I just root my device but superSU it's in chinese how to update? please.

Hi guys I'd like to know how can I update Supersu in english, because from playstore is giving me an error, I don't know what to do.

if I unistall supersu or stop the process I'm going to lose ROOT privileges right?

Upgraded from Kitkat to Lollipop. Just. Need some help rooting.

So not being very experienced at Rooting/Flashing Roms this may come across strange.

Here is a little background to my problem.

I had a rooted Note 3 running KitKat before I decided to flash to Lolipop. I downloaded the Vodafone (UK) variant of the ROM from Sammobile not thinking anything of it at the time (As I am on Vodafone) I went through the usual procedure of going into download mode running Odin as admin and then connecting my phone, adding the Rom files to Odin and then Flashing. Flashing started fine as it got towards the end it Failed on Hidden(Something).
I panicked didn't know what to do so I unplugged my device and tried to reboot. It didn't. It said something along of the lines as there is a firmware error and got stuck on that screen. Panicked some more, decided I would try to google a fix. Came across one which required me to flash CWM Recovery onto my phone. I thought I would try it, Once it flashed which went fine I was told too try and boot straight into recovery mode once the phone starts and reboot through there. I took out my battery put it back in and then went ahead and tried to boot into recovery which worked. Once on CWM I went to reboot the phone As I hit yes too reboot It took me to another screen where it said I wasn't rooted and if I would like to reroot. I decided to click NO and restart the phone. It got stuck on a boot loop, I did a factory reset and cache wipe and it booted into life. (And working fine so far)

So here is where the problem is.

I am looking to get root back to the device. I think I have a locked boot loader as I installed the Vodafone variant of the 5.0 Rom. Would I be able to Flash the BTU Rom onto my device without bricking it, and after that would I be able to root Via CFAutoRoot which seems to be the easiest way to so. Or could I flash with CFAutoRoot Straight onto this ROM.

[Q]My S II Plus boot loop, no recovery , no charging just download mode

Like post said this happened after i put Lollipop (Ressurection Remix i think) and then i didn't had network..with few searches on web I find that EFS it's corrupt and downloaded EFSFix.zip from internet (idk right now the source) after I flashed it with Odin 3.07 this started...I TRIED following with no succes :
- flash with odin i9105pxx11 etc. stock firmware , no succes ;
- flash CWM , TWRP and all recovery files , no succes ;
- find something Syiah kernel fixing EFS and others no S II Plus kernel just S II .. ;
- battery out one night, charging one night ..still loops.

Please if somene can help me..I don't have so much battery so the thing is what I flash now it is the last.:)

Just got a new "old" fire TV. Should I root it?

I've got 4-5 AFTV's set up in my house running XBMC Gotham with a custom skin connected to my LAN serving content off of my NAS. Family loves it.

Want to put one in the car. So...

No network connection
XBMC Gotham
2TB HDD connected to USB port

Can this be done? IE use a FTV without a network connection?, connect a 2TB drive? (I can connect huge drives to my in-house, non-rooted FTV's)

Should I root this box or let it update and will it act like the ones I have in house? I put FiredTV app on the ones in the house to jump to a menu where I can quickly start XBMC. Is there a better way with rooting?

Is there a good resource I should go to to find out about these things?

Just upgraded to CM 12.1 from stock JB ROM - Storage space running out problem

I'm having a little trouble understanding what is going on because this never occurred to me. I have just installed to new CM 12.1 Nightly on my old Galaxy S2 (I9100 Model). I came from the just ROM JB 4.1.3 as I was sure this phone could handle much more than that. Expectations were high and they were met. Although I had some problems installing the KitKat compatible recovery, I eventually did it and it all works well for now - well, except one little annoying thing: after installing about 10 apps the phone started complaining about the internal storage running out.

First thing I do is to check the 'Storage' option in Settings to make sure about the actual space being used. I have 1,96GB total space and at this point the bar was almost filled showing that, in fact, I had about 100MB free space left. I then go to the 'Apps' option to move as many as I could to the SD card. All could be moved except for Google Play Services which itself takes about 200MB. To my surprise, although the apps were supposedly moved to SD card, if I go check the each App Info I still see that almost all space the Apps take is still being stored in the 'internal storage'. Almost nothing is stored in the SD card even if the app was "moved". I also made sure I cleaned the cache of every app.

I go ahead and check the 'Storage' option again. This time I paid attention to the actual details it shows. Once I enter this option the following screen appears: dnuno. pt (slash)outros(slash)screen2. png

No other statistics other than 'Available space' and 'Apps' appear and as the bar indicates I still have a lot of space left at least 1GB. With the previous JB ROM I started running out of space only much later and I had lots of other apps installed.

Somehow the available space is stuck on that value (166MB) even after all the calculations have been made.

