Hello I buy a huwaei ascend mate 7 two or three months ago. after someday i notice that phone goes to a mode with gray background that shows a viewpager with one clock and musicplayer on each page and the phone doesn't allow to do anything else. there is no button to exit this mode, after reset or full wipe the phone stay in this mode too. even after flash the official firmware the phone stay on this mode. in this mode mobile rings and i can answer calls, but i can call to anyone, and cant do anything but play music and see the watch.
at first this happen one time in a day and handset goes off this mode quickly, but now in a day just two or three hours the phone is available. the phone randomly goes off this mode and then get back to that.
 This Voice Mate app on my LG G4 for AT&T is driving me crazy. I can't listen to music in m car without this thing popping up and causing PowerAmp to pause, skip, and stop. I looked around and found on some other threads that people purchased TIBU Pro and used the Freeze option. Does anyone know of any alternatives before I decide to buy this app? I really want to get rid of Voice Mate, but I'd like to know what other alternatives may be available. Thanks.
I did drop the phone on stone floor yesterday now the touch does not work on the majority of the screen. In panic I have bought a used LG G3 as replacement I got it for a very good price.
yeah So I will probably not be checking this forum so much more... I hope the Mate 8 will be worth update for. The Mate S despite beautiful design was not convincing when it did come to batter cpu and gpu and also no sd card slot. What I liked about huawei is that they did copy the good things from apple, but now it seem they are ok with copying the bad sides also, which means very small battery (for good profit margins) and slow and outdated cpu/gpu.
Apple use outdated and bad hardware and they manage to get the most out of it with very good software. Apple spend a lot of money on the software that is how they get away with such weak specs. Well I hope Mate 8 will be a good spec monster, the software is important but a 3rd party launcher usually does the trick. New Mate 8 will most likely have curved display and for me a very seductive screen to body ratio like no other manufacture.. the Kirrin 950 also seem to me very convincing as long as the GPU is not the bottleneck as it is on M7.
I still do not forget huawei for promising us Lollipop, yet we are still here 9 and half month into 2015 and still no real sign of official release. I cannot understand what is taking such long time, my only conclusion is why it does take such a long time is because they are not working at it at all. The status have been on hold for the bigger part of the year, maybe they did work on in it for 1 month, they did not meat the deadline so now the project is on hold that is what I think. Despite what is it worth waiting for lollipop ? if you ask me the answer is no.. Lollipop will satisfy no one now when 6.0 is out. Also all new function and looks from Lollipop will not be present in the EMUI lollipop.. also same bad animations.. say what you want but animations are damn important...beautiful fast and fluid animations during multi tasking and switching between apps is very important, Apex Launcher did finally give me the smooth and fast animations i wanted from day one..
Dear all, I would reset my Mate and did a factory reset from Android Menu. After that the phone was going to the TWRP Recovery. So I didn't read further tutorials and thought a full wipe would not a bad Idea. But sadly I did not found the old Custom Image ZIP file and would install the factory default firmware. UPDATE.APP. After some doings I lost my TWRP Image (I think by swiping) and now I have only the HUAWEI SDCARD&USB UPDATE AGENT VERSION 2.0 running.
When I try now to update of UPDATE.APP from SDCARD, the error is, the Agent can not mount. I was trying two SD Cards. fresh formatted.
Are all sizes compatible? Or do I have to use a small SD card?
I got problem with huawei mate 7 tl-10 Fingerprint scanner can only unlock my phone while I press side button than fingerprint scanner, It won't unlock phone from ''black' screen...from sleep... I've done hard reset, still the same... When I press side button fingerprint scanner unlock it normal (fast) TL10V100r001C00B120SP01
I'm new to editing roms and such, but doesn't this make it really easy to build new custom roms? (I'm looking at you cm12) Or add fingerprint functionality to existing roms?
Do you guys think this is possible or am I being way to optimistic here?
I'd love to edit/build something but I don't know much about coding. If it's a matter of copy pasting drivers then it should be fairly easy (right?)

This thread is discuss the hardware specifications and design of the Huawei Mate S. This devices main claim to fame is the pressure sensitive technology dubbed "Force Touch" by Huawei, allowing the owner to control features such as the cameras zoom by applying varying levels of pressure to the touch-screen. Who will be upgrading to the Mate S, and why?
Image coming soon.

So I've been having issues and I want to use a descent music player.
Pretty much all I want the ability to do is forward back and forth tracks and be able to sort/view by folders.
PowerAmp does it but it's not free and after a while expires which is lame.
There's also MusicPlayer - Audio Player by Mobile_V5 but it's full of ads which is stupid and... it doesn't have a simple button where you can repeat a song. It has the folder view, recent view, etc.. which is all neat and simple. However the ads and lack of repeat button...
I don't are about shuffle I don't want shuffle. I like to pick my folder which I name a genre and then play what's in the folder. Then just go forward/back when i want to.
I use to use Oblytile to create and maintain my tiles and found that changing the background Images a pain if I want to move a tile (Using a cut up image as my tile backgrounds) so I wrote an app that organised my tile moves for me, unfortunately that was using Windows 8, so now I have moved to Windows 10 I found that the Tiles cannot no longer be created using the IE shortcut trick (eg the same way Oblytile does it).
So I modified my Tile Management app and have been using it (its ALPHA so if you want to play be prepared to see bugs) for a week so I thought I'd share it to see if people wanted to use it. It basically achieves the same as you had on Windows 8 using Oblytile BUT (and its a big butt) This is a desktop app, I capture the Alt+Windows key to display the form (the Top Most is not set at the moment so other windows CAN focus over the top, the app attempts to get around ti but during the debugging stage its a pain if the windows stays "On Top")
I have attached a few screen shots just to show how I have used it for myself, and as stated above its in Alpha, things like "single instance" and "Hidden program" does actually do anything yet. Also I haven't build a configuration section to add the background image to the form, or the tile groups, so if you want to change those you will need to adjust the lines in the XML file.
Groups can be named by mousing over the header of the Group, Tile drag N Drop as well as re-sizing is all done in the same manner as the Metro Screen. Clicking on the Settings bar icon in the top left corner will allow you to open the Tile Management screen to add/delete or adjust tiles. Holding down the ALT key with the setting slider open displays the "Exit button", otherwise the form display is toggled by holding Alt and pressing the windows key (press and release the windows key while the alt key is down) .
Files: Tile Mate will create a AppData folder: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Tile Mate\ (The Tile description xml file and All icons/border images will be moved into that folder)
Adding a background the form. Once you have added at least one tile you can open the TileMate.xml file and modify the "<backgroundimage></backgroundimage>" .
You can also add Tile Group backgrounds within the "groups" section (at the top of the XML file)
Adjusting the width and height of the group background will crop the image to the specified size (the image will then be automatically re-sized and/or cropped to match your Tile Group size as needed)
Setting the "onlyundertiles" to "True" will cause the background Image to only be shown where the tiles are. As such otherwise the image is applied to the group background
