Made The Switch From Verizon to T-mobile...

I just switched from the Note 4 on Verizon to the Note 5 on T-mobile; New phone expected to arrive tomorrow.

One thing I saw mentioned here and there about the T-mobile Service is this "Advanced Messaging Service." There is limited information I could find, no real Videos demoing or discussing the feature, but a couple blog post here and there making mention of it.

Has anyone used this feature on the Note 5; If so, how does it function, does it function well, is there any lag between sending and receiving messages, does the Live Presence indication actually work ("Bob is typing" etc.) Any kind of information or feedback on this "Feature" would be appreciated.

Also what is your experience with the WiFi calling? Does it truly sound like HD Voice quality? Any issue switching for WiFi calling to 4G (walking out of the home does the call drop when switching to 4G coverage?)

My Z4 just asked to update the ROM, and afterwards, the screen has areas that are no longer touch sensitive.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

HTC Desire VC t328D CDMA Taiwan Made

Dear Sir, I bought New set HTC Desire VC t328D CDMA in India having China made on 15-Aug-2015 which worked OK for one day and on charging it get halted in Android OS then I tried all methods to bring it back to life thru installing OS but none I get successfully in my work. That its Android OS is not working. I tried last 20 days all the methods of various ROM Packages available ON Internet related to HTC Desire VC t328D but none it worked as when all things of Android get successfully installed the phone gets boot up the HTC Quite brilliant logo comes and then get shut off automatically in just 10 seconds. I not know how to correct it with the Android original version which COmes with the Handset. The recovery cannot be installed as when I try to install it goes in to "this build is for development purposes only do not distribute outside of htc" Red text and then shut it off. I am tried last 20 days on this same problem.

I cannot get install also be successful in Recovery of ClockModWork or TWRP as when I tried to run through fastboot boot recovery.img -OR- fastboot boot TWRP.img it bring the RED text mentioned that "this build is for development purposes only do not distribute outside of htc" and then get shut off.


The ROM I download PK78IMG_PRIMO_DD_ICS_40A_hTC_Asia_India_1.67.720.5 _Radio_1.10.50.0918_NV_NV_MFG_eMMC_India_1.14_09 from mediafire.com it installed successfully when I named it as PK78IMG.ZIP but after full installation when the Handset get On it shows Quite Brilliant icon and then in 5 sec gets shut off mobile and it never run automatically again till you now use power button again to press.

Made Lollipop Usable -> Disable Account Sync

Somehow over the weekend, thought about disabling the Account Sync, yeah, mail, chrome, keyboard, and my Nexus 7 with Lollipop is usable again! Faster access to Chrome and Keyboard especially!

Nothing else I have tried that I have found online works.

My tablet is not my main device, so its fine to manual sync a lot of things.

Hi I have a few questions about using a phone made for another neterwork (att) on tmo

Well in short I have an At&t Model GS4 the i337 its currently unlocked running on stock Nj4 and of course want to root it. First of all i suspect i need to use t mobile roms now that i am on that network.
Here is a list of questions and links are also appreciated as answers anything that helps!

First and foremost how should i root this (my last device was a G3) so if things are different please tell me also, I their an app or a thread you can point me to.
Secondly how do i update it to a v5.1 or the latest so updating them rom later is not a problem if i must use odin to do this (i want to use the latest to use odin the least)

Lastly anyone who can give directions on how to root and get to the latest version of android i wold greatly appreciate the time anyone spend to respond to this this post i TYIA

So any links that will work work with NJ4 I would be so happy I have only experience with the G3 I feel i know what to do with it but the Gs4 is new to me and i appreciate any help i receive/

Made a mistake when rooting, not sure if I can just pull battery and restart?

I was rooting with the method found here (https://www.reddit.com/r/lgg4/commen..._all_versions/) and I'm an idiot and forgot to copy the system image before doing the rest of the steps. I did all of the steps succesfully until running the command, at which point nothing happened obviously. is it safe for me to take battery out/reboot or no? i tried typing leave, and that didn't do anything.

Publishing an app with Android Studio made in Unity. Generate APK button faded.

I have made a game with the Unity Engine. Now that I have published the game to Google Play I have noticed that there are some permissions I don't want that unity adds by default. I want to remove them but Unity doesn't allow me to edit the AndroidManifest file.

I've been told to use Android Studio for that. I have no experience and have no idea how to use it. I have managed edited the android manifest to remove the permissions that I don't need, now I want to sign and publish the Apk from android studio, however there is a problem.

When I go to the Build menu the "Generate signed APK" button is disabled and faded out so I can't click it. What do I need to do in order to click this button, sign the app and upload it to the play store?

It may also be worth mentioning that the android section of the project view on the side shows no files, files are only shown after pressing "Project" in the top left drop down. I have no idea if this is normal due to lack of experience.

Modifications to external SD card made in TWRP disappear

I feel like I'm going crazy. I make a Nandroid backup in TWRP (via "fastboot boot twrp.img" not permanently installed) and the backup finishes, I verify that it is there with the TWRP file manager, and then *poof* at some point it disappears. I don't even have to reboot for it to disappear. If I use the USB mount to try to copy the backup off of the device before rebooting, while still under TWRP, it's gone. I tried to use the shell to copy a folder, and *poof* it also disappears. WHAT IS GOING ON!!?!?!?! It's as though the external sd card is mounted as read only but TWRP is just pretending it can write to it; I've seen that with NTFS. But is that what's going on here? And why?
