[Q] There's a Toolkit for ASUS Zenfone Can Flash Without Battery ?

I hope someone know a toolkit with work without battery like "SP Flash Tool", but this tool not working for intel chipset.
my zenfone totally brick, can't enter droidboot, can't enter system, can't enter recovery, just stuck on Intel Logo to dead end. So bad :crying:

ASUS ZenFone 5 A500KL, stuck at boot

Hi everyone. I was using my Zenfone 5 and all of a sudden i got "AUSU Launcher has stopped working" message that i wasn't able to dismiss (It flashed around 20 times) and my phone turned off. When i turned it back on it didn't go past "ASUS in search of incredible" loading screen. I entered recovery and wiped cache along with factory reset. Got bunch of E can't mount error messages and whole process failed. Tried to boot device again without success. What are my options? Phone is on 4.4.2, WW version, stock, non rooted.

They are up to 17 themes now, some better than others of course, but it is a nice effort anyway. I am using the Dragon Dynasty theme now - think it looks really good and makes my zenfone stand out from all the iphones and xperia that I see most people using here in Japan. One thing I would like ASUS to add is the ability to have more control over which aspects of the theme you want to use - wallpaper (home and lock), app drawer button and page dots, icons, notification shade and quuck settings. Some of the themes have some nice wallpapers or icons, but nit so good in other aspects.

Asus, zenfone 2 vibrating itself

Hey, my ASUS vibrating twice and screen is turning on, but with no notifications... it never happened at home when mobile is on table. Always, when i am outside house and keep mobile in a pocket. From time to time is vibrating, then I pull out from pocket, screen is on, and that all, what it can be?, I am on stock Rom

[Q] Asus Zenfone 2 Bricked with USB Debugging Off

Hi All,

My Asus Zenfone 2 seems bricked while trying to Wipe Cache.

I started the phone in recovery mode and tried to Wipe Cache - I made sure that the battery was above 50% (56% to be precise) before this process however, the phone got switched off while the cache was being cleared. When I tried to restart the phone, it would just show a blinking Driod image.

As I never thought of rooting or flashing my phone, I have not enabled the USB Debugging mode.

I have tried all the options to download the Asus / ADB drivers and try clearing the cache using the fastboot erase cache, however my issue is that adb is unable to detect my phone due to USB Debugging being off.

Can someone please help me if there is any way to clear my cache on my phone with the USB Debugging currently being off.

Asus zenfone 2 won't start:(.....

Hello, My Asus won't start... I have stock rom with root, i tried to apply OTA without unroot. Now my device showing only fastboot mode. I can choose: normal boot, restart bootloader, recovery mode. But after i select, device is restarting and still same fastboot mode.... Can't go into stock recovery mode:(. I can instal temporary cwm, then i can restore my backups, but after restore still same problem.. Plesase guys, what to do now?

Can I upgrade my rooted Asus ZF5 to Android L manually?

I couldn't root my zenfone 5 when it was lollipop . Then I downgraded to 4.4.2 and rooted successfully . When my phone was unrooted I upgraded from kitkat to lollipop by downloading zf5 official lollipop firmware from their website and pasting it into internal storage . Then it updated by itself. But now my phone is rooted kitkat . If I do the same process for upgrading I mean if I paste that lollipop firmware again into internal storage will it be upgraded? I want to upgrade and as well as root . What should I do? Thanks in advance .

After the recent update of ASUS Dialer & Contacts, it said change phone app icons. (As seen in the image!) Where to change them from? I don't see any icon change option under settings.

Stuck on asus logo after official OTA update

No idea what went "wrong".Process was not interupted in any way , i've seen a robot with progress bar , then it was asus and below progress bar , and now only asus logo (dont remember the FW version , before update it was 4.1.1 i belive)

I'm unable to enter recovery vol down + power.

When i turn it off (using powerbutton) it just restarts to logo again.

I've read a few threads but i don't know what else i can do :(

Asus Zenfone 2 Dead bot blinking error

i rooted my zenfone 2 and the applied the system update by mistake. and my phone got stuck in boot (the loading loop just keeps on rotating). Opening the recovery displayed an error message with a dead/sleeping bot ..but i was able to get into the recovery by pressing the power button and vol up key fr a short time. this was till yesterday ..today when i tried to switch the phone on (normal boot, not recovery) ... the asus logo screen appeared .. but after that instead of the loading screen i got a sleeping bot screen with a red exclamation mark that keeping blinking every few seconds ... i tried to open recovery .. but again the same blinking dead bot screen with "error" written. ... plz help me ! is it possible to recover my phone ?:(

I found the Stock Room of Zenfone Selfie ZD551KL with Qualcoom SnapDragon,
unlike ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 2 with Intel.

