Wireless Charger Pack for Note 5 (it's NOT what you think it is)

Please look at the photo I have posted (zoom in to see the details) with this post to the thread. I am referring to the "Wireless Charging Pack" which is actually a cover for the Note 5 from Samsung, which has a battery built into it, which wirelessly charges the phone while the cover is on. The cover only covers the back, not the front (including the camera lens on the back as it contains a battery) but wirelessly charges the phone while it is on the phone (I have read in the description it has a switch on it which allows you to turn the wireless charging on and off, so essentially this is Samsung's version of a Mophie cover). You can use the phone normally (except for the camera of course) while the phone has this on it. It is currently not for sale on the Samsung accessory web site. Does anyone have one and what do they think of it? Does anyone know where to get one?

Ascend Mate soft brick (I think)

Dear all, I would reset my Mate and did a factory reset from Android Menu. After that the phone was going to the TWRP Recovery. So I didn't read further tutorials and thought a full wipe would not a bad Idea. But sadly I did not found the old Custom Image ZIP file and would install the factory default firmware. UPDATE.APP. After some doings I lost my TWRP Image (I think by swiping) and now I have only the HUAWEI SDCARD&USB UPDATE AGENT VERSION 2.0 running.

When I try now to update of UPDATE.APP from SDCARD, the error is, the Agent can not mount. I was trying two SD Cards. fresh formatted.

Are all sizes compatible? Or do I have to use a small SD card?

It says that your warranty is voided, and I'll bet Motorola wouldn't hesitate to go by that when you have an issue. Wait until there's a clear cut answer, or unless you are 100% sure this is what you want to do...

How do you think the 8GB ROM/1GB RAM version will hold up?

Under moderate use do you think it will hold up? I just got one but haven't really pushed it. Seemed okay so far.

Also, hopefully it gets Android M because supposedly it will bring being able to use your MicroSD card as primary memory (thus overcoming the 8GB downfall).

Just got electrocuted by charger I think

I went to unplug my fast charger from my phone and I felt a pin prick feeling on my index finger. I then looked at where the wire connects to the plastic part you plug into your phone and there's some brass wires popping out then I obviously touched. Is that a life threatening shock?

I think my S4 active is hard brick

Hello!, I am new in this, but I think my S4 active At&t model (SGH-i537) is hard brick because for what i have read it has all the things a HB phone has. Although I didnt try downloding or change anything on it (I say this because everybody says that you get hardbricked when you try to install roms or chane something else of you phone). The battery was low, I didnt chager it at night so when I waked up it had already turned off (discharged).... .after that I tried to charge it, but didnt work, I tried diffrent chargers and cables and even a new battery and a complete charged one and nothing, the pc wont recognize it, and i cant get into recovery or download mode, I have tried everything, i even bought a usb jib and didnt work on it (and it was not the usb because i tried on another phone and it worked). I dont know what else to do. would It be a motherboard problem - hardware? if so, .. changing it (buying a new one) its the only solution? For what i have read they are expensive, i think it would be better to bu a new phone. please help me!!! the phone it seems like new and i can stand that it doesnt work, i used all my saving to buy it!...... :crying::crying:

Ok, so I recently tried to install CM on my Z2 Tablet.

When I tried to restart the device I get nothing but a flashing red light.

If I hold the power button down I sometimes get a short vibrate and if I hard reboot it it gives me 3 short buzzes as usual but still nothing.

If I leave the usb cable plugged in I get the connect/disconnect noise for a usb device which makes me think it's stuck on a boot loop but theres nothing on screen, it's just dead.

Screen is black and all I get when a usb is plugged in is the flashing red light and an occasional blue one if I mess with the buttons.

Tried using PC Companion to repair the device but it says the software isnt available for my device.

Tried flashing 2 separate FTF files and they both fail saying something about needing the correct fsc script to flash.

I've kind of given up hope but is there anything else I can try before I flog it for spares or repairs ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have an unlimited plan with T-Mobile. This month I only used about 80 GB's (which is low compared to most months. I typically use about 200 GB). The other phone on my account is a ATT Note 2, it's rooted and unlocked. We've used 180 GB's this month. The Note 2 number did not get the message. I know T-Mobile is pushing out this for people getting around the unlimited tethering. I've never had issues though with the year I've been with them. They're stating people are using 2TB's and that who they're going after for 3000 users. I'm nowhere close to that.

I'm running BlissPop on my d851. I recently did a wipe to install an update. Before I started tethering I forgot to switch the APN from IPV6 back to IPV4. IPV6 is much more traceable, and I know for stock d85* roms for Prime Tether it rids the ipv6 to enable tethering.

Could this be the main reason they caught me? I switched back to IPV4, but I'm weary to start tethering again. Do you think I'm flagged and screwed now? Or should IPv4 and a VPN conceal me?

Help!!! think i bricked it!

So I am working on a SM-T230nu for a buddy, We were going top root it for him but after I installed twrp he took it home and i dont know what he did. I think he tried flashing twrp again, but it failed and he just rebooted.
point being that at this point it is a black screen, but when i plug it into the computer i get the "rocovery has encountered an issue , select recover in kies and try again" screen but it only flashes it for an instant every ten seconds. and the computer does not recognize it. when i go to odin it does not show any connected devices. i already tried every button combination and opened her up and pulled the battery ribbon, but it does the same thing as soon as i plug it back in. Has anyone seen this before? is there any way to get back to recovery mode?

How long you guys think before we have a flashable Android 5.1.1 Zip for N910F?

Since Android 5.1.1 is already out for N910F how long do you guys think before we see a flashable Zip with root from one of the devs?

I haven't seen anybody even mention anything about this so hence thought I might as well ask the question.

I know we can flash using Odin etc but it is a very cumbersome and confusing process especially with all the different BL, AP, CP CSC files for the different models.

Being the arrogant bigheaded know-it-all that I am I thought I could do this by myself. Alas I was wrong.

I was attempting to carrier unlock my s4 mini (i9195) on EE, I rooted it first which was a success. I then tried the "regionlockaway" approach which claimed to be a success but after several reboots was not =[

I then delved deeper into the forums and read that it may work if i were to odin flash my device to MJ7.

I followed the steps of un checking the auto-reboot and F. reset boxs and proceded to put phone into "odin mode" and then Flash, disconnect, power off, boot back into odin mode, reflash and then boot normally.

This went horribly wrong. my poor little phone is very confused. it doesn't know its baseband and is displaying IMEI null.

I have done some further research and all post seem to say I must reflash to original ROM or inject IMEI?

I cannot find the required ROM files and IMEI injection, unless as simple as "download file x, insert IMEI from phone sticker into box x, flash with program x and all will be fine" then I am stuck in a lonely phoneless place.

PLEASE HELP ME! and i promise I wont try these things again!

You would think they will "Try" to satisfy us with 5.1.1 but no!

Installed 5.1.1 on my 910C thinking It will fix everything at least not asking for extra features but I was so appointed. The phone STILL vulnerable to "Stagefright" I don't know what does this update include but it seems like everything is same as before. Picture takes 3-4 sec to show after shooting, performance is sh!t compare to my Tab S2 which has the same processor but the note 4 lags like hell. Its great to note that its a fresh installation not just an upgrade over odin and root doesn't work anymore. Guess have to wait!

Thought I will share what I found so far. Will update after all apps done installation to see if anything changes.
