[ASUS ME176C/X] List of Bloatware/Services safe to remove/disable

this list may not be complete, you can help me improving it if you want

=== Safe to remove (free up some space) ===

The following list contains app which are safe to remove to free up some space in the rom.
You can gain some hundred megabytes of free space by removing this apps from the system.

• Gmail (2 mail apps are unnecessary)


• Google+ (how the hell uses G+ anyways)


• Zinio (some random magazine app)


• Amazon Kindle (good reader app, but way to huge for a system app ~100MB)


• Omlet Chat


• Bbbler Actors for Omlet (comes with latest OTA update)


• Flipboard


• Facebook (need it? install it as a user app. needs too much space)

=== Safe to disable (remove at your own risk) ===

The following list contains background processes and services which are safe to disable.

• CMService & DMService (get rid of OTA update notifications and reduce network usage)


• Bubbles (if you don't care about live wallpapers disable it)

CAUTION: always make a backup before you remove a app in case you want to restore it later not all apps are available on the play store!
