Restoring DRM keys / Warranty Claim

Hi there,

The headphone port on my Z3c has decided to start dying on me/being really loose about 2 weeks after I decided to unlock it all :/

I have returned the phone to complete threeUK stock 23.4.A.0.546 D5803 & relocked the bootloader, How do I go about restoring my drm keys from here? I made a back up of the keys when I first got the phone, I have tried launching TA-backup but it doesn't give me the option to restore them.

Disable power button menu and volume keys when screen is locked

Hi,
I installed an anti-theft tracking app on my phone but I can't disable the "airplane mode, sound, reboot, shutdown" menu (that appears when you long-press the power button) and the volume rocker, when the device is locked but the screen is on... so anyone can just shutdown my phone or mute the ringtone or put it in airplane mode and that makes the tracking app useless.

I tried using "Smart lockscreen protector" by nez droid but it doesn't work.

Is there a way to disable these "features"?

Is there any way to remove the soft keys on Sony Xperia Z3 D6603?

I prefer to use Gestures with All in one gestures.

Navigation keys when keyboard is enabled

Is there a way to disable the soft keys when the keyboard is in use ? External desktop does not take.

Disable Volume Keys

My phone ( Micromax Canvas 2.2 - Android v4.2.2 - Rooted ) fell off from table and volume side keys got damaged. Now it is malfunctioning which causes in silencing every volume related functions. Now I m using "Volume Lock and Control" 3rd party application to avoid change in volume but volume panel screws everything. Using "Gravity Box" i made volume panel transparent but touch is still the issue. I want to disable my physical volume keys. Help appreciated.

DRM keys, worth losing or not?

This post over at the recovery/kernel dev thread seems to suggest that locked bootloader root and recovery might actually be impossible to achieve on the Z3+, so I've started to consider unlocking, having previously been adamant about not doing it. Losing the DRM keys is what prevents me, though.

Does anyone have a full list of lost features that go with the keys? I'm aware of some camera stuff, the Bravia engine, and noise cancellation.

Also, some users have reported at least partial restoration of DRM functions (not keys!) on previous Z devices, is that/will that be possible on the 3+?

Disabling or closing soft keys on specific applications

Is it possible to disable or cloae the soft keys on certain applications? I've seen methods of disabling them altogether. While playing certain games they're closed but while playing others they're still on the screen.

Remap hardware keys?

So I'm specifically looking to remap the long-press of the home button to the "SEARCH" function, and simply select the Google app. I tried it successfully with the camera button, just changed it from "INFO" to "SEARCH". But that was just to test. I want to remap the long press of the home button but I cannot figure out how to do it. I'm using 4.6.4, rooted via KingRoot. I am editing the "gpio-keys.kl" file, located in /system/usr/keylayout, and here are the contents of the file:

How to get back the DRM keys if i missed out to take backup and proceed to unlocking.

Soft keys on TW ROMs?

Apologies if this has been addressed already, but is there any straightforward way of enabling soft navigation keys and disabling hard keys in Touchwiz ROMs?

Give us the KEYS to Kingroot..............

Personally I would give the root bounty to Kingroot if they gave us the keys so we could root without having to be connected to the internet.
Root on Demand, even if it is temporary is better than permanent root in some respects.
If we had permanent root some of the phones features would stop working like My Knox Security and Samsung pay and some others apps won't work with root but they will work with Kingroot.
The two problems I see with Kingroot are First, Security, we don't know what information we are sharing with them. I don't like being connected to their server with a rooted phone.. And second, Reliability, they could shut the whole system down any time they get ready and we would have no recourse.
If the Kingroot team would give us the keys and the source code so we could understand how to roots our own phones, I would agree to give them the bounty. I only speak for myself and do not represent anyone connected to the Root Bounty for the Verizon Note 4 on XDA.

Which roms have remappable back and menu keys?

Some lollipop (and kitkat) roms allow you to easily remap the back and menu keys. I like to have both keys set to back on short press and menu on long press. I know that Omnirom, Slim Saber, and Dirty Unicorns have it. Are there any other Lollipop roms with this feature? I have used many roms without this feature and remap both keys to back in generic.kl and use button savior to have a menu key, but that's a hassle. TIA for any suggestions!
