Looking for flashable zip stock 4.4 i537 AT&T

I recently downgraded from lollipop to kitkat NE3 via Odin. I have been up all night trying to make a flashable zip of NE3 to use in safestrap but I admit defeat. Does anyone have a flashable zip of any stock kitkat for the US AT&T i537? I would prefer deodexed but I won't look a gift horse in the mouth... much obliged.

Any way to create a flashable file to modify an XML file?

I need to create a file to change

Code:

<device name="SND_DEVICE_IN_HANDSET_MIC" acdb_id="40" />

in /system/etc/audio_platform_info.xml
to

Code:

<device name="SND_DEVICE_IN_HANDSET_MIC" acdb_id="4" />

Is there any way to create a zip file or something that could do this automatically when flashed in recovery?

TWRP flashable stock images

Safestrap users, see ggow's thread instead.

Using draxie's tool (upHDX), I've created TWRP-friendly ZIPs of the stock firmware that leave the recovery and bootloader intact. Moreover, I've disabled OTA updates.
I'll try to keep this thread up-to-date should Amazon push any new versions. Feel free to make requests for any previous releases.

4.5.5 (user_455001320)
Side note: if anyone's ever worked with the AROMA installer, shoot me a PM.

[CANADIAN] Odin 5.1.1 Bootloader & TWRP Flashable Modem - SM-G920W8 BOH8

Rogers is the only carrier who pushed this update, it was pulled shortly after, due to corruption. I had to spend literally ALL day downloading this. I downloaded it 7 times before i got a OTA zip that passes a CRC check and extracted properly. What a pain in the butt it is i had to convert my Telus device to Rogers fully down to modding the EFS to get this done.

As always, you flash at YOUR OWN RISK. I will of course try to provide support if I am online, If you appreciate how much the pain in my butt was, and you didn't have to do this your self. Click Donate.

The Bootloader MUST be flashed via ODIN 3.10.X or higher. in the BL slot. Hence why its a tar. Sorry no flashables, Samsung locks the boot loader areas to everything bust their own signed recovery, from their own signed update.zip Get it Here

The modem is TWRP flashable Get it Here

You can get ODIN 3.10.6 HERE

Samsung USB Drivers HERE

Fingerprint confirmed working by my self. on custom 5.1.1 roms and stock.

How to import update binary zip using Android Flashable Zip Creator beta 3.0

I've asked in the tools Q&A thread, but the creator seems to have neglected questions in recent months.

Using the 3.0 Beta version of the tool, I'm trying to import the update binary of the Cyanogenmod Falcon ROM (scroll to the bottom if site's still buggy) for my Moto G Lollipop phone. I've extracted the zip of the nightly build, and then extracted the update binary within as instructed in this FAQ:

My device is not in the list. What should I do to use this tool?
- Just extract any working zip for your device and extract update-binary from zip's META-INF/google/android folder and import that binary in the tool, make a zip and try flashing it to your device. If the ZIP install is successful, then share update-binary by replying to this thread. Your device will get added to supported devices' list.

However, there's still no zip to import.

Need SystemUI flashable zip

Hi!
I messed up with my systemui, so I need a flashable zip that can put systemui.apk in system/priv-app/systemui/. Could anyone upload such a zip file? I have my own systemui.apk to replace in zip, just need proper zip file.
Thanks in advance!

How long you guys think before we have a flashable Android 5.1.1 Zip for N910F?

Since Android 5.1.1 is already out for N910F how long do you guys think before we see a flashable Zip with root from one of the devs?

I haven't seen anybody even mention anything about this so hence thought I might as well ask the question.

I know we can flash using Odin etc but it is a very cumbersome and confusing process especially with all the different BL, AP, CP CSC files for the different models.

Sorry if it is a stupid question

Wiped everything - no flashable rom!

Hello,
I decided to install the latest BlissPop ROM, so I went first to clean everything and by mistake I wiped my internal storage where the rom files are, and currently I have no ROM to install and TWRP doesn't see my SD card.
How can I push a flashable rom on the internal?

N910F: How to create odin flashable 5.1.1 file (works on every 910F!!), no PIT needed

as some of you may have noticed, since note4 you'll get a "wrong size error" when flashing a new firmware with odin when you want to flash a different region firmware.

example: your CSC is DBT (you have a german note4) and want to flash the new 5.1.1 file with region HTS.
if you download the file and flash it, you will get an error in odin which tells you that the size of the hidden.img is too big.

solution (i did this a few minutes ago, and it works perfectly):
download the HTS file and remove the MD5 at the end of the file. then extract it. you will get a bunch of files. delete the hidden.img and cache.img.

then, download and install CYGWIN (linux shell for pc): https://cygwin.com/install.html

then open cygwin and move to the directory where the files are located, for example: cd /cygdrive/c/*foldername*
then re-tar the files with the command: tar -H ustar -c aboot.mbn sbl1.mbn sdi.mbn tz.mbn rpm.mbn boot.img modem.bin NON-HLOS.bin recovery.img system.img.ext4 > 910f.tar

then you can flash the 910f.tar with odin without any error, and bingo: you are now on 5.1.1 with your old CSC preserved! :)

this can be used every time when you want to flash a rom not meant for your region, which gives the said error message in odin!
