Root kingo Stuck Galaxy s3

I try to root my samsung Galaxy s3 but it is stuck on 40% and it says 'waiting for device'
but left bottom there stands 'connected' so, what should i do, will it break my phone if i close it and try again??
please answer as fast as possible.
