Problem with Contacts and Google Sync

Greetings guys,
I had to reset my phone to defaults this afternoon, so i lost all apps, data and contacts. When i try to sync with my google contacts, i never got all of contacts back, althought i always selected save to google account when i added a new contact on my phone.

It's like some contacts "stuck " to the google account and where synced back, while others didn't.
What could have gone wrong ?

LG D802 on ICS boot looping since last night if auto SYNC is enabled

I have been happily using my phone on stock 4.4.2 EUR for last 8 months. This morning I woke up to find my phone constantly rebooting as soon as I enter the SIM pin and it lock on to a cellular signal. After a lot of trial and error, I have found that if I immediately switch to airplane mode before entering SIM pin and then switch off auto-sync the phone, and then turn my mobile signal and data back on (by turning off airplane mode) the phone is fine.

As soon as I turn on auto-sync it goes into loop mode again. For the time being I am keeping sync off, but has anyone else experienced this suddenly?

Makes me think it is connected with some automatic update that Google sent to my phone overnight for their Play services or such.

Auto Sync Restarting the OPO

Sorry guys there are a lot of threads already for the random rebooting of the phone,But I Kinda found a workaround for the issue by turning off the auto sync feature of the android now i want to know where to go from here.

Automatic calendar sync between exchange and google calendar

Hey there,

I've got a question:
I've got several calendars at my mobile phone - including an exchange calendar from my job.
All calendars are available at my Google account and accessible via browser, except the one from my job. At the office, the Exchange prohibits publishing any calendars, but since I've got it available at my mobile phone: Is there a way to make the exchange calendar accessible via Google calendar at any browser?
An app which would automatically copy any changes from the exchange calendar into one of my Google calendars would be perfectly fine :)

So.. Does anybody got a trick or hint for me?

Google Contacts won't sync... :/

Hi everyone,

I usually Sync my phone manually when I have a need.

I got a new phone and want to Sync current contact list on my phone with Google. I tried but no success. Today is 15.09.2015, under contacts it says:

"LAST SYNCED SUN 26 JUL 2015"

I try to run SYNC manually few times, it starts but then stops (no message or notification)

Any advice?

Curious about sync cable issue

I had to replace my g3 from asurion recently. I have aa 8ft heavy duty braided gold connector sync cable that worked fine with my last phone. (G3 Skydragon 4.0). The cable didn't work with my replacement, that is until i rooted and flashed Skydragon 5.0. Just thought it was weird. Any thoughts on this issue?

M8 won't connect to HTC Sync Manager

Recently I updated my M8 to Lollipop via RUU. Before the update, I backed up my phone using HTC Sync Manager (SM for short) but now that I finished updating my phone, SM won't recognize the phone any more. I tried reinstalling, restarting, and or resetting my laptop, my phone, and SM. My laptop does recognize my phone as a media device player and able to access both, internal and SD card memory. When I connected, SM tries to connect to my phone but after a while a box will appear saying that "Device is unavailable. Please reconnect your device. [4]" Dunno what to do and getting really frustrated with this. Can someone please help? Thanks!

Google Contact sync with facebook pictures.

Hey!

Can someone please explain to me why my contacts aren't syncing with the correct facebook picutres my google contacts have on facebook? The picture isn't updating at all. And i have sync contacts enabled. Do i need an app for this? WOuld be nice to have the updated pictures :eek: I have not rooted my phone still its still pretty new and really don't want to mess something up. Maybe worth mentioning i have the xperia z3 running lollipop

Made Lollipop Usable -> Disable Account Sync

Somehow over the weekend, thought about disabling the Account Sync, yeah, mail, chrome, keyboard, and my Nexus 7 with Lollipop is usable again! Faster access to Chrome and Keyboard especially!

Nothing else I have tried that I have found online works.

My tablet is not my main device, so its fine to manual sync a lot of things.

How to sync or add photo on Android 5.1.1 on Owner account/user

Hello,
I'm using CM12.1 on my OnePlus One, I have Google and CM accounts synced with my phone, but somehow image as the Owner user is still the default as if there isn't any photo. I'm uploadijg a screenshot to let you understand better.

Is there a way to sync or add a photo to user account?

PLEASE help - What is google photo sync under google account sync settings

Hi. I have been trying to figure this out for a long time. I even posted in the google support forums and got a bunch of bogus answers.
There is a sync option for google photos under settings>accounts>google. There is also a backup and sync option in the photos app itself. My understanding is that backup and sync in the photos app will sync my photos to the cloud, and any changes made will synchronize between my phone and the cloud. What does the google photo sync option do under account settings?

I have tested this extensively....I used my wife's phone to sign into my google account. I turned backup and sync on (in the photos app) on MY phone so a few pics would go to the cloud, and then made sure I shut it off on both phones. The pics appeared on my wifes phone under photos once they were in the cloud, even though I had backup and sync turned off on both phones in the google photos app. I also checked and made sure the sync option under google account sync was off. I then tried deleting a pic on my phone, and sure enough, it deleted it from my wifes phone. I found this odd so turned off ALL sync options, even app data, in my wife's phone and tried deleting another pic on my phone. Sure enough, it deleted on her phone. I also tried turning backup and sync on in the photos app on my phone, and still had ALL sync options off on my wifes phone. Her phone got the pics as soon as they went to the cloud.

Even more interesting: When I turn backup and sync on in the photos app, then go to the sync options under google account, there are TWO options - google photos, and google photos backup!? When backup and sync are on in the photos app, the switch for google photos backup under google account gets turned on, but the google photos switch remains off. This proves that this google photos sync switch is separate than the backup and sync in the photos application. BUT WHAT DOES IT DO and why are photos syncing to my wife's phone, even when I have ALL sync and backup options turned off???

I am so frustrated with google lately and the way they have over-complicated everything. I've rooted plenty of phones and am not a newbie to this stuff so I don't understand how the average person is expected to make sense of this craziness. They offer no support except the google support forum, and I got a bunch of answers there that I could quickly disprove were true.

Sync notifications

Is there a way to sync notifications? for example if both my tablet and phone are signed in to Facebook as soon as I get a notification, it pops up on both.

The apps I use which I want to sync notifications on is:

Facebook
Gmail
POF (Plenty of Fish)
Facebook Messanger

Had a quick Google search and nothing was found.
