Non rooted multiple window app?

Are there any apps that allow all apps to be used in split screen? Unfortunately I'm unable to root (Verizon) and I want to you different apps in split view

Multiple issues after screen replacement

Hi, I had my z3 screen replaced the other day, I got it back the next day and was delighted at the screen, it was perfectly fine. I got the phone home (stupidly didn't test in the shop) and popped my sim in, and had no service for about an hour, despite going all over my house.
So I took my phone back and they said they had to replace a part, so I received my phone back with signal, then the top of the screen had a very faded flickering, it was like a inner glow. I took it back and they had it for another day, I got the phone back to zero signal coverage, and now I can actually see the screen coming away on the left hand side (it's actually not flush with the case)

So I need somebody who is basically a mobile engineer to help me troubleshoot the problem so I'm more armed when I go in next, because obviously my phone was perfectly fine prior to the cracked screen repair.

Ads on multiple Android Apps

Recently Ive been getting ads for the Ford Motor Company, Nectar (the shopping reward company used by Sainsburys and Android) on BBC News, Poweramp, eBay, Facebook apps and others on my phone

The Ad's are seemingly quite hi quality comprising a 'still' full screen picture (of a car in the case of the Ford one) which can be dismissed via a cross at the right top of the picture.

Although easily dismissed they are a nuisance

I'm wondering if these are some how 'official' ads from Android as they advertise Android /google products as well as Ford etc or are they some sort of virus/Malware

Is it possible to get rid of them? if so could you tell me how, as after a some searching I cant find even a mention of anything like them on the internet.
I would rather not initialise/wipe my Phone

Best emulator for multiple instances of 1 app?

Basically i would like to run multiple instances of an app on 1 computer, its actually a small app and isn't a game or anything CPU intensive. the only way i can think to do this is by using emulators but many of them only allow you to run 1 instance at 1 time which means i can only run 1 instance of the app.

I have tried bluestacks and you can only run 1 instance of that at any one time.

Installed VM, Android Studio and Genymotion together which resulted in actually letting me run multiple instances of an android emulator at one time but if i load anymore than 2 emulators it just crashes and i get an error saying "display drivers has just recovered from an error". which i assume might be down to my graphics card or the drivers, i've updated to the latest drivers and its not actually a bad card so it should be able to cope with more than 2 instances.

any recommendations would be much appreciated. thanks

i cannot delete multiple files on file explorer

i am using 5.0.1 stock rom sense 6 and when i go into the file manager and i want to delete something or to move 2 files or more it say's

please select your sd card first i select my sd card and then it says documents has stopped mpla mpla and at the at bottom it say's Authorization it fails

does anyone had this before ? on other custom rom's i didn't had this problem and anyway it wasn't asking for to choose my sd card

Multiple games crash?

I have had more than one game crash on this phone. One of them worked fine on my Samsung Galaxy s4 so I'm not sure why it would crash on this phone. My phone is rooted and I'm on 5.1. My model is H812. I think this phone is supposed to be pretty powerful so it should be capable of running them.

Multiple issues using Paranoid

I'm having quite a few issues with my ROM'd Z phone using Paranoid. I've recently updated to the latest version as soon as I was alerted.

1. The lock screen freezes, or rather becomes limited in responsiveness. I use the swipe up to unlock. When I swipe up, the clock/notifications just bounces and eventually the screen goes dark, then off. Sometimes I can reset using the power menu, but often the screen is totally unresponsive so I have to do a hard reset. On occasion I have to reset multiple times consecutively because it locks up immediately after boot... until its finally usable again. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7...lZob2Q2eHNkLU0

2. The phone gets hot in my pocket. When I notice this, often it has unlocked, turned on GPS, turned on the LED, taken photos and opened apps, or a combination of things. Sometimes even made a phone call, either to a contact or a recent from the log.

3. Recently I noticed it randomly ghost selecting right in front of me. I was unable to unlock and had to hard reset the phone.https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7...mJhQ0FOUDdLQkE

4. I am not getting SMS alerts from Optus 321 telling me I have messages from when the phone was off, or out of service range. Often I won't know till I randomly check days later, or when I miss a call (while on another call or in service range) and they leave a message.

5. Sound drops in and out from the other party. They can always hear me. Randomly, on some calls. I can have 3 good conversations, then the next I have to call back multiple times before I get enough up time.

5a. When I'm making a call, I may not even hear the outgoing ringing tone.

6. On any new call, the the volume on my Bluetooth headset is usually down about half way. I click the Vol+ and it immediately jumps to full, the volume bar already being at full.

7. When it rings, it often takes a second or more (after the ring tone has started) for the screen to turn on.

On suggestion by a friend, I disabled a lot of notifications, but the lock screen still won't unlock even when the only thing showing is the clock.

I guess there is problems with the the phone hardware, the ROM or incompatibilities with it and an APP.

Is there some diagnostics, or an app that I can run that will log what is going on and I can have someone look at those logs for me?

Allow calls through in silent mode after multiple calls in Lollipop?

I'm not on the Moto X anymore, but my sister is. She claims that on KitKat, she had it set so that if someone called twice in succession while in silent mode, her phone would ring for the second call. Now on Lollipop she can't find that option. Is this no longer possible, and if it is, how can she do this?

How to backup applications with multiple users in Lollipop? (w/ Root)

I've been thinking of installing a different ROM on my tablet but I would like to keep all my applications from both users. Is it possible?

I'm sorry if this is a well known feature inside Titanium backup, but I wasn't able to find anything by googling it.

Multiple issues HTC M8 ROGERS

I'm having issues with my M8 after a ROM install went south. I have an HTC M8 on Rogers, SuperCID, Rooted and S-OFF. The ROM I was using (CandyROM) locked up requiring a hard boot. After the hard boot it wouldn't go past the boot screen. I decided to reflash (dirty) and so my dire issues began.
First reboot > no change hung on bootscreen
-reboot into recovery > Factory Reset > reinstall ROM > booted directly to desktop > no-wifi no data connection
-at this time started getting write errors to DATA and unable to mount storage red errors in TWRP
-WIPE DATA > install ROM > boots to activation but after choosing country no cellular activation screen just goes to WIFI > cannot connect
-try this for hours FINALLY get a cellular screen at activation but cannot to the service "at this time" (no outages) > finish activation, go to bed very sleepy man.
-Wake up all apps reinstalled but now the data connection just turns on for a sec then off for a few then on and off and soo on.
-Flash RUU > no change.
-try a wipe and activate again but now I am back to the red data errors in TWRP and the device boots right to the homescreen not even an option to activate. (using the latest Banks GAPPS as well)
-I have tried flashing with and without GAPPS and now will try another rom.

Please help, how the heck do I get this thing back up and running, been flashing for years and have never had this much frustrations. Please let me know if there is info you need I have missed.

I am having a problem with my phone. when I send a pic from my phone to my e-mail, a yahoo account, I will receive it at least 50-75 times into my e-mail account. This is driving me crazy!! Also there are times that I send a pic to my e-mail that it will take 24 hours before it arrives into my e-mail! This phone has been nothing but frustration for me!! I should of stuck with the I-Phone!!
