Hi there,
I don't trust my tired eyes,as I saw on Samsung store, that Soundcamp is available again for tab s2. And it works very fine. Very low latency on the instruments, wav export. But no quantize tool.
I tested my audio interfaces too. My guitar Rig US, no probs with amplitube. And my Native instruments komplete audio 6 works also fine. Great.
But again, there is no charging and USB support possible at the same time. So, the time, to work with your interface is as long, the battery works.
OK, the battery is very good, but why, the hell is the problem to do 1 pin more ob the USB port to charge at same time as using? Or a separate charging port? Or USB? Or whateverelsei****inwanttoworklikeanotebookwithit ?
Tomorrow I get from davy from the programmers team of "Audio evolution",in my eyes the best daw for android, a new test version, with a drum pattern editor and much others news to test.
Audio recording comes step by step to android, and the latency problems are even lower since android 5.0 . But more tools are needed, and the Samsung professional audio isn't the right way to go. OK, for Samsung apps,it's ink, and it works well on Soundcamp without any interface. But for developers,it's isn't attractive to use a sdk (that Samsung offers on their site for developers) ,that only supports one devices brand, and this only, if it's running Android 5+ .
Audio evolution got their own drivers, that support over 300 interfaces and devices. But unfortunately , it don't work as good on Samsung, latency get low enough to work without an interface, if you want to use the virtual instruments. .....
Maybe the programmers see any chance to promise optimize it more for this device. It have enough power to do audio recording on the way. ......
Do anyone also want to recording audio? What are you'r experience?
