Restore to factory state.

I Would like to sell my moto G2 and for that I would like to revert all my changes I've made.
I've installed a custom recovery and rooted my Phone.
I'm still running Android 4.4.4 and would then like to upgrade to 5.x.

I've found some posts on the matter, but I didn't find a clear step by step solution.
I always prefer it if I have very detailed instructions when playing around with my phone as I don't regularly flash roms etc and don't want to make any mistakes.

If some one would be so helpful and give me a stet by step instruction on what I have to do (backup, stock rom etc)

Thanks for the help.
Daniel

[Tip] How to restore original state of phone / Should work on every Sony device

Hello, idlike to share my solution. I had a big problem, i finaly get a new phone and wanted get rid off my Xperia X10 Mini Pro, but i wanted to keep my SDcard. Unfortunatelly i make a lot of kernel flash and tryed several roms then i keep GingerDX, but i couldnot boot phone without SDcard in it. So i spend some time to find solutions, tryed to somehow move xrec, clocwork and other files to internal storage but without luck. Then i get my hands on Sony PC Companion, with this application u can repair any Sony device to his original state.

Prepare atleast 5GB of free space on your C: Drive, yes on your C: drive, because this app dont offer custom install path, i know its realy shame, its even more shame if its appears in company like Sony.
U still need SD Card for this, but after repair u wont needed SD card anymore and phone will be bootable again.
Instructions:
-Download and Install SPCC -support.sonymobile.com - tools - download ( I would post link but i am new here, and have some restriction, so u need to find by yourself )
-Turn OFF your phone and wait 5 sec or just take out battery and plug back
-Do not plug USB yet, just open SPCC and Run Support Zone (It will download some additional components)
-Run Update Software, it will prompt dialog "etc:Phone is not recognized", click on repair phone/tablet
-Follow instruction in SPCC, SPCC will download and prepare all files, choose type of your phone and u will get on Connecting screen
-If u pass connection when u holding right combination given by SPCC u can continue, in my case i couldnot connect with SPCC because i had ClockworkMode nAa kernel, so with that combination (right button 'back' and plugin usb) i get only to CW, u will actualy pass to second SPCC conecting screen, where SPCC says u need to swipe bar on top and allow usb, ofcourse i couldnt do that in CW, so simply go to 'Advanced Settings' and choose 'Reboot Recovery', litle light above display should lights green as it remains connected to SPCC, now u should have no problem and SPCC will complete repair process.
- after SPCC is done u can unplug USB and turn your Phone On
- wait few minutes, first start can take really long time, and u are ready to go now u can remove SD card without any problems at next start.

Also make sure batery is atleast 45%-65% charged, depend on condition of your battery. Make sure your USB cable is working without problem, in my case i needed to get diferent because original cable had some contact issues, and disconected few times during update/repair, dont worry SPCC interupt and wait till u connect USB back, in this case u are already connected with SPCC so disconnecting will lead only to popup dialog with reconnect button, u dont need to do all the process again.

I apologize if something like that is already there but i found verry difficult find solution and i didnt find any here. Also sorry for my bad english i am just begginer.

Cyanogenmod 12 on Z3C: Current State of Affairs

The ROMs section of this forum for Z3C has like 3 unofficial CM12 threads, but none of them have been updated in months. I found the freexperia project website but I can't see where there's any discussion about how close that is to working.

I used CM on my last phone (Galaxy S) since GB and I loved it. I guess I'm just wondering if anything is happening for CM on Z3C and I'm not seeing it because I don't know where to look.

Need help "resetting" phone to its original state

Firstly, I apologize if this is the wrong forum to post this on, but I am becoming somewhat desperate for help and found none of it on various other forums I tried.

I have a Huawei Honor Holly (Hol-U19) which I recently rooted. I then attempted to install a custom ROM and ClockworkMod, but somehow it all ended in me not being able (as far as I know) to access recovery mode - not by pressing the specific buttons during startup or via software like Flashify. I'm not sure that ClockworkMod is still installed. The phone doesn't show up in Windows Explorer (whether USB debugging is on or not or the SD card is inserted or not) or ADB (using Minimal ADB and Fastboot).

The gist of it is that I don't know how to install the stock ROM to "reset" it back to its original "form", and I really need some help on this. If you need any other specific information, I'll try my best to give it to you.

What is the current state of RAM management on the S6?

Hey, I'm considering buy a S6 or an S6 edge but one of the things I'm worried about is the problems with RAM. I've read a lot about problems with RAM management on the S6 with it not able to keep apps running in the background. I can foresee this being very annoying. From what I've read on these forums, I know that people started editing DHA/FHA values and that custom ROMs seem to have helped a lot.

I did however read some recent posts which said that these fixes didn't work and the phones slowed down after a while and still had bad multitasking. I wasn't able to find a place where all the information about RAM fixes was collated so I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction or tell me that with modding the S6, does the multitasking and ram management become usable? Or is there still significant problems with how the memory is handled?
