Always "Charging from AC" even when at 100% battery

Hello,

I would like to know if it's normal that my phone constantly shows "Charging from AC" when the battery is full at 100% and that it has been plugged in for hours. Shouldn't it show "Plugged in AC" ? I had a LG phone that showed "Plugged in AC" when the battery reached 100% (indicating the battery was full and not being charged anymore)

Does it mean that my Moto G battery is constantly being charged even when at 100% or does it mean they forgot to add another status (like "plugged in AC") for this 100% state ?

CM12 Privacy Guard - WiFi Scan for Location always active?

As no one in the Q&A forum could give me an answer, maybe here someone knows what's going on "under the hood".

Privacy Guard tells me that location is constantly active using Wi-Fi scan with the settings app although I've Wi-Fi turned off:


That is annoying as first I do not want my location constantly monitored and second this maybe also is not "battery friendly".

Anyone knows what's going on here exactly? Is it true what privacy guard tells me?
On CM11 the settings app was not constantly monitoring the location using Wi-Fi when Wi-Fi was turned off.

(REQUEST) Night Clock always on when plugged in on AC

But, only when plugged in. That's the way I think it should of been from the beginning. Its a battery drainer otherwise. A night clock should be only on at night when a person traditionally plugs in to charge it like you would over night. Another great toggle would be for the night clock to only activate when the alarms set. I generally don't care what time it is if I don't have to get up for work. If I work I wake up and look at the clock cause my alarm is set for 3 am. Another great feature would be a notification toggle for the night clock.

[Q] Doesn't always fast charge?

Does anyone else have an issue with fast charging? I am using the original cable/charger that came in the box and I have to unplug/replug it in anywhere from 2-6 times for it to register as fast charging, sometimes more. I have also tried using the charger that came with my Note 4, same issue. Tried using a different wall outlet, same issue. I noticed a thread on Android Central references this same issue but as that is not purely T-Mobile brands, it's hard to gauge where the issue comes from.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Lollipop CM12 Privacy Guard - Location always active?

It seems as if location is always active in CM12. Is this true?
I've CM12.1 installed on my Nexus 5. I use it without GApps.
Except when I'm abroad, I never use WIFI and keep it disabled. I rarely use GPS, when activating it I use GPS only mode.

When I enter the advanced privacy settings in Privacy Guard I get the following under location:
As I cannot post a screenshot, here is what it says:
Android System - monitor location (used 11 times), coarse location - running
Settings Wi-Fi scan (used 93 times), coarse location - 0 min ago

How can this happen when WIFI is disabled? On Kitkat this was not the case.

Is it possible to get rid of this behavior? I do not want Settings to constantly scan WIFI and Android System monitor my location. This is very annoying.
If it is really constantly active it also will drain the battery faster.

Screen always on

I have a Galaxy S6 and as you know it has a super amoled display.. is there an app that can keep the display on always showing the time.. light up just a few pixels..

Can't boot into recovery, always fastboot (But OS working!)

Hey guys,

I don't really know, what i did with my device :( At the moment i have ColorOS 2.1.3 on it, i flashed before with TWRP. The ROM works fine, i also have LVM with no problems.
But now i can't boot anymore in my recovery :( Always when i want to boot in recovery, it vibrates and shows for one second the "OPPO / powered by ANDROID" screen. Then it turns off, vibrates again and fastboot screen appears. So there is no difference for me if i start my phone with POWER+Vol+ OR POWER+Vol-. It always ends up in fastboot mode, no recovery anymore.
In fastboot i can flash recovery but it doesn't matter which recovery i flash, i always can't reboot into it :(
Do you have any ideas? As said, OS is working, there i don't have any problems...

Verizon LG g4 proximity sensor always on when screen is turned off.

If the screen is on, but before unlock, proximity sensor is on as well. It will turn off only after unlock the screen to home screen.

Will it cause battery drain and infrared light burned out/dead after being *"ON" all the time?

It is infrared, so you can only tell if you use another camera or phone look at it.

The phone is supposed to be fully unlocked. To use LTE/4G i have to allow roaming.

i did a search but cant seem to pin a how too

I want to be abled to always show even if status bar is transparent over top of a game playing so I can see what the wifi and battery is doing

I know can slide finger down. but it auto hides..


1) how can you change the time out of that

2) turn it auto hiding again..even if its finger swipe up


I search xposed modules but onyl found one that changes colour of clock and adds battery percentage

but nothing there to always show e.g. in full screen

if theres a module or app that edits build pro easily so can turn off and on would be great

Always in Roaming Mode

Hi all,

My Elephone P8000 is always in roaming mode on both sim slots.

The phone is suposed to be unlocked and free network.

I use 2 sim card (free and virgin mobile), on the top bar i hace 4GR and 4GR. In order to have 4G network i have to allow the roamming in network menu.

Screen always on

Hello, I just picked up a Lumia 928 for a low price, and I love it. The one thing that bothers me is when I have it charging in my car dock and day I have Pandora playing, the screen shuts off. Is there any way to have the screen not shut off, am I missing something simple?

Help, Reboot always go to TWRP

Helo, I am following one of the post about installing Lollipop to GT P7500 3g.
3 times it failed installing gapps L-7-17-15, I gave up and today, without connecting to Odin (directly go to TWRP) tried for the last time L-56-15 and still failed.

One thing I notice is that the file structure has changed. Previously, all the rom files are directly under root /
but now it's under /sdcard/0/0

and right now, everytime it reboots, never goes in to Android but always TWRP.
Seems like I messed it up... :crying:

What should i do?

Rooted G530M always boots to Recovery

After rooting using CF-Auto-Root (CF-Auto-Root-fortunalte-fortunalteub-smg530m.tar.md5), my G530M always boots to Recovery mode with the following text:

By selecting "reboot system now", the phone boots ok and rooting works fine.
The problem is just the booting process stops in recovery EVERY time.
Any ideas?????

Bootloader starts always after restart

I have a problem with any updates or even factory reset. When I start an updaete, after restart the phone the bootloader appears and it make to stop the process of the update or factory reset. The phone HTC ONE M8 was rooted with s-off before, but I did return it to the stock (problem with camera and I need to take it back to the store on guarantee) the only thing what I forget to do was to change "software status: Modified" to "Software status: Official". Can anyone help me? The screen from bootloader attached.

Fastboot flash always fails with "Permission denied"

So no matter what image (recovery, boot, system) I try to flash I get the same error of "Permission denied". Model ZE551ML.

I've unlocked my bootloader and previously had TWRP recovery, but while trying to upgrade to .63 by Fastboot flashing method, I got the above error and now it's soft bricked. I managed to get the stock recovery back from within TWRP, but even it won't apply signed updates (fails with Status 7). So I can't flash any of the stock images nor TWRP again, and I'm in a constant bootloop. Any help or suggestions are welcome!
