Need help with audio setup on SM-P600 Galaxy Note Tab

So I have a galaxy tab running on android 4.4.2

I need to be able to have a microphone plugged in using 3.5mm but still output to my bluetooth speakers. Is there a way to do this without rooting the device?

This tablet will be used to make Skype calls on a factory floor, so there are not any native bluetooth microphones that I can use that will keep the sound pollution out.

I can connect the speaker using 3.5mm as well (I have the y-splitter) but the higher-ups really want the speaker to be running on bluetooth.

Moto X Style (Pure) 2015 Audio Quality

Anybody have anything to offer regarding the audio (headphone output) of the 2015 Moto X Pure Edition (Style)?

I cannot find any detailed reviews or comparisons.

It seems that audio is handled by the Snapdragon 808, but I can't find concrete details of this area of this phone.

I ordered a MXPE seeking better quality audio than the Kyocera Hydro Wave (I know, I know...), but now I'm reading that some other phones have better audio quality using dedicated DACs from audiophile-name companies.

TIA...

USB Audio and Recording on the Tab S2 9.7 LTE and others. .....

Hi there,

I don't trust my tired eyes,as I saw on Samsung store, that Soundcamp is available again for tab s2. And it works very fine. Very low latency on the instruments, wav export. But no quantize tool.

I tested my audio interfaces too. My guitar Rig US, no probs with amplitube. And my Native instruments komplete audio 6 works also fine. Great.

But again, there is no charging and USB support possible at the same time. So, the time, to work with your interface is as long, the battery works.

OK, the battery is very good, but why, the hell is the problem to do 1 pin more ob the USB port to charge at same time as using? Or a separate charging port? Or USB? Or whateverelsei****inwanttoworklikeanotebookwithit ?

Tomorrow I get from davy from the programmers team of "Audio evolution",in my eyes the best daw for android, a new test version, with a drum pattern editor and much others news to test.

Audio recording comes step by step to android, and the latency problems are even lower since android 5.0 . But more tools are needed, and the Samsung professional audio isn't the right way to go. OK, for Samsung apps,it's ink, and it works well on Soundcamp without any interface. But for developers,it's isn't attractive to use a sdk (that Samsung offers on their site for developers) ,that only supports one devices brand, and this only, if it's running Android 5+ .

Audio evolution got their own drivers, that support over 300 interfaces and devices. But unfortunately , it don't work as good on Samsung, latency get low enough to work without an interface, if you want to use the virtual instruments. .....

Maybe the programmers see any chance to promise optimize it more for this device. It have enough power to do audio recording on the way. ......

Do anyone also want to recording audio? What are you'r experience?

Audio issue.

Good morning, folks!

I realized that when pausing a song or video , the sound has a "delay " to disappear from headphones , 4 seconds to silence , which does not happen when I use the radio because , to stop listening there is no " pause" you turn off the application , cutting the audio directly. This is normal? It happens in the cell of you ?
Thank you!

Audio issue - please help

I just bought the note 5 from tmobile 4 days ago. It's an amazing phone, however I am having an issue with the audio. I'm not sure if it's something internal or if my earphones are broken. Basically when I play music through my earphones, the song plays normally. But at random moments I can hear random noises. The noises come in at random moments in the song.

I noticed this pretty soon, but didn't make much of it at first. Now, on my bus ride to school it's finally gotten to a point where I can't take it. The music gets warped for like a millisecond, but that happening multiple times in a song just got a bit too much.

I have not checked if this happens when using the speakers or using another pair of earphones. I'm using the pair that came in the box. As I said I'm on the bus, so I can't blast music through my speakers. However I was playing music yesterday through speakers in my room and now that I think about it I didn't notice any warping. When I get to school I'll borrow someone's earphones to see if my pair is just broken.

But yeah are any of you having this problem? It's a big deal cause I listen to music a lot through my earphones.

Note 5 and Car Audio System

I have a 2015 Ford Focus ST with Nav and the Sync system. I cannot get the Note 5 to play audio over USB or BlueTooth. I can get audio over USB and BT on my iPhone 6 and an older Nexus 5 I have.

Does anyone know where the USB and BT settings are on the Note 5 so I can adjust them to get the Note 5 to work?

Non-sense rom with decent audio

The question is all in the thread title: is there a non-sense rom for the one m8 that has decent audio quality? It would be a pity to not being able to exploit the great sounding speakers of this phone (eithr with the boomsound or HK option), but I don't use sense as a home, so sense based roms are a bit clumsy if you don't use their features.
I'm currently running LeeDroid which is a great rom, but somehow I feel like going back to the simple AOSP roms!
Any suggestion?

Thanks

Hi guys, i wanna improve music on my Xperia SP (OS: CM12.1 ) Can you recommend any mod for it? For now i use Xperia Music with xperia stufff (clear audio etc.) but i think it can be better, and would be great if will be compatibile with it. I most listen dance music (Club, remixes etc.) If there will help i got headphones SONY MDR-NC31E. I would like reviews people who use X mod. I try Dolby digital plus and it's not for me also, viper4android can be but i think about mix mod with boom sound beats, something like that ;)

If someone serach EQ settings, maybe this one like it:

[APP] [ROOT] Viper4android Audio engine for Moto G3.

