So, my phone afaik, is relatively slow and mostly trashy.
BEFORE YOU SAY ANYTHING, I have NEVER NOR INTEND TO play games on it.
It has been generally slow since the day I got it. Tried upgrading to 4.3, didn't work, made it slower and hatred the keyboard. Not that the 4.1.2 keyboard is any better stability wise ( if my phone runs out of ram it'll kill the keyboard and take it down mid-typing for about 20 seconds, most often in chrome. Crashed 4 times as of the start of this sentence.).
Tried flashing cyanogen, I remember having something about a locked bootloader and no fastboot so I had to flash a special version for locked bootloaders, and it was CG v12, which I think is 4.4, far beyond the xperias capabilities afaik. It sure ran like it (all apps including launcher and homescreen would crash intermittently).
I remember trying nova launcher and go launcher on stock Rom. Heh. I got 5 fps navigating the home screen.
So time and time again I tried many things, and at last I'm coming to you guys for help. But also, let's start from scratch. Assuming I know nothing.
I have the stock android kernel, 4.1.2, rooted, with a root file explorer.
