No OS installed, don't know what region of firmware to download

So I tried to root my Samsung Galaxy S6 today using TWRP and it got stuck in a boot loop. I went to wipe to cache and accidentally wiped to system. So now there is no OS installed. I know I need to somehow put an OS on the device but I'm in Canada and when I go to samsung's site to download the firmware, there is no Canada option. I bought the phone off of amazon and it came with a European wall charger because it was imported, but how do I know what firmware to download?
Also, when I have found the right firmware, how do I flash it onto the device? I can no longer access TWRP, all I can get is the downloading screen thing. Can I use Odin/how do I use Odin?
Somebody help me I'm panicking because I broke my brand new phone!

Stuck in boot loop & No OS installed. NEED HELP!

I tried to root and flash a room onto my Sprint Note 4 (N910P) and ended up in a weird bootloop. No biggie I've done this before with my S3 and S4 and a few S6 Phones.
NOPE!! I have NO OS installed.

I would post photos but since I am new here I cant. I have TWRP intalled (v.2.8.7.0) and it says "No OS installed! Are you sure you wish to reboot?" I only wiped dalvik cache and regular cache. and factory reset per instructions for rom. (Rom that was being installed was AllianceROM©N910P

I was running on Android version 5.0.1 not the latest OTA 5.1.1 I didnt update it to that since I never had a good time with OTA's and rooting.

Any assistance would be helpful as i just got the phone and now I dont have a working one at all

Has anyone installed Xposed onto this phone while running 5.X?

I've been putting it off for a while now, but I feel like it's been in development on 5.X for long enough that I'm willing to take the risk, however The official thread seems to show a pretty wide variety of options for installs based on what processor is in the phone and tbh I just don't know which one to use.

Fastboot / TWRP installed, NO OS, NO USB access

I can boot in bootloader and recovery (TWRP 2.6.3.1), Win7 drivers+adb+fastboot are installed properly since I have 2 Nexus 5 and 1 is working fine (I can see the device with "fastboot devices").
There is NO OS installed, I can not connect via USB, and I can not mount the USB-OTG (tried with the working phone and it work fine).
In TRWP when try to reboot it tells me that "the device does not appear to be rooted" but the device has been rooted.
When it boot into the bootloaded, I have a window popping with the yellow triangle, than disapears, (USB device not recognized)
There is nothing in the device manager.
In bootloader I have: variant D820H, HW rev: rev_11, bootloader:HHZ12h, secure boot:enabled,Lock state:unlocked

How do I revive the phone to transfer a rom since I can not use USB-OTG or USB connection, is there a cmd I can run on the phone via terminal to enable the USB (/data is empty).

How to Root a G2 which has TWRP installed?

I'm a beginner and I would be grateful if you could help me with this.

While trying to install CyanogenMod, I rooted my G2 using ioroot and then install Autorec. At this point I made a mistake and recover KitKat stock with Autorec, loosing root privileges. Now when I try to root using ioroot, the device shows me the TWRP menu.

I am stuck here. How could I root and install CyanogenMod????

How long does the prerooted FW take to get installed?

I got an issue with my Z00A, I rooted it, installed twrp, unlocked bootloader and installed cm12.1. Last night the phone rebooted, I don´t know why, and became stuck into the boot Screen. I tried to Flash the pre rooted fw then, but it also got stuck at the Screen during the first start. How Long does the first start take? longest time I waited was about 20 min.

Nexus 5 OS not installed TWRP, Trying to unroot

Hey guys, so I've rooted my phone a couple of times and everything's worked fine. I have a rooted Nexus 5, and I screwed around with it too much, anyway all I wanted to do was to reset it to factory condition and unroot it.
I screwed up, and I erased the OS, and TWRP says "No OS installed, do you want to reboot?". I've done this before and, I've used the ADB sideload method to reset it, so naturally I decided to do it again and followed the steps from this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2559200. Unfortunately this time when I got to step 12, it didn't list my device, and when I continued to step 13 it said, "error: device '(null)' not found". I've redownloaded the usb driver for the nexus but nothing seems to be working.

Hi all, I would just let know (I don't have yet 10 post to write this in the proper section), that this combination failed miserably.. It look like the two packages are compatible but in the end I had an error on the first boot.

