Install Instructions
(User App/APK Method)
1. Place APK on your Internal or External SD Card.
2. Install the APK with any File Manager.
3. Start V4A and install the driver of your choice.
4. Disable LPA if prompted.
5. Reboot Device.
(System App/ZIP Method)
1. Place ZIP on your Internal or External SD Card.
2. Use TWRP Recovery to Flash the Zip File.
3. Start V4A and install the driver of your choice.
4. Disable LPA if prompted.
5. Reboot Device.
Recommended Audio APPs/MODs
PowerAMP Music Player
Harman Kardon / Boomsound Switcher
Dragon-Fi Audio
Additional Information & Opinions
Most music players should work with V4A but its known some do not, Google Play Music will work but personally I recommend Poweramp for its sound quality, your sound quality with Poweramp will increase very noticeably even with all Poweramp's effects turned OFF because of its engine and API's it uses, which is how I use it, V4A at full control for less distortion.
PowerAMP will work on Normal and Compatible Mode.
For Normal Mode you must Disable BOTH Direct Volume Control & BT Direct Volume Control even if you're on wired headphones, under "Settings>Audio>Advanced Tweaks" to Disable.
For Compatible Mode you are free to use DVC but you must Enable MusicFX under "Settings>Audio>Advanced Tweaks", then under Tone/VOL you can trigger the MusixFX button and V4A will work.
Just for fun PowerAMP users should know there is a Material Theme to match your V4A :)
