Hello all xda developers,
months ago my son (17 years old) modified my cell phone to install a couple of mods (gaming). Now, on August 15 my phone started to give some problems in catching the line, I mean, I can use internet or whatsapp but I can't use voice in incoming and outgoing, first I went to the Samsung Italia assistance and they said that the cell was blocked by an operator (we're in Italy), the cell has a WIND brand so I call the Wind and in fact it was blocked by mistake by them, so they removed the block, but it continues on his problem, no line, I mean, almost no line, sometimes it works sometimes not. So, I went again to the Samsung assistance, and a couple of days later they replied saying that the kernel count is now at 1 and this is a proof that it has been "rooted", in final they asked me almost 0 to change the mother board and resume the warrant.
I really don't care about warrant, I just want to re-set (if possible) my cell and hoping it will start working again, or do a "real" root but I don't know how/where/what to start.... Any help would be much appreciated.
