Booting without a display

Hi,
I´m not sure if this is the right forum for my question, but i´m searching for days and no one was able to help me.

I want to boot my android smartphone (xperia p) with an unplugged display.
Unfortunately, the device won´t boot when the screen is physically not connected. When I disconnect the screen when the phone has already booted, everything is fine and I still get a picture via hdmi out.
There seems to be something like a "hardware-check" right at the beginning, and I want to deactivate it.
The smartphone is rooted.

I would be very thankful if someone could help me with this.
Sorry if there might be some language mistakes, I´m german.

Lenovo A6000 Not Booting

I Was trying to root my device but accidently executed the following command
fastboot flash boot recovery.img
After this my device doesnt start it just stays in the initial screen with android logo and lenovo logo.
Please Help Me out .

booting probleme

hey guys i just update my s3 gti9300 to cyanogenmod 12 android 5.0.2 and it worked very good but my root was deleted .
when i root it back it stucks in the booting logo and iv tried to install another firmwar and it not working it says ' signature verification failed ' iv root it again and nothing also i louse my CWM and it woudn't reinstalle if u have any idea please help me :(:confused::crying::crying::crying::(

Help booting

So I flashed ozop rom onto my s6..
When i try to reboot back into TWRP, I get these errors
"Custom binary blocked by FRP Lock"
it wont even boot back into Android

did I brick my phone? and how can i resolve this without loosing everything on my phone

note 4 SM-N910F stuck on recovery booting...

Please if someone can help me , few days ago i updated my galaxy note 4 SM_N910F
to 5.1.1 using Odin everything was working fine but after 5days i rebooted the fone bcz it was starting to freez the fone refuse to start it was displaying samsung logo and " recovery booting.... " on the top left corner and keep rebooting and stuck on that. I tried to enter recovery mode in vain also try to flash it via odin with different roms still not working. (the fone is not rooted)
I dont know what to do now Please help me

[HELP] S6 Edge stuck on booting animation

So my battery was dying, like at 10%, and I then went ahead to activate Ultra Power Saving Mode.
Instead of it going right into UPSM, it went into this screen that said that the theme I had isn't compatible with UPSM, so it went ahead and try apply the default theme.

It got to 100% and got stuck there for 20 minutes, so I thought something went wrong. Instinct told me to just restart to see if that will fix it.

It did, but the main UPSM homescreen isn't loaded, and the Disable UPSM notification wasn't present, so I couldn't back out.

I did another restart, hoping that would fix things,
but apparently that was the last time I'll ever get to boot into the phone.

Right now, I'm just stuck on the Samsung booting animation. It's been there for an hour now.

Please, any ideas on how to fix without costing a factory reset? :( :confused:

[HELP!] Not booting after stagefright update!

Hi guys, can somebody help me? I received the stagefright update this morning and after downloading it and rebooting, the phone stopped working. It shows the logo animation for a few seconds then the screen goes black. It's a rooted and unlocked phone so i don't know if thats the cause. Also, i can access the recovery mode pressing power and down. Other than that nothing. :confused:

Help! Bootloop / Booting failed

My friend asked me to fix his Nexus 7.

I've never tried fixing one of these from boot loop's ect so I need help.

All I get is the Google logo then the volume buttons to start/restart/recover ect ..
Whichever I press I get a small message in the corner saying "booting failed"

As you can see from the image below, I can get into this screen.



I've tried the Nexus Root Toolkit but I keep getting errors,
I have also watched hours of video's and read thousands of lines of tutorials on how to fix it, but obviously I can't !

So, any help/guidance is highly appreciated !

Recover the Y01 battery SHIELD Tablet (old) after booting the B01 battery one (new)

Hello everybody. My name is Victor, and, if you were affected by the NVIDIA Recall Program, and you recieved the new tablet, you should know that the old tablet is deactivated (I mean, if you try to open it, Black Screen appears, and only the power menu appears (or at least, this happens to me).
Well, I've made some research, and found a way to Re-Activare the old tablet, making both Tablets useful.
The steps I made are the following:

ROOT AND UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER NEEDED

1. Change the old Tablet IMEI (random one) vía FastBoot.

And then, to make sure the IMEI has changed, write:

(I was unable to see the IMEI, but I keeped going on the process.
2. Download the Factory/Recovery Image of your SHIELD variant (which can be found here:

3. Install the Factory/Recovery Image using FastBoot and the following code:

(I personally prefer unzipping the Images to the FastBoot folder to avoid {dir}/)
4. Click Power Button on the Tablet pointing "Continue" on the Fastboot Menu on the Tablet Screen (if is not pointing, use volume keys to select it).

And, if the process is done correctly, the Tablet (old one) should boot up at the Initial Set-Up Screen (to make sure both tablets will be active, I recommend having the new Tablet On).

And this process has made me able to use my old tablet as I used to use it.