All you have to do is just follow this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto...-root-t2997005

Make sure you've downloaded the latest version (2.3.4.0 - That's the one I'm tested)
Make sure that your device is rooted, amd delete the AudioFX and any other Equalizers you previously installed.

Don't make any change in developer options for me its working flawlessly with/without changing NU player settings. But if you have any problem then tick "Use Awesome player instead of NUplayer" in developer options.

Credits to the original developers.

Note:
#Neither me nor the Original devs will responsible for any broken devices.
#Use it on your own.

Phone audio out of sync after installing cm 12.1

Can anyone help me its driving me nuts

Audio and Video Won't Play?

Hi, ever since I got my G928T I've been having an extremely strange problem where video and audio will not play (regardless of source). This means nothing out of the speakers , and in the case of YouTube, the video being frozen on the first frame.

I've done a factory firmware reset through Kies, and am now rooted running the new custom kernel released a few days ago. I also converted /system, /data, and /cache to f2fs.

However, regardless of what I do, the problem persists.
The only way I've been able to do anything about this problem is by placing a phone call and then ending it. I have no idea why, but this will always fix the audio and sometimes the video for a short period of time.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening? The times when the phone call doesn't fix it are extremely annoying; I practically run my life on my phone and the inability to play media isn't a good thing.

Thanks!

USB Audio on Note 5

Has anyone else tried using USB audio out on the Note 5, and if so, is it working for you? I've got a Fiio E18 and the audio is slow and garbled when playing out through the Note 5. Works great on Nexus 5 and PC so I'm assuming it's not the Fiio device.

Digital audio out over airplay (allstream)..

Hey guys

I'm currently experimenting with my htc and an Soundmate audio reciever to get an optical audio signal that a can connect to my audio processor I have installed in my car.

I'm using the allshare app to get the audiostream over airplay to the soundmate reciever.

It works well and I'm pleased with the solution.

But I have one question thou..
Does anyone know if the signal is transmitted before being encoded in the phones Dac or if it takes the bitstream after and sends it over the airplay?

Sorry for my bad English but I hope you understand my question

Regards

Joakim

Note Pro 12.2 USB / DAC Audio

Hi!

First, I'm not sure if this is the right place for this thread....

Okay, I have SM-P905 running stock rooted 4.4.2 TouchWiz rom. What I found is you can't (Or at least I couldnt :)) use USB DAC to get better audio out from tablet. With my Note 3 (SM-N9005) running also 4.4.2 TW USB audio did work.

I googled around for solution and compared audio_policy.conf files from both my devices, Note Pro and Note 3 and found some differences.

By editing audio_policy.conf on my Note Pro I got USB audio working so I thought to share it with you.

Go to /etc/ and open audio_policy.conf

Find this and add everything marked red, then reboot:

Code:

      usb_device {
        sampling_rates 44100|48000
        channel_masks dynamic
        formats AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_16_BIT
        devices AUDIO_DEVICE_OUT_USB_DEVICE|AUDIO_DEVICE_OUT_DGTL_DOCK_HEADSET

On channel_masks there will read AUDIO_CHANNEL_OUT_STEREO so just replace it like stated above.
Don't forget to add separator | to sampling_rates and devices

This did work for me, it might not for you, do this by your own risk. I'm not responsible for anything that happens to you or anything/anyone near you.

Remember to backup original file first and set permissions if needed!

Android 5 a.k.a Lollipop should support this by default (not sure since all my devices are running still KitKat).

Replace audio input on my S4 I9505

Hello,

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505 and my audio input where I put my headphones is broken.

I have no experience in replacing some elements of a device and so, I would like to know if someone know how I can replace audio input of my S4 ? Is it possible ? If yes, some links where I can buy component ?

Thanks for your help and your feedbacks.

Audio through headphones surprisingly good

I'm not going to lie. Coming from an iPhone and a Galaxy S6 (my Moto G is sort of an interim phone while I sell those two to afford new stuff this fall), I expected the Moto G to sound considerably worse. And yeah, it's not quite as good. But it's certainly far from the worst I've had and I've only owned expensive devices in the past. The bass is punchy, the treble is fairly decent, and the volume levels aren't awful (although I may increase mixer_paths at some point to gain a couple levels). I've actually been listening through fairly decent earbuds for the past 40 minutes or so to various types of music (alternative, acoustic, heavy stuff, rap) and I could definitely live with this sound quality if I had to.

It is pretty damn amazing what ~0 buys you today.

Bootanimation audio disable

Hi,

I have T-Mobile g4 that I unlocked and currently using with at&t. I replaced the bootanimation zip with a nexus version in systems/media folder which worked perfectly fine. How can I get rid of the audio though? Before, when I replaced the bootanimation zip alone, the audio stopped somehow. But I just flashed the 10N stock rom and changed the bootanimation, but im getting the tmobile audio. I looked for boot_audio.mp3 file in esfile manager and couldn't find or locate it anywhere to delete
