Active display is different on Moto X Play?

ok so i got the Moto X 2014 ,Droid turbo and others Motorola.
the Active display works like that: when u got a notification the screen lights untill u read or dismiss the notification.
on Moto X play the phone acts in another way: lights one time ,then nothing untill u take the phone in ur hands. then the phone lights up and make u see that u got new notification.
why? why the screen doesn lights up more times like on Moto X 2014?

Unknown issue with Google Play services

I have this error "Unknown issue with Google Play Services" whenever I try to open Gmail... Couple of weeks ago, I skipped some updated and all my google related apps stopped working.. gmail, chrome, photos.. I somehow managed to fix them by uninstalling and reinstalling but gmail is not getting fixed. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks a bunch. Cheerz

Moto X Play - Manual Option & RAW / DNG format support

Since Moto X Play (2015) is using Android 5.01 , with latest Camera 2 APIs, do we have Manual control over camera (Shutter speed / focus), also would like to know if the default Camera App supports Image capturing in DNG / RAW format.

Error "Update google play services" after updating to 5.0.2 Lollipop

So I updated my Galaxy Grand Prime (SM-G530H) to 5.0.2 Lollipop via youmobile post and using the final firmware which is recently.

Everything went good except I'm always having this error that says "Update google play services, Google play services won't run unless you update Google play services" and I did updated it

so does anyone knows what is the problem or experienced the same thing and knows a fix?
Any help appreciated ..

Google play crash with CM12 on OPO

Hi all,
I updated my OPO to CM12 and the google play services can't be updated leading to the notorius battery drain plus several other issues.
It's all stock, less than 1 month old unit, what can I do?
The previous version, CM11 was great, the current YNG1TAS17L is creating only problems.
Please help.

CM 12 camera on Moto x Play rom

Hello guys! I have been searching for clues about the camera stopping (closing down the OS aswell) on CM12 for Moto X play.

Now i wonder if someone have the same issue,

ISSUE: Trying to load up the camera app and the whole os is rebooting, dont know why? Any clues?

Moto X Play ROM problem

Hello everyone!

So i installed the CM12 rom for Moto X Play xt1562 version. Everything went fine until i did a factory reset. I first had a bootloop and could go inside the rom again. Then i did a factory reset and now i cant get pass TWRP..

I have been searching on the forum for clues why and how to solve my problem but cannot find anything.

Just to describe what message i get is :

" failed to mount /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/system at/system: No such file or directory."

I have the "stock" rom aswell but the same message appear when i do this :(


I'm very happy if someone have the answare to my million dollar question!

Google Play Store "No Connection"

Dear all,

I have a LG G Flex,. it was rooted and I unrooted it using SU Unroot method.
Google Play store was working fine on wifi etc. But few days back, it has stopped working.

I tried clear cache, gmail account removal and re-add. I can't do Host file method as its un-rooted now. I don't want to do FACTORY RESET.

Any other way to fix this?

How rooting and stock firmware updates work on Moto X Play?

So, I'm coming from a "dead" Sammy Galaxy S3. I want to know of you, Moto users, how are these things no Moto X Play. I mean..
In my dead S3, I rooted using Odin and, when stock updates still existed, I was unable to update on phone and had to use Odin to flash the whole rom. After this, the root access disappear and I had to root it again using Odin.

How this things works on Motorola devices? I have already learned how to root the X Play but, after rooting, how do I update my stock firmware when any update become available? Do I have to update in the phone in the stock method (like a dream :fingers-crossed:) or Motorola devices got a flashing tool such as Odin?

Google Play Services - Version Request

I updated my Google Play Services and I recently started getting a message in Google Fit that Activity Detection is off. I click on it and it acts like it will take me somewhere and it never does. Same when I try and view the Google Maps Time line. When I go into location settings Location Services is missing.
Any ideas?
Can I reinstall Location Services somehow?
Can I downgrade back to whatever version of Google Play Services that came on the phone?

Is there a way of selling an app on Google Play without showing my home address?

I've had my phone for over a month now and everything has been ok up to now. I want to download a game and an anti virus app but all of a sudden, I cannot get the "google play store" to open. I've tried clearing the cash and uninstalling updates and that doesn't work.

When sounds play to loud nook HD turns off

Since installing CM 10.2, my nook HD just shuts off when a sound plays too loud. I always keep my volume down so it hasn't been a problem until now, because I turned my notification sound up and now when I turn the nook on a notification sound plays because I have a new email, shutting down the tablet immediately. Can this be fixed?

Disappearing Play Store Apps

Friends,

Got an unlocked ATT unit and side loaded unlocked Fire OS 4.6.3. Loaded Play Store according to the instructions on the forum. Everything seemed to be working well. Gmail, maps, and wallet all working great. But, my apps keep disappearing.

For example, I download Facebook from Play Store. Shows up where it should. Put it into a folder with my other social media apps. About a day later, the app disappears from the "device" side (removed from folder/no icon under device tab), shows up in the "cloud" side with a check in bottom right corner to show it's installed. From there, I can open and use the app. Play Store also shows the app installed.

Auto update is off in Amazon App Store. Any idea what's going on?

Problem with "Ingress" application stops play

Hello community partners, this is my first experience with an end of the company Asus. I'm super happy with it.:fingers-crossed:

Timely topic: I'm having trouble with an application called "Ingress" is a massive game of virtual reality. The issue is the following have the application running in the foreground everything is fine but turning off the display (by tapping the button turns off or waiting alone) application stops for no reason.:crying:

Compilation: 2.20.40.90 (also happened with the previous one)
Game version: Ingress V1.81.0 (latest available)
