Looking for info on which version of GAPPS i should use for Shield TV 16GB.

I recently flashed Zulu99's Full Android 1.8 rom on my 16gb shield tv and it loads 5.1 just fine, but after flashing any Gapps i get the same "Unfortunately Google Play services has stopped." message at the welcome screen and after skipping setup and trying to add an account or signing into google apps i get the same message over and over again. Should i use a certain Gapps package for the rom?

GAPPS Problem

Hey Guys

I need some help with GAPPS on my Redmi Note 2 Prime.

I am running the stable 6.7.4.0 official ROM and had flashed TWRP to install my GAPPS package.

The GAPPS including Play Store and Google Services installs fine. I then reflashed the stock recovery however the OTA update functionality stops working. When trying to install the 6.7.5.0 OTA update in Mi Recovery I get an error message each time. I tried this without GAPPS being flashed and the update went through successfully. So it seems the GAPPS is causing the OTA update to fail.

Does anyone have a link to a working GAPPS package for the Redmi Note 2 that doesnt break official OTA updates? I dont want to use the Xiaomi.eu DEV ROM as its pre rooted and as a result some apps dont work.

Installation:--

The Google Applications packages should be installed via recovery. Exact steps vary, but the general process is the same as that used to install

1. Copy the gapps .zip-file to /sdcard/
Using adb: adb push filename.zip /sdcard/
2.Reboot your device to recovery via any one of these methods: 1) using the power-on key combo for your device; 2) running adb reboot recovery from your computer; 3) or via the Advanced Reboot power menu (enabled in Developer Options).
3.Choose "install zip" or "Apply update" from within recovery, and navigate to the zip-file loaded earlier.
4. Reboot from recovery back to Android.

GAPPS 64-bit Question

Hi everyone! I just have a quick question: considering the Asus Zenfone 2 has a 64-bit processor how come flashing x86 Gapps is reccomended over flashing x64 Gapps? Thanks and sorry for the noon question!

What is Gapps fix?

i know it of course is a Google Apps Fix, but can't find any info about it on Google. Is it just the app in the play store Gapps fix?

What exactly do it do? Just disable some services and such? I just see more and more people are talking about it and some developers have added it to their roms and such.

Just heard it makes Android Wear stop working and such.

I've installed CM11 + Gapps 4.4 aroma and stuck at first boot

Hi all, I would just let know (I don't have yet 10 post to write this in the proper section), that this combination failed miserably.. It look like the two packages are compatible but in the end I had an error on the first boot.

Will Not Install Gapps

I have just installed Blisspop rom and trying to install TKGapps. I have tried to install Full, mini and micro. I get not enough space to install and to run gapps-config.

How can I just clean out the /system/app folder so I can reinstall Bliss and then Gapps?

Is there a way to format the whole thing to remove everything, then reinstall Bliss (5.1.1) and gapps?

There is no way that I'm full up I have 12.28GB of space but it tells me that I don't. I'm getting really irritated.

GApps for Stock ROM 5.1 for Canvas A1

I have just flashed Stock ROM 5.1 on my Micromax Canvas A1. But some Gapps are crashing like Play store, google, google play services, etc. I tried clearing data, and tried Factory Reset but it didn't helped. I also tried flashing a Gapp package but ended up causing bootloop. So please anyone can give me link to download Gapp so that I can replace the Gapps.

How to get GAPPS installed on Redmi Note 2

Well, after ROM hassles, TWRP hassles and most important of all, GAPPS hassles, I finally got the bastard working.

I tried literally a dozen different ways and zip files, poring over thread for the better part of an entire day, but finally the instruction on this thread, worked on my RN2: http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=118691

I installed the four .APK files and rebooted. I was able to login to the play store (first time after like 15 attempts to get this working) and not only that, I was able to download an app I previously purchased.

So much simpler in the end, than any other method via recovery and so forth. My phone isn't rooted yet, that wasn't an issue either.

Cannot remove old gapps package after switching to omni rom nightly w/android 5.1

I have an asus tf300t. I managed to update from the final version of omni rom with android 4.4 to the latest nightly (8/27/2015) but the gapps package for android 4.4 is still flashed. I downloaded the package for android 5.1, wiped the system partition with twrp, and then reflashed the rom. (I did not wipe the data partition and internal storage.) After that I tried to flash the new gapps package but there was "insufficient storage in system partition." I rebooted the tablet and the old gapps package was still on it. How can I remove it without wiping the data partition and internal storage?