OF1 OTA Ninja Installed and Now I'm Stuck!

I had OC1 on my S4. I was rooted with King Root. Everything was working fine.

I kept getting software update messages the past few weeks but I've been avoiding them because I have been very busy.

But tonight it ninja installed: without me even knowing about it. I had it locked for a long time and then I went to unlock it and it shut-down to install the update. I panicked but I was too scared to pull the battery and potentially brick the phone.

So now all it does it claim that Android is updating and it sometimes shows the top information bar. That's it. Battery pulls and what-not do nothing and I didn't Ti Backup everything yet from that OC1 install a few months ago. Should I just forget about everything I can't get from the memory card or is there a way to fix it without erasing everything?

Moving installed apps and data over to a new Shield quesitons

I'm getting a new Shield Portable and wanted to know what is the best and easiest way to move all of my installed apps, emulators and such over to the new one? I was just going to copy the folders over to the new one but I'm sure there will be problems. Also I am not rooted.

I have apps installed on the device, but I've also had the OS move some of the installs over to the external SD card to save storage, so I was certain just copying them will cause issues with updates and stuff, but I don't know for sure.

Also I have emulators installed as well and then moved them over to the external SD card.

I know the roms will be ok as they're not installed and just sitting on the external SD card.

Is there an easy way to move all of this stuff over? Any apps that would help with this? Anything?

I bought SM-G9287 international version(not sure which country it belongs to) from ebay and i dont see samsung pay app in it.

Can anyone confirm if you have bought SM-G9287 see samsung pay app on it? I am assummng that it should be installed but we can only use it after Sep 28 when it officially launched. Correct em if i am wrong.

My rom is stock rom and i installed it on system/apps and gave the rw r r permissions to it.
But i can't start it: "Unfortunately, Music Player has stopped."

However, each time I try, it just boots me in TWRP and nothing applied... anything I can do?

Installed TWRP but can only reboot to stock android recovery?

Ummed and ahh'd over whether to fiddle with my tablet (P600) on KitKat firmware, as I'm new to all this. Took the plunge and installed TWRP first (saw some posts here where rebooting TWRP was an easy way of rooting as well) and can't get it to boot to the TWRP menu.

I used to Odin to flash it and unticked reboot as advised on these forums. I have tried several times now to boot up holding down the volume up and power buttons but it always goes to stock android recovery.

I used TWRP 2.8.5.0 as several posts here mentioned that it installed ok. I got the green success message but now I'm stuck. Knox is now on 1 so something has flashed somewhere?

app not installed

i am on stock lollipop not4 with no root access and custom recovery or kernel
last week my phone was rooted and i downloaded modern combat 4 , instagram+ ,and some other apps
unfortunately some of them was modded and cracked so run them without problem
Now when i try to install some of them like insta+ and MC4 it says "app not installed"
i redownload them from other sources but no chance
any idea how to solve this without ROOT:rolleyes:

How to get GAPPS installed on Redmi Note 2

Well, after ROM hassles, TWRP hassles and most important of all, GAPPS hassles, I finally got the bastard working.

I tried literally a dozen different ways and zip files, poring over thread for the better part of an entire day, but finally the instruction on this thread, worked on my RN2: http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=118691

I installed the four .APK files and rebooted. I was able to login to the play store (first time after like 15 attempts to get this working) and not only that, I was able to download an app I previously purchased.

So much simpler in the end, than any other method via recovery and so forth. My phone isn't rooted yet, that wasn't an issue either.

Samsung pay - beta invite, installed

Got my acceptance to the beta today and set up Samsung Pay with my debit card.
Just used it at a local pizza shop and it was wicked fast.

Little confusing though on what you need to do.
I fingerprint activated my card to pay, held it up against the terminal and it was slowly vibrating. The payment receipt printed immediately but I wasn't sure when to release the phone.

I think it's just a tap and release thing. So I will try that next time.

It's awesome. Since I can't use Google wallet on here, I'll take it!
Works on ALL types of terminals.. [emoji4]

It also puts a tiny little bar at the very bottom of your screen so you can just swipe up and it will display your card immediately for you to use.
Interesting to see how much battery this uses throughout the day. I didn't see a way to disable that.
