WiFi stopped working + S-Pen no input

My WiFi has stopped working. I'm using Note 3 SM-N9005 LTE and it has Audax ROM 4.4.2. It has been working for about 14 months straight without any hassle between any ROMs, I've used custom on this one since December 2014, and AudaxROM since January 2015. I haven't updated the ROM during the period in which the WiFi worked and stopped working. Nothing unusual, has been regularly charged etc. One day a couple of weeks ago the WiFi just died. If I press to turn on the WiFi, it just hangs in the middle, and won't turn on. If I press long the WiFi, it goes to WiFi settings and there it hangs too. I have to reboot the phone to get WiFi button hanging in the middle (turning on but not enabling WiFi) to turn back off. If I go WiFi settings and turn it on, it hangs in the middle. If I then press back, it swiftly switches to ON, but it really isn't switched on, the display just shows it for a brief moment and then back to the previous screen. Back to that menu and the WiFi button is still on the middle, thinking of turning on but not getting there. :mad:

Also, when Titanium Backup makes a backup of everything on my phone regularly, it ALWAYS hangs up in backing up the WiFi settings! There's nothing I can do about it. I have to manually skip the WiFi settings, so I get everything else backed up.

Any input on this issue? I've done factory reset a few times, restored a Nandroid backup, installed the Audax 4.4.2 back. I wouldn't like to install a Lollipop as it's a bit weird for me and there's no easy way to have a true silent mode or plain vibrate mode.

Also, the S-Pen has stopped working, but the S-Pen is not the one to blame, as it has been switched to a new one in warranty. I can't take my phone for warranty as in download mode it has Knox 0x1, and in my country there's a statement that if it is 0x1, then buhbye warranty.
