What is the best model I should buy for dev's success?

Which model should I seek, that will give me the best upgrading/modding possibilities, and still work in canada?

ZV6 Root Success !!

I got impatient waiting ;)

I followed all the documented procedures.

You apply this exactly like ZV5 Root. This only for LS991 (Sprint).

I've tested Root Explorer and WIFI Tether Router. It hesitated a little on the first attempt to grant root, I was probably rushing.
Once you apply this image on first boot it will want to upgrade Super User and you have to use "Normal".

YOU MUST BE ON ZV6 before you use this.

Not responsible for any bricking. I followed all procedures posted and I'm not gonna replicate it here.

Make sure you backup your unrooted image. I diffed my backup with the one uploaded by another developer and they are DIFFERENT.
I also tested rerooting a ZV5 stock image and it is DIFFERENT than the one uploaded.

Oh, I should mention, I restored my ZV5 image first and tried to take the OTA update. It just stayed stuck "Now Rebooting".
So then I tried applying the update through SD Card. That failed too, I guess it doesn't like my format of SD Card (didn't want to wipe).
I suspect if I factory Reset the OTA would have been fine, but I didn't want to do that.
So I noticed the ADB Sideload and tried that and it worked fine. It even gave you the command syntax for ADB. I had to upgrade ADB to make it work.

I have not done a lot of testing. I can't say tomorrow that LG added some sneaky app that removes root or something. But at this moment it seems fine.

Weird notifications on Note3 says : Get AP log done – success. Is it a hack?

Since one month, everyday at random times I get two notifications on my Note3 (Lollipop).
First ones says : Get AP log done – success and then after few seconds another one says: Get log copy- Done
I did google it but there is nothing about it out there.
Please help me on this as I am worried that my phone has been compromised .

[RESOLUTION CHANGE on 5.1.1] My recent success on EOS

So.. I decided it was time to try changing my resolution.
I know what I did on my LG G Flex (4.4.2)
But I heard some people had luck on 5.1.1
Bad idea right? Right.

So, nomone changer didn't work. Didn't really expect it to either.
Resolution changer (can find here on xda), didn't work. But some people say it does.. Oh well.

Was getting discouraged, but was determined.
Found another app (on play)

IT WORKED!!! But it didn't!!
It works but it throws you into a reboot cycle... Dammit!
How do I fix this...
Restore from backup? Wipe/Reflash ROM?

Nope.
My G3 will do a complete boot, but after about 10seconds... REBOOT

Just enough time to see if uninstalling will restore back to original settings.
NOPE!!
Whatever resolution you change to PERSISTS even after a reboot, WITHOUT the app installed... And no auto reboot!!

So, I'm now on this ROM (EOS Revival) with 1080x1920 resolution on 5.1.1.
Awesome, but DPI is way out of whack at 560...
I go to display and change down to 400.. Reboot
No love.

In comes another app.
• Neo Density DPI Changer by polarbear software
It's the only one I found to work with 5.1.1 (because ro.sf.LCD_density build prop mod didn't/doesn't work)

So now I've been able to change to 1080x1920@300DPI

Just an FYI if anyone is interested.
