Knock on not working after "Device test" in hidden menu [D802]

It's been always like that.
Whenever I press "Device test" in the hidden menu, the device gets semi-stuck (not really.. because when I press the home button it exits) and I lose my knock on (both when screen on and off).
I forgot about it and pressed on it again.
My last nandroid backup is pretty old...

What should I try?
Ofc I tried the hidden menu touch firmware upgrade.. Didn't work.

Samsung galaxy s2 no power menu and no lock screen Problem SOLVED

Root your device then open root folder with x - plore app after that go to following directory
efc / imei
Create a file named "Keystr"
Openfile as text and write " ON " Save the file
Tap and hold the file a menu will pop up click on permission
First deselect all boxes and click ok
Again go to permission and select all boxes under read write column click ok
Go to settings > lock screen
Re - enable Lock instantly with power button option.

Network Lock Menu via Service Menu

Does anyone know how to get to the network control via the service menu on the ATT note 4?
I know *#197328640#. will open the Debug Screen, Im not sure how to get to the Phone Control, then Network
Lock and then the options menu.

Is it not a option at all?

ADB Push from TWRP menu, is this possible?

I want to do a complete sdcard wipe and then push my TWRP backup to the Fire Phone, (I have a lot of junk files from going back and forth with ROMs). Anyone know if this is possible? When in Sideload from TWRP menu, when I try to Push, I get "error: closed"

Disable power button menu and volume keys when screen is locked

Hi,
I installed an anti-theft tracking app on my phone but I can't disable the "airplane mode, sound, reboot, shutdown" menu (that appears when you long-press the power button) and the volume rocker, when the device is locked but the screen is on... so anyone can just shutdown my phone or mute the ringtone or put it in airplane mode and that makes the tracking app useless.

I tried using "Smart lockscreen protector" by nez droid but it doesn't work.

Is there a way to disable these "features"?

Has anyone seen a way to swap the soft Nav buttons around yet via Xposed or any other route? Also anyway to add a quick menu on the bottom right like the Euphoria Rom has for the Nexus 6?

Network lock menu from service mode?

Does anyone know how to get to the network lock from the service more for a sm910a?
i bought a unlock code from the celluar unlock.net..failed...didnt get any PUK error so all good there
ive tried numerious ways of entering the defreeze code and call that still failed... now they want me to do a factory reset and i dont want to do that just yet...

The following code brought up the network unlock prompt #7465625*638*# tells me unlock cone is sucessful


im trying to get to the network lock function through the service menu. Ive tried :
· Dial *#197328640#
· Press the Menu > Back > Menu
· Open the Key input and enter 1, then press OK
· Press Menu > Back
· Press UMTS > Debug Screen > Phone Control > Network Lock
· Press Options > Perso SHA256 OFF
· Press Menu > Back
· Press COMMON > NW Lock NV Data INITIALLIZ
· Your Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is now SIM unlocked

None of that above gets me there:


This takes me to the debug screen but from there I cant get to the network lock:
Do the same for *#197328640#. That will open the Debug Screen.

One thing I havent tried is because the phone is ATT but I have it on a Straight Talk SIM for the BYOP is to go into the APN settings and switch it from the Straight talk APN settings to the ATT Nextgenphone option and then prompt to do the sim there... NEVERMIND DID THAT AND IT FAILED

Ive read place online to unlock it via usb cable but it says it wipes the data so im wondering how that works
might have to see if there is any option for KIES.....
.....no wonder why people already buy them unlocked...

Pull down menu

Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to turn off the two sided pull down menu. Right now if I pull it down from the right side it goes straight to the wifi/bluetooth/airplane etc options. I know on my OPO i could turn it off but I can't seem to find that setting on my OPT.

Hey guys I checked all 5 pages in here for a thread about this but didn't find one. Does anyone know how to get into the secret menu on VZW? I want to turn fast dormancy off since I hear it helps save a lot of battery life. If anyone knows please share!

Delete menu shortcuts

I delete some system apps for example Google plus, youtube, maps. I used titanium backup for this. But now I still have the shortcuts in the menu

No bootloader MENU

Hello XDA I have a zenfone 2 yesturday it was fine but today when I go to access bootloader menu it takes me right into my twrp recovery and am not sure what to do or how to fix it?

Was wondering if anyone knew dialer codes for this phone? In particular I'm trying to try and force Band 4. At home my phone keeps jumping back and forth between band 4 and 12 and band 4 is much faster .

Every time I enter settings meny and swipe down quick it lags a bit,also this happens on my brothers Z3...any way to fix this?

Does anybody know how to add the Advanced power menu (i.e. the multiplw reboot options) to rooted standard rom?

I am interested in roms up to B135 for P7-L10.

The Xposed framework, even old versions, interfers with the ui.

Is there a good theme with a different menu icon?

I hate how the menu/all apps icon looks on the 5.0.2 update of my xperia z1. Even though you can find it, i don't wanna use the lollipop icon either.

So is there a theme with a different, nice all apps icon? I also want it to look good and not change my navbar.

Notification Menu Lag

Whenever I receive a text or Google hangouts message, I normally pull down the notification Menu and tap the message to take me to the chat (within Google hangouts app). I've noticed when accessing a message from the notification panel, there is very long lag/delay until the actually message opens up. Anyone know what might be causing this ?

No menu button in sideloaded apps?

Is there a solution to this? Maybe remapping a button on the controller? I know there is a pretty simple way to do this in Kodi, but I need to make this work in other apps, such as emulators. How will I be able to manage settings and options without it?

Xda app no menu button

Ok so i got my edge plus yesterday. Been using the regular s6 for a few months now and in the xda app there is a actual menu button with 3 dots that kinda hovers down at the bottom. Well on my plus it isnt there. Cant figure out how to being up the menu. If i hold back with a longpress it just starts backing out. Holding home brings up google now. And holding the task brings up multiwindow.

My problem is i cant bring up the menu to create a new thread. Thats why im posting this on my s6 rather than my edge.

Is it something simple im just overlooking?
