Hi Everyone,
I apologize if this has been discussed in the forums already: I did a search in the forums and couldn't really find a topic surrounding a bluetooth battery drain on 24B. First off, let me start by saying that I am on stock, unrooted 24B. When I upgraded to LP from KK I did a factory reset that is proper for doing a major OS upgrade. Everything was working smoothly for the most part and I had decent battery life until a couple of weeks ago. Out of no where, my battery life started to deteriorate and I quickly noticed that Android OS had climbed up the charts of battery usage to #1. It easily takes up 30% of my battery life in the stats.
If I toggle Bluetooth off, then the battery drain goes away and Andoid OS returns to normal percentage ~8%. I've tried unpairing all of my bluetooth devices but that did not correct the issue. I also tried clearing cache in recovery to no avail. Does anyone else have these issues? Any way to remedy this other than just leave bluetooth off all day? (Rooting and ROM'ing is not an option for me, due to work email application policy preventing rooted system) Thanks!
