I have had the note edge since launch and looking at upgrading to the edge+. I can live without the S pen il honestly miss it maybe 20 mins a year. The one reason I have been holding back on the upgrade is my favorite features of the note edge is notifications on the edge. What I mean is when I am browsing the net and get a phone call or text it just pops up on the edge and not the whole screen allowing me to reject it using the edge and not interrupt what I am doing. My understanding this feature is not there on the edge+ out of the box and curious to know if there is a way I can add it after the fact thru an app or other means.

Those of you who got it already and are on VZW
Those of you who already got their X Pure and are using Verizon.
Q1: What does your device show on my Verizon?
Q2: Are you able to use Advanced Calling 1.0 aka VolTE?
Q3: Can you post LTE Discovery Screenshot?
that's it.. no one can give me any of these answers. While I wait for mine.
Oh and Q4: did you cut your sim,get new sim from vzw?

Warning to all those tethering with root.
So, today I woke up to a lovely text from T-Mobile warning that I have concealed tether usage data. The transcript of the text follows:
Regarding my tethering usage, I've only used a good 2GB extra than the mobile Hotspot allows. So, their idea of significantly exceeded seems pretty strict. So, even if you don't think you fall into the "percentile" of that one person using 2TB, to T-Mobile, you do. I'd still like to see them try to move me down to a lower plan though. I'll just leave and go to something like sprint.
So, I recommend being extremely careful. I have no idea how they detected it, but they are.

John Legere to lay down the ban hammer on those hacking tethering
According to John Legere, today is the day he will start cracking down on an estimated 3,000 heavy abusers, some who are using up to 2TB a month of data, by means of hacking the tethering ability on their phone. I wonder how many of you here will be hearing from John and the Executive team at T-Mobile? ;)

How do I install those delta update file if my Recovery is in TWRP?
Since I have previously rooted the phone and bring it back working after unbricked it by `adb sideload UL.zip` from Asus (the official ROM)
now I want to update to V 2.20.40.63 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenf...5#post62580081), but TWRP won't let me install it, not even adb sideload, what are my options to get it updated?

I this article the author comparesmemory usage of the ZenFone 2 vs Samsung's latest:

Long story short, Asus' system is considerably less bloated.
