I am installing my Nexus 7 into my 2009 Dodge RAM 1500 QuadCab. I have component speakers in all the doors (four channels total,) and my tweeters and subs are sharing a channel (split with crossovers) - which all runs to my five channel amp. My question is how to get the best sound from my Nexus 7 to my car amp.
I will be using a USB DAC, but that still only outputs two channels and I need those two channels to somehow turn into five or six. I'd prefer not to use an EQ, and all the line drivers I've found with six channel output also have six channel input. Is there some sort of audiophile custom sound board out there made for these applications? I REALLY don't want to have to use Y splitters.
