Issue after lollipop recent update

Hi! I updated my handset to latest ota and now the phone seems to be unusable. It restarts on its own, cant even make or receive calls. It keeps restarting everytime. Lags too much. Can someone help y this is happening? I have too much data so wud prefer not to flash as it will wipe everything. Pls help

Gran Duos won't boot, restart on logo but works with usb recent flashed firmware

Hello guys, hope anybody here had this problem and was able to solve it.

I have a GT-I9082L from a friend here.
The phone won't boot, he was using the phone and suddenly it got crazy and started vibrate non stop.
When he tried to turn his phone on, it goes to the samsung initial logo (the one that display the model, at the very start), and reboot. It keeps doing this.

So I decided to flash the stock firmware via Odin, it was sucessful. The phone was working fine while it was with the usb plugged in (right after I flashed the FW).
When I unplugged the USB, the phone restarted and came back to the same problem.
I decided to flash again, same problem. It keeps running just fine but as soon as I remove the usb cable, the same thing happens, reboot and reboot.

I think the phone is not being able to keep the files in the internal storage. Somehow when I unplug the cable, it seems to erase all files inside.

Does anybody had the same problem? Or somthing similar?
What should I do?

disable back and recent buttons or turn down sensitivity.

I am having issues with the touch sensitivity of the note 5. The screen and capacitive buttons (back and recent apps) are simply TOO sensitive.

is there a way to disable these buttons in games or rather bring down the sensitivity down a bit?

for example when I am playing a game this i have to hold my phone in landscape mode. my thumb would always sometimes touch the "recent apps" button and it will bring me out of the game.

Is there any dev who could make a module that turns CM12.1 recent menu into one that looks more like Samsungs? I like it much more with the button layout:

I would like to ask if the clear all recents button was gone on your Oxygen OS after updating to 2.0.2

I just flashed the full rom and I just noticed that I don't have the button to clear all recent apps. Did I just changed any setting? I didn't remember any. Please remind me if there is something I need to change. Thanks

S6 edge recent apps softkey not working

Completely out of the blue, the recent apps soft key doesn't work anymore. It lights up when I click the back button on the other side, but it doesn't respond to any clicks. Nothing has been changed on phone recently to cause this.

Already wiped cache partition, it did not solve issue.

Anyone having this issue and knows a fix?

[RESOLUTION CHANGE on 5.1.1] My recent success on EOS

So.. I decided it was time to try changing my resolution.
I know what I did on my LG G Flex (4.4.2)
But I heard some people had luck on 5.1.1
Bad idea right? Right.

So, nomone changer didn't work. Didn't really expect it to either.
Resolution changer (can find here on xda), didn't work. But some people say it does.. Oh well.

Was getting discouraged, but was determined.
Found another app (on play)

IT WORKED!!! But it didn't!!
It works but it throws you into a reboot cycle... Dammit!
How do I fix this...

Nope.
My G3 will do a complete boot, but after about 10seconds... REBOOT

Just enough time to see if uninstalling will restore back to original settings.
NOPE!!
Whatever resolution you change to PERSISTS even after a reboot, WITHOUT the app installed... And no auto reboot!!

So, I'm now on this ROM (EOS Revival) with 1080x1920 resolution on 5.1.1.
Awesome, but DPI is way out of whack at 560...
I go to display and change down to 400.. Reboot
No love.

In comes another app.

It's the only one I found to work with 5.1.1 (because ro.sf.LCD_density build prop mod didn't/doesn't work)

So now I've been able to change to 1080x1920@300DPI

I need help how to lock some apps in ram (recent applications) so they could work in backround even when I clean the ram. In this way I could receive push notifications from viber... In real time.

What is the most recent play services for for the G3?

I installed an updated play services on cloudy 2.5 and now it keeps force closing. Which version is the correct version i should have and does anyone have any further instruction on how to fix this? As of right now i'm going to try a dirty flash of cloud to get play services back to the old way hopefully but i have my doubts here.

Lag when swiping away recent apps

I'm running Lollipop 5.1.1 and whenever I swipe away recent apps in the task switcher such as Chrome or Play Store, there is a lag/stutter before the app leaves the screen. It swipes away and then pauses for a second before leaving. Is there any way to fix this.

Phantom Recent Apps Glitch Google Maps

Hi everyone,

I have this weird glitch on my phone. When I'm using Google Maps, it would randomly open the "Recent Apps" and sometimes even the "Back" button would activate on its own. I initially thought it might have to do with the wireless charging but when I use Waze, I no longer see the phone glitching. Is it a hardware failure? Is it an Android software/Google Maps bug? Does this happen to anyone else?

I'm on stock T-Mobile with Developers Options enabled, and not rooted. According to this thread (http://forums.androidcentral.com/spr...presses-3.html) it's the GPU rendering.
