I am an experienced developer, but a noob in mobile development. I got impatient and unwittingly bought a retail version of the Galaxy S5 with the BOG5 Android update. huuuuge mistake. :crying: So I can't develop with elevated privileges on this phone.
So...is there a way to run Android 5 as a *virtual image* on top of the base OS of the phone? Is there an equivalent of VMWare for Android? For example on my OSX Yosemite laptop I am very happy with VMWare Fusion Pro, I have virtual images of Windows 7/8/10, Fedora, CentOS, and Ubuntu.
