Different ROM for Lumia?

Hi everyone, :)

I am very interested and I hope someone there will help me out to resolve my question.

So I have Lumia 925 RM-910 which doesn't supports 4G networking. Also I have downloaded in my PC another ROM it's RM-892 which supports 4G LTE networking. Can I flash my Lumia 925 RM-910 with RM-892?

Please help me and explain why yes or why not. :)

It's very important for me.

OFFLINE Maps Directory on Lumia?

I know there is a way to save maps to sdcard using WPTweaker but I was wondering if I could copy the already downloaded maps stored in my phone directory to my PC. If so, could someone kindly tell me the filepath when connected to PC? Thanks in advance :fingers-crossed:. I'm using 640 XL, full unlocked and interop accessed.

SiM unlock Nokia Lumia 635

Hi guys,
I have a Nokia Lumia 635 (Windows 8.1), locked on Orange Romania. Is there a way to unlock it for free so I can use it on other networks?
I read a lot of "unlocking methods", "unlocking calculators", "unlocking whatever", in fact fakes to get money from you and I don't want to pay, I want to do it myself.
Any advice will be highly appreciated, thanks!

Not sure if this is the right place for it, But i was looking to buy a Lumia 640 which is locked to the Australian Vodafone network and was wondering if there is a way to unlock it by flashing, rooting or whatever we do on the windows side of things.

[Q] Lumia 920 battery mod

I was planning go do a Frankenstein on my lumia 920. I was thinking of replacing the battery with a different brand, like samsung.



Here is the thing, i found a battery that js kinda higher bs the orihinal lumia 920



Brand X specs

3.8v 8.1Wh 2600mah



Lumia 920 spexs

3.7v 7.4Wh 2000mah



So the question is, will brand X short or burn my lumia 920? Or is it safe to use brand X even it has a higher voltage?

Lumia 640 LTE Unlock

I was just wondering is there a way of unlocking my Lumia 640 LTE so I can use another sim. I dont want to call any carrier services if im being honest..

[HOWTO] Maximize the potential of the (Lumia) Win10M camera

okay just to the point, this is the way you can maximize camera manual control (tested on Lumia 730)

1 open CustomPFD and move to Registry Tree
2 continue to HKLM\SOFTWARE\OEM\nokia\Camera
3. choose FrontFacingCamera (FFC) or RearFacingCamera (RFC)
4. continue to Caps
5. if you want to set minimal ISO, select "+" and type Key: MinIso | value: less than 100 (example 25), and WRITE
6. if you want to set maximal ShutterPeed, select "+" and type key: MaxET | value: 4000000 (more value dont work), and WRITE
7 Test your Camera

A. MaxIso and MaxET for RFC is 3200 and 4000000 (if you set it more than that, it'll not work)
B. MinIso for RFC is 10 (if you set it less than that it'll not work)
C. MaxIso and MaxET for FFC is 800 and 4000000 (if you set it more than that, it'll not work)

#maybe with this way, you can bring back 4s shutter for example 520/630/etc.

I bought a Lumia 532 for navigation purposes for my parents,
as they have absolutely no clue about smartphones and this
should be the easiest handset to work with. Also, I am totally
new to this operating system, because I am using Android and
iOS.

Now I am searching for a complete tutorial on how to get
the Nokia Here maps saved on the external SD card. It seems,
the old method with Lumia Storage Check Beta is not working
or existing anymore. :(

I found bits of information here and some there, but there is
just no single complete tutorial going from step 1 to x. :\

Unlock Lumia 635 AT&T GoPhone

My Lumia 635 is locked to AT&T. The phone does not have a contract, so I am eligible to unlock it from the AT&T website but there have been some issue with teh site, and my unlock request is still being processed for a long time.

So is there any way to hack/unlock it so that I can use it in a locked sim network for free?

Second Sim Icon on Single Sim Variant (Lumia 640 XL)

I flashed the leaked copy of Windows 10 Mobile 10240 onto my Lumia 640 XL not realizing it was a dual sim rom. As I had got a copy of a original windows phone 8 .ffu I thought I'll just flash back to that. However when doing so I am stuck with the second sim icon still. I've even downloaded another single sim .ffu and flashed but phone still thinks it's a dual sim phone. Any ideas?
