The S4 from a friend of mine won't turn on after it turned off because of a empty battery. But even after sitting on the charger for hours, it won't turn on. When I attach it to a computer, I hear the 'new hardware' sound and I got a QHUSB_DLOAD device.
So I installed de samsung usb drivers from RIFF and it got recognized correctly (COM3). So I downloaded Odin, but Odin doesn't recognize the phone, only v1.85 sees a yellow COM3 device.
So I tried flash the firmware but I have no idea which file I need to choose (the phone won't turn on). I chose the newest Dutch version (it's a Dutch phone).
But after checking the MD5 hash, it freezes on SetupConnection. I tried different computers, different usb cables, but still the same message. Even tried with a PIT file.
Is there something I can do with it?
