SGH i337M suddenly doesn't read SIM and has no popups.
So I recently sold my SGH i337m and the customer has been messaging me telling me that absolutely nothing happens when he inserts his SIM card. No popup saying no sim detected, nothing. When he goes to settings > more networks > mobile networks there's a pop-up that asks him to "insert sim card", and that's about it.
I know for a fact I sold him the phone WORKING as I made sure multiple times to test the phone with my SIM card and everything worked before I sold it to him.
I've been troubleshooting with him but unfortunately I have not come to a solution yet.
Things I have tried:
I'm hoping some of you guys have a solution because I've been looking all over the internet and no solutions have worked thus far.
Thanks in advance!

Things I have tried:
- Remove battery & SIM then put back in
- Reboot in safe mode
- Wipe cache in recovery mode menu
- Wipe data/factory reset in recovery mode menu
- Insert another person's SIM (still no pop up, even when he uses a SIM from a locked company, it doesn't even ask for the unlock pin)

Internal Memory read only
Hi,
after some time with Minimal OS I went back to Shawn's Titan Prime (1.1.1) on my XT1069 yesterday and after setting everything up I noticed that I can't edit or save files on the internal memory anymore. Also happens with the External SD card but I managed to delete a file using ES file explorer.
Thanks in advance

Sony Music app unable to read songs in sd card
Hi,
The sony album app can read my pictures on the sd card just fine but the music app seemed to not be able to. It was able to last week. Might it be because of the sep 4 update that I installed? I tried to:
anyone else having this problem or most probably it is just me?

- reinstall the app
- delete the app cache
- delete all cache
- check for .nomedia files inside the Music folder (I have my music placed in a 'Music' folder in the top location of the sd card)
- remount sd card

How do i read external hdd with NTFS file system?
Hi.
Android does not support NTFS supposedly, but you can install apps that allow android to read an NTFS file system.
I have an powered otg lead, and it can read fat32 external hdd with no problems, it`s just ntfs i am having problems with.
There are a few apps on Google Play.
Can anybody recommend an good app, I am rooted but my brother in law`s 10.5" is not, so an app that works without rooting will be great.
Thanks
John.

Micromax Unite 2(A106) can't read sd card or internal storage
OP Junior Member4 posts Thanks: 0
My device is Micromax unite 2 A106 running android 5.0.
I recently flashed xposed arm.zip in order to use xposed modules. However the phone got stuck in android is upgrading screen, so I took out sd card, downloaded the xposed uninstaller through another phone and flashed it on my unite 2. Now the phone turns on normally and I can install apps but both sd card and internal storage (total storage-app storage) is shown with a capacity of 0B and 0B free. I tried different sd cards but all of them shows up as 0B on the phone. Using my sd cards on other devices and pc works fine, it shows fat32 format and all the data is still there. Only my phone can't read or detect them. Any help?

Long story short, Asus' system is considerably less bloated.
