... some people said that it worked, but many many others said that they got bootloop and other errors...
So now I'm asking you ,guys....and laydies.... is it possible to put the Ultra Power Saving Mode on the Note3? I mean....the hardware is good enough ,isn't it?:confused:

as I wrote in the title, I'm looking for a stable LIGHT, SMOOTH and BATTERY SAVING ROM for the Samsung Galaxy W i8150.
At the moment I've got a cyanogen mod 11 (ancora) on my phone. This ROM sucks the battery much faster empty than the original Android 2.3.6 I had on the phone before. I've tryed to flash the Ringa Linga ROM but it didn't work. During the installation the phone hang up and didn't wake up again.

What are your experiences? What would you recoment for a long lasting battery, smooth using ROM for the Galaxy W i8150?

Saving existing wallpaper

I have a wallpaper that I use on my home screen (see attached) but I lost the original image I used for this wallpaper. (The source folder was accidentally deleted).

Since the image still is present on the desktop, even when I reboot, where would I find it on my nexus 5 sdcard so I can save it again? My desktop is Nova prime.

App for monitoring awake time and a battery saving browser..

I rooted my H815 v10c. And I installed Gsam. After a day of normal usage it says that I have about 1.5 hrs of awake time, but nothing more specific, regarding the app that causes it. Is there an app that lists out what kept my phone awake? Is this even a problem to have that much time as awake time? Or is it normal? Gmail sync off, I only get notifications from facebok, i use it with Facebook chat enabler and that's about it.
I also installed wake lock detector but I can't see a section for apps that could have kept my phone awake or actually did.

The other thing. I didn't want to open another thread for it:
I noticed that Chrome, the stock browser and dolphin eats up 5% in 10 to 15 minutes, where chrome is the most hungry. It's horrible to see every minute or two 1% battery loss.
I found out that opera mini uses the same 5% in 36 minutes. (I tested them at home, on the same brightness level of about 25-30% using WiFi.)

My question, how come that opera uses only that much battery? And, is there another browser that is the same, or better or just a bit worse on the battery than the opera mini, but a bit more optimized or more fluid?
I tried UC mini and apus browser, but they're no good... I quite like the stock browser and chrome too, but I hate their battery management.. If there's no alternative, I'll stick to opera mini.

Battery Saving Tips? Stock 5.0.1 ROM

Hey guys. I just got my Note Edge. Yes I realize it is different from Note 4 but it still runs the same Lagwiz on T Mobile. I haven't had time nor do i have the time to look for custom ROMs. I also just got the phone for 400 bucks so I am very wary of doing any flashing since Samsung is trying to make it harder to make this phones useful for past a year.

Was wondering if you guys could impart some much needed wisdom. My phone came with 5.0.1 unfortunately so I couldn't tell it not to update. Battery life sucks on this. What T Mobile Bloatware and Bloatwiz stuff and other tips can I use. I just realized wifi takes more power it appears than data which has never been the case for me in the past