I wasn't able to find any reference to this particular version of the 'storage space running out' problem and I'm unaware of possible solutions to this as well. I hope someone can redirect me to some other thread, post or something that could help me out. Also I couldn't post in the original CM 12.1 thread for I9100 because I have just registered.

just rooted, got a question with superuser app

so i have used kingo root (not kingroot) app to root my phone, it all went well, but, i keep hearing supersu app is a must, is there any working method for replacing kingoroot superuser with supersu? will i be fine with kingo superuser? i heard its very tricky to do this and you need to use the terminal app, but if supersu is a must have ill do it, looking forward to any working methods, thanks!

"JUST ONCE ONCE" options missing

Hi, Note 5 and S6 EDGE+ both have a problem. It defaults a program to the first app you select. I used to be able to click a number and android would as me to choose my VIOP or RC "just once" Now every things is set to "always"There used to be an option to only use it once. Is there any way I can fix this without rooting?

Or should i install update(LMY48M) via fresh system image?

Just trying to install 3.2

So I did a factory reset on my kids tablet and in reverted back to 2.2. I tried to to download the recovery file from the Dev-Host site.

The problem is that each one of those downloads an zip file with an exe file in it (which will try to load a bunch of spam crap on my computer). Anyone have a solution on this or where to find the update file??

Just received my Fire Phone (Ebay) and battery was completely discharged... concerns?

Hello all... I've just received the FIre Phone I ordered off Ebay (qualitycellz seller). The phone is supposedly brand-new in original box, but upon taking it out of the box and trying to turn it on it did not respond at all. I connected the charger, tried again, nothing...... had to leave it connected for around 5 minutes and tried again and this time the screen woke up to show me the ultra low battery indicator with a 0% charge level. I had to wait for it to charge for around 5 minutes to re-attempt turning it on. Fortunately it did turn on after that time.

My concern is that from what I know all cellphone manufacturers ship phones with at least 60% charge in order to keep the battery in good condition while on storage, so receiving the phone completely dead raises a concern on me that there might be damage to the battery. Could this be related to the long time Amazon had these units in storage since the phone launched?... I would expect that these phone might have been around a year in storage before Amazon decided to pull the plug.

This is the seller that Amazon unloaded all their remaining Fire Phone inventory to, so phones are new in box. I'm also concerned that the seal on the box was broken, even though the phone and packaging inside did not show signs of being used in any way. The phones are AT&T version but they include an unlocking code, so they should not need to open the box in any way since they generate the Unlock code based on the IMEI visible on the box label. One option is that they open the boxes to confirm that the phones are not DOA and then they forgot to turn it off after testing.

Should I be concerned about this?... I've not activated the phone yet and I've contacted the seller first to at least request their explanation and thoughts on this, and check if we should proceed with a return on this case. Your comments are appreciated.

Just purchased a Verizon droid 4

I just purchased a droid 4 from Verizon, have wiped it a few times, but my front facing camera, keyboard, soft key lights are not working. I have searched online for fixes, Motorola said i could pay 150.00 in order to get it replaced. I figured i would come here first to see if anyone had a suggestion or a link to where i could wipe it before it took the 4.4 patch to where it seems to have totally messed it up according to other online sources .

Just Got S6 Active And Wireless Charger(s) not working

Hi Guys,

For the past year I have been using a Tylt Vu, and Itian Desktop wireless chargers with my S5 with the Samsung back.

Charging speed with both desktop stands was really good. And it charged the phone in a couple of hours.

I just picked up an S6 Active yesterday, and on both my stands it's barely charging.

The phone shows the charging symbol. The stands light up showing the phone is charging. But it's charging at a rate of about 2% an hour.... Totally not usable.

Am I missing some kind of a setting to get the chargers to kick into gear???

Root Help Just got phone today

hi all, just got phone today, I know it's 2 notes behind, but this one was affordable, I have read and searched for 3 hours and no luck with root. Odin want recognize my phone, I've been rooting and flashing ROMs for 7 years, and I have never encountered this issue with Odin. But this also my first time using Odin with windows 7. Can anyone help me root, my phone is on 4.4 with NK4, thanks.

i have some basic doubts. Please do guide me on the following as i am a no voice in this area on how to flash a custom roms, and refrain using some hard terms and make this process as simple as possible and would appreciate if it is a step by step guide :)
so my queries are as follows.
1. i have successfully rooted my MICROMAX CANVAS 4. Now i want to install a nice and good CUSTOM ROM on it. i want the list of all good and bug free custom roms available for my micromax canvas 4.
2.how to flash a new rom on my device.
3. how to backup the current rom? and how to restore it?
4. were is the path i mean were will i save the backuped original rom on my phone>? ( internal or external memory) please do guide me the path.
5. in the same way were will i backup the downloaded custom rom?
6. after downloading the rom, what are the step y step procedure to install the custom rom?
7. if i dont like the custom rom, what is the procedure to install back my original rom ?
8. just suggest me some good custom rom as i am really weak in knowing one.
