Spypoint Geopad USB OTG Charging

Hi, I bought one of these Spypoint Geopad, and am working on using tasker and a JoyCon Exr to automatically turn on a wifi based backup camera and connect to it with the tablet. I've gotten tasker working, and autoinput catching some keystrokes, but am having issues figuring out how, if possible I can enable USB OTG Charging mode. I've read that it would require a kernel most likely, and I'm not finding any information on this device thus far. What information should I be gathering from the device, to see if something already available is flashable, if not, how much of a kernel do I actually need to write, or can I just patch in the pieces I need?
