I know it's available only for the this year's generation of phones, but I'm calling someone with the Edge + plus from my regular Edge using the video calling button and nothing. I tried it on full LTE bars and full WiFi calling. Zip.

Low speaker quality? Wi-Fi calling?
Hey all,
So videos sound nice and loud but when making calls on speaker phone, the quality is terribly low, is this the same across the board for everyone?
Also does the fire allow for free WiFi calling?

T-Mobile WiFi Calling & LTE Signal Tips for Z3
For those of you having issues with WiFi calling try the following, it may or may not help you but probably worth trying:
1. Enable SIP ALG in your router
2. Switch to 5Ghz WiFi band especially if you live in an apartment or a Wifi congested area as 2.4Ghz band faces a lot of interference due to widespread usage as well as added interference from things like some Bluetooth devices and Microwaves. Only interference you may face on 5Ghz is possibly really old 5ghz cordless phones.
3. On the Z3 going to WiFi settings -> Advanced and select keep WiFi on during sleep (I keep it off but it may help)
4. Try disabling "Que Background Data" in Power Management (May alleviate SMS issues over WiFi)
5. Either disable Stamina mode or try adding your SMS/MMS app like Google Messenger to Whitelist.
For those of you who have the 4G Range Extender (NOT the Cell Spot router), it seems it actually sometimes interferes with the 5Ghz band oddly enough.
For those of you who live in a 700 MHz (Band 12) area you can force the phone to use only Band 12 when in an LTE area, for better signal and improved battery. Band 12 has lower bandwidth though like 7-10 Mbps but I get Full signal vs the other LTE Bands where its 1-3 bars but higher speeds.
Dial in phone *#*#386#*#* -> You will enter Tech Mode -> go to the LTE option and disable bands 2 and 4.

Calling issue
So as the title says recently I have been encountering this issue of reception/call.
When I answer some calls, the person can't hear me but I can hear them fine and they hang up they call again its working.
It was working fine before on 2G network, now I chose 4G preferred/3G/2G but it still persists.

23.4.A.0.546
5.1.1
Stock ROM
Rooted
Any ideas on how to fix this will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks:D

HD calling with video verizon note 4
I was informed by VZW that my note 4 is ready for HD calling with video. The feature has been on my account for some time. It worked with our galaxy S5 phones. When I upgraded my phone to the note 4 , I lost the feature. VZW told me I can use it on my phone with the lollipop update. Unfortunately, I have blocked all OTA updates on my phone while waiting in hopes we would get a root on the retail devices. So here is my issue. I want to install the file for HD calling with video, without updating to lollipop. Does anyone know of a way of getting the extracted file or files to install for video calling? I don't know if anyone is in the same situation but thought I would see if there is a work around.

How to use AT&T VOLTE and WiFi Calling?
Hi everyone, I'm on an unlocked/rooted/xposed G928T on AT&T, and I'm wondering if it's possible to enable those features through my AT&T SIM. When I enable WiFi Calling in settings, it simply pops up an "invalid SIM" error as I'm not a T-Mobile customer.
Furthermore, even though I have the proper APN set up and AT&T has an iPhone 6+ IMEI in the system for my SIM (so VOLTE is set up on their end), I can't seem to get VOLTE to work either.
Any ideas? Perhaps I need a system dump of the AT&T version to piece it all together?
Thanks in advance!

CM 12.1 calling problem
First of all hello everyone..! :)
this might seem like a couple of noob questions, but the issues I am facing are real..
I installed the latest update of cm 12.1 yesterday "cm-12.1-20150911-UNOFFICIAL-ms013g-ver_AIO"..
I had been using "cm-12.1-20150614-UNOFFICIAL-ms013g-ver4_2" till yesterday
and overall, all the improvements in the latest ROM are fantastic..
Here I have 1 issue and 1 question:
ISSUE: right from my first boot, every time I get a call, and end it, it just doesn't hang up and the phone just shows the error: com.android.phone has stopped, and right after I click okay another error pops up: Dialer has stopped working
and then I neither can hang up the current call, nor I can make/take another call, the contact name of the first caller also gets stuck on the screen...until I restart the phone..and then it happens all over again..!
i.e.: A called me first, hanged up and the error appeared, now even if B calls me, the screen shows A calling, and I can't answer or reject the call..!
Can anyone please tell me how to get past that?
QUESTION:
in this ROM's june version that I was using, I was somehow able to change the call screen color to blue..
but since the update I installed yesterday, the call screen color has gone back to the Green shade..
can anyone tell me how to change it back to blue?

EE Wi-Fi Calling (UK)
Does anyone have a (UK) EE branded M9? If so have you tried the Wi-Fi calling?
EE released an update recently but only to handsets bought from them which contains the Wi-Fi calling capability.
Is anyone able to look at the settings for it and see if can be replicated on a non EE handset but using their network?

WiFi Calling in TW 5.1.1.
None of the SM-N910T(3) roms that are out there, based on DOG1, seem to have wifi calling working. I have heard this is related to a kernel issue. However, does anyone know of a 5.1.1. rom with wifi calling that works?

Is it possible to get wifi calling working on a rooted non-stock ROM and Kernel?
Thanks,
Thanks,
Wifi calling on unlocked d850
I have a question about getting wifi calling. I moved into a new apartment and my signal is awful. I have an att g3 (d850) that I have unlocked onto Tmobile, and I was wondering if either it was possible to succesfully use a d851 rom with wifi calling on my g3 or some other way to get that feature. Not having signal is extremely frustrating so any help would be apprecited

Anyone Working on T-Mobile Wifi Calling?
Just purchased a 925F (international version) and am on T-Mobile US for a carrier. I came from an HTC one (M7) (also international version), and the devs on those forums had managed to figure out how to extract the bits required for T-Mobile Wifi calling and bake them into their custom ROMs. There is really no current development going on under the T-Mobile sub-forum for this device, so I am using one of the custom ROMs from the general forums...without my beloved Wifi calling. Just wondering if anyone was working on this. If not, I will just have to wait and see if anyone starts development for the T-Mobile version again.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Note 4 N910T3 , Root and WIFi Calling?
Hi everyone,
So I just got a new Note 4 about an hour ago, and now reading forums realizing that they are not all created equally.
Mine is T3 that came with 5.1.1.
Trying to root this thing, but unless I am missing something it looks like if you root you loose WIFI Calling?
Is there any method to root and keep the feature currently?? I already flashed twrp if that helps. WIFI calling is vital for me unfortunately(
The same time I obviously need root.
Please help!
Tnx

T-Mobile G3 WiFi calling flashable zip package
Hi there everyone! I had a question. Does anyone know of a TWRP flashable package for WiFi calling for the T-Mobile G3? There are a couple of extremely debloated ROM's that I'd like to try, but their bases are from non-TMO devices (hence, no WiFi calling). I really like that feature, but couldn't find any info about whether such a package exists. Any help would be great!
Thanks everyone!!!

Verizon LG G2 Advanced Calling
Hi,
I have purchased a verizon LG g2 unlocked and upgraded it to lollipop recently via assistance from an XDA thread. After upgrading, it turns out i can't activate or find a workaround to use advanced calling which includes 4g and 3g HSPA+ connection. Is there any custom ROM or any workaround that unlocks the ADVANCED CALLING feature? Any help would be much appreciated.

Disable Wi-Fi calling notification
Anyone know how to remove this annoying notification? I can't seem to find anything related to it in the phone settings.
I did find two apps/services on the phone (Wi-Fi Calling Settings, WfcService) but could only uncheck the notifications for the first one, however it did nothing.
I'm on T-Mobile if that matters...
