Moto X Style vs. Pure UK LTE Band Compatibility

I'm considering picking up a Moto X Pure whilst on my travels to the US in a month's time, but will I be missing out given that the US model doesn't support 800MHz (Band 20) LTE? I intend to use the phone in the UK on Three who use 1800MHz (Band 3) and are now introducing 800MHz to improve indoor signal strength.

Buying in the US saves nearly £100 compared to the UK retail price, though I have noted that Clove and Handtec are offering preorders for slightly less than Moto direct...

Moto X Style Brazilian Dual Sim Edition - Can i choose which sim is used for data ?

As subject.

My current cell operator (Vivo) has good voice service but the data coverage is spotty. I'd like to purchase Claro's prepaid sim with data and use it's data as a second sim.

Can i force the device to use data from second sim and route all calls to the first sim ?

Moto X Style (Pure) 2015 Audio Quality

Anybody have anything to offer regarding the audio (headphone output) of the 2015 Moto X Pure Edition (Style)?

I cannot find any detailed reviews or comparisons.

It seems that audio is handled by the Snapdragon 808, but I can't find concrete details of this area of this phone.

I ordered a MXPE seeking better quality audio than the Kyocera Hydro Wave (I know, I know...), but now I'm reading that some other phones have better audio quality using dedicated DACs from audiophile-name companies.

Moto X Style (Pure) Miracast / Wireless Display Test

Just saw this, thought i should share, in case people are interested:

What you need:
Just a miracast adapter ( i use the tronsmart t1000)

Here are some simple instruction for how to set up:

choose any of tronsmart miracast adapter, power it on.

download the ezcast app from google play store on your MOTO X STYLE;

connect your wifi ssid to “ezcast******” in your wifi settings, and then run the EZCAST app in your phone, it will ask you to choose device to connect, and then it will ask you to set up the wifi connection , follow the instruction in the screen, finish the setup

click ezmirror and it will change our miracast adapter to miracast mode, and then , go to MOTO X STYLE settings, choose display, and choose “cast screen” and it will find our device, just click to connect.

[Q] Bootloader lock on US variant(s) of X Style?

Hi all :)
To put it short I'm trying to buy a Moto X Style from abroad, since the local Chinese variant might not be compatible with custom firmwares in the future.
Problem is, I've asked some resellers that claim to have the "US variant" for pre-order, but got the response that it has a bootloader lock that can't be unlocked. Before you ask, I know about the existence of Moto X Pure in the US, and understand that the Pure is easily unlockable, but it costs quite a premium here. I've also heard that there's *no* carrier variants of the X Style at all in the US, so it should be free from carrier influence.
So:
1) Is there a regular X Style alongside the Pure, or is there only the Pure on sale in the US?
2) If the answer to 1) is yes, is the Style's bootloader unlockable? If not, considering that there aren't carrier variants, why?

I wanted to know if there is any theme for cm12.1 roms like HTC UI ones. In my opinion it looks great and wanted to know if there exists a complete theme like htc lolipop ui for cm12 . And if not , a challange for you themers out there 😂