Phone not booting after OTA

So today I got an update for a new firmware, it was a small 125 mb patch, no big deal. I downloaded it and installed it a couple of hours later, I leave it to install and when I'm back my phone is frozen on the Motorola logo and the "Powered by android" text written below, but it won't get past that. I left it for almost an hour and it won't boot, I tried forcing a reboot and it gets me back to the same screen.
Is there any way I could fix it, preferably while keeping my data? Especially the what's app gallery.
Thanks a lot guys, I'm kinda panicking here.

Ps. I'm not rooted, everything is completely stock.

Samsung galaxy s3 not booting after being flashed by a rom

Model : Samsung galaxy s3 GT19300

I was using s5 sensation rom for my s3 gt19300 but was facing some problems. So i swithed to Glamour s5. The flashing process was successfully done (i wiped all cache,dalviks cache). Now when i start the phone the samsung logo appears and then the screen remains blank. Now i cant start my phone. Tried flashing the same file several times yet no progress( phone can start in recovery mode). Now i dont have any backup of the previous roms on my phone and cannot access phones internal memory as phone is not starting up. * Is there any way by which i can paste the previous rom on my phones internal memory and flash that? Or any other process using odin or anything so that i can get my phone back:crying:*

Tried various times by removing battery for a long time and flasing again and clearing cache and dalviks cache.

Any way to read phoneinternal memory on PC in recovery mode to paste the previous rom file.

Lenovo K3 note problems booting

Hello
I recently purchased a lenovo k3 note, but it came without any internet browser or gapps. I decided to root the phone and to change the rom. I did both, using the official thread for rooting and i choose the official Lenovo K50-T5 update 1536 (found it on needrom)
Unfortunately, when the phone boot up, i have an error message wich says : unfortunalety, WLAN has stopped. And i can't go any further. I wanted to change the rom again but my recovery changed too, as CWM has been replaced by Lenovo-Recovery. I tried to root the phone again but it doesn't work (i supposed the USB debugging is off and i can't change it)
Any solutions ? Thx

Galaxy nexus not booting up

Hi,

I had installed custom ROM developer by @Ziyan 5.1.1. I believe it was AOSP (ROM link) around 5-6 months back. Everything was working correctly.

Last friday night it switched off and since, then it hasn't started up yet. Sometimes the home screen comes but it immediately reboots. It is continuously rebooting and i have to remove the battery from stopping itself from rebooting.

I tried going back to official stock rom 4.3 and used the command fastboot -w flashall and everything happened correctly..atleast that's what it said on the command prompt but it still the phone tries to boot up the 5.1.1 version. It's been a week and i haven't been able to get past this issue. I gave it in the service centre but even they haven't been able to get past the issue.

What issue are you guys suspecting ? Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Secure booting Error!

So I was trying to install TWRP on my freshly rooted V500 5.0 korean kdz, followed the steps exactly and I tried to reboot to recovery and got the
Secure booting Error!
Cause: boot certification verify

Reading through a few other threads, I tried going into download mode and upgrade recovery through the LG mobile support tool, but that says no items to upgrade. Now, my tablet will not boot up past the error screen and I'm having no luck finding any way to get it booting. Any ideas? Thank you in advance for any help!!

now my phone is stuck in the "samsung galaxy S3" screen since ages. Anyone has the md5 number for that file?
I don't know why is not working, during the installation everything was good.

XT1033 stuck on bootloader unlocked loop, only booting if connected to pc

well my xt1033 had been behaving a little sluggish as of late so I cleared cache from recovery still that didn't do the device any good.
But since the past 2 days I have a new problem with the device, the device will randomly hang and will be stuck at the "bootloader unlocked" screen, it will go into recovery but the same screen will appear if I select any option.

For now , when I connect it with the usb cable to my pc(which has all drivers) it automatically boots without having to dp anything on pc or the device.

model: xt1033 (moto g 1st gen asia)
stock android 5.0.2 (updated OTA)
bootloader unlocked and rooted.

Weird booting screen and bootloop

Hey guys I need some assistance. Attached are photos of how my One Plus One is currently booting up and after that weird rotating symbol the screen turns black with a dim light. Can you all please help, the only recent thing I did was install a dark theme.

Help! Htc Wildfire S Not booting up Blinking Orange LED

Hi Guys so a few months ago i had flashed cm9 touchwizz rom on my wildfire s and the battery got drained so as nobody was using the phone i left it in a container for a couple of months now i want to go on it again and flash WFS11 Kitkat rom but when i put the charger in a orange led blinks and below that is a red light and if i leave it there for about a minute it will boot to the white htc screen and then it will turn off again and the blinking stops what do i do ???

S4 Active i537 not booting

So, I am in desperate need of help. I tried updating from the 4.4.2 NH3 firmware to the newest Lollipop OC7 firmware using the provided method (which was through the app). All was going well until my phone rebooted and instead of continuing the update process it booted into recovery. The phone's up volume key is broken, so it is always causing the phone to boot into recovery if I do not hold the volume down key. When I make it past the samsung screen, all that happens after that is a blank screen. Booting into recovery tells me that the recovery version is i537UCUCOC7. Any help is much appreciated.
