I'm planning on doing a nexus 7 2013 install on my car, but the area I've got to install the tablet is really limited. Ideally I'd have to cut ~1 cm off the lower corners of the nexus.
After watching a bunch of teardown videos, I can see I'll have to relocate the wifi module, and some of the other boards which is no big deal.
The only issue is the digitizer. I won't be cutting nearly far enough to go into the screen, but will cutting the corners off break the digitizer, or is it only active above the lcd?