I not found in the Stock Rom files, fastboot.img, recovery.img, the dnx and ifwi.
Just found the file boot.img.
And the Rom brings a file Dat of 2.80 GB

I not found in any store for sale the Asus Cover
Only found in sites as Aliexpress Cover Wallet style.
The most interesting would be the Asus Flip Cover Original that possesses the
Circle in front allowing use cover Asus.
So it seems there is an Asus model known as: "ZenFone Selfie MyView"

Could anyone help?

Please Help! How do I revert back to my custom ROM? [Asus Zenfone 5]

I yesterday Flashed Cynogenm Mod 12.1 on my Asus Zenfone 5. This was the first time I ever flashed ROM on a device. My device runs fine but both of my sims are not detected!. Also, root access is not enabled even when I changed the root access to apps and ADB from developer options. Whenever I open SuperSU it says "There is not SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it. This is a problem! If you just upgraded to android 5.0 you need to manually re-root - consult the relevant forums for your devicce!" . I am in great trouble! please tell how can I switch back to my previous ROM or if the sim issue can be fixed. Please reply quick! Thanks!

Dead Asus Zenfone 5

Good day,
I had installed twrp recovery.
My ran into some problems after I installed some drivers and I had choose 'Clean to install a New ROM' option after my several trials of factory reset and I believe my phone is totally 'clean'.
After I had read several posts, I decided to sideload Asus stock ROM to my phone.
The problem is, I keep run into problems and after I try almost everything, I failed.
I try JB stock ROM until latest L ROM. Sideload almost every ROM and failed.
Encounter almost every error from (status 8), bad .zip to the one I can't even remember.
Can anyone tell me in detail on how to properly install stock ROM to a clean Asus Zenfone 5?
Bought the phone in 2014 with JB installed, upgraded it to L recently and rooted it.
I would really appreciate your help.

I only use Asus Auto-Stat Manager
Other than nothing, Got only 4 hrs of SOT with only light usage last for 1 & half day. some of the Asus boaltware are disabled, rooted, unlocked thats all.

ASUS ZenHub is LIVE

Hey everyone!

Although I haven't been a part of the community as long as some of the other members - I've had a really great time lurking and hope to contribute and help out!

I launched a new website a week or so ago - ASUS ZenHub - It's there for the community to interact, learn some tips and tricks you might not know, and participate in contests that I'll be running every so often! I'm still building out the site and it's at a rough stage right now, but I'll be adding content every other day about the ZenFone2, some product announcements, and features to help make your phone experience better. So although there might be some overlap in some content - XDA will be the place for powerusers to continue to hang and discuss ROMs and Development. I will also expand to include some other "Zen" products - like our ZenWatch, ZenPads, and Zenbooks, but really right now I'm focused on our phones.

I hope you guys like the site and I would love it if you could provide some feedback. Again, the site is really meant for the community - Please let me know what kind of content you guys would love to read about and I'll be sure to whip something up!

[IMPORTANT HELP] Zenfone 2 4GB stuck in boot with Asus logo

Hi all,

My fone is Zenfone 2 4GB RAM 32GB internal. It's rooted and updated to version UL-Z00A-WW-2.20.40.59 few days ago.
This morning i seeing the update alert from Asus showing on phone, so i go head with update.
But after reboot, at the screen with Asus logo and slogan In Search of Incredible... and the loading icon keep rolling for hours
I leave it rolling for 2 hours and nothing happen. So i go to recovery mode and do factory/wipe all data. Update process going fine, but after complete and reboot. it still stuck at the loading icon under Asus logo.

Anyone pls help.

Help needed with original software for my Asus TF201

Hi, I need your help. I have an Asus Transformer Prime TF201 and days ago it was very slow so I decided to do a factory restore. The problem is that it was rooted and I didn't know it. As you can see I am not a expert on that so I gave it to a guy who has a lot of experience... he only can install Cyanogenmod 9 and now the camera doesn't work. According to the technician I need the original software form any Asus TF201 because when I did the factory restore he does't know why some drivers where lost... Please if someone has the original software I will be very happy if you can pass them or indicate me where i can get it.. Thanks my friends...
